Saying Goodbye

As Charles walked along following his Mother and Father so he knew where to go. So he could arrive at the platform with the train to Hogwarts. Charles was humming the tune to a song his mother used to sing to him. Then they stopped at a wall, Charles was very confused by this. " Why are we stopping? " Charles said to his parents. In response to his question his mother answered " Were here! " she said smiling. With no doubt Charles thought she was hoping he would be a Ravenclaw like her. " What do you mean were here? Were standing in front of a wall, not a train! " Charles said. But he did not mean to be rude. Finally for the first time since they got here his father spoke. " You will see son. " His father said as he was smirking. With that, his father grabbed Charles's mom's hand. Then they backed up and took off running at the wall. Charles was about to yell, but when the collision should have happened they went right through the wall. Charles let go of his cart and walked over to the wall, he felt it and it was solid. Confused Charles went back and got a firm grip on his cart. He should have know something like this would have happened. Rolling his eyes as he thought why he was doing this. Then he ran at the wall pushing his cart with him. Just like when his parents did it instead of colliding into the wall he went through it. But he did not know since he had his eyes closed cause he was too scared to look. He stopped running and felt a pat on his shoulder. " You can open your eyes now." His mother said. Reluctantly he opened his eyes and saw the Hogwarts express. He must have been staring in awe cause his father decided to talk again. " Its a beauty isn't it. No matter how many times I've seen it I have never gotten used to it. " Then at that moment, Charles realized what was happening. Tears started to form blurring his vision.
" Its okay Charles, you won't be away that long. and you can always send us owls." His parents said to make him feel better. His mother came over to Charles and wiped away his tears. She smiled softly trying to reassure him more. Charles then hugged his mother and his father joined. " I'm going to miss you guys so much. " Charles said still in the embrace of his parents. Then his father grabbed him by the shoulders and turned him around to face the train. " You better get going Charles, don't let this opportunity pass by. " His father said, then he pushed Charles forward to the train. Charles took a deep breath and got on the train. He did not look back because he knew if he did he would never leave.
