Backstory: Ollie grew up in a pretty normal life before Hogwarts. She attended muggle schooling, achieving great marks in science and having a growing interest in minerals, rocks, crystals and everything in between. Growing up though, she didn't have many friends. Her first bout of magic happened when she was about 5. She made an easily broken shield to stop herself from getting hurt when she was pushed down on the playground. After that, people tended to avoid her, even her teachers and adults. She would have several more accidents like this one, such as making a bubble of sorts when she fell down a hill, and turning her peas (her least favorite vegetable) into mac and cheese (her favorite food). Her parents grew more and more worried as time went on, her being very fearful lead to more of the "little timpistí (accidents in Galic)" as her parents called them. One time she even put a bubble around a bird! So, once she got her Hogwarts letter... It's a wonder she didn't bubble the owl too! Once she finally did get the letter though... All of the peices started clicking into place. The bubbles, the transforming foods... She was a witch! Her parents studied and studied, trying to find out how to get to this "Hogwarts" and what it was exactly. Eventually, time for her to get her supplies came around, and she had to go on her own! Now, being alone was one of her fears, so when they(her and her parents) finally found the Leaky Cauldron, she was very very happy she didn't have to go on her own! She very quickly got her supplies and ran around looking at the wondrous things all around her in Diagon Alley. The wizard she was with just smiles and shook his head. She learned more about him as time went on, his name was Tomas, he was French ad had attended Hogwarts himself when he was her age, now, he has a wife and 3 kids, and helped muggle-borns find everything they needed. Their last stop was Olivanders. There, she met her wand. It took 3 tries for her to get it right, each time either she or Tomas almost got set on fire, but it was worth it! When time for her to leave on the train came, she was nervous. Tomas wasn't with her, and neither were her parents so she wandered around from the time she got there, to 5 minuets before the train left, looking for it. When she finally found it, she rushed to get on, and almost 3 seconds after she found her seat, the train started moving. She sat by herself the entire ride, and even fell asleep twice! Once she finally got to Hogwarts, she was very... Apprehensive? The looming castle gave her a nagging sense of dread. And on her way to the castle, she fell into the lake! She stood, along with the other bright eyed first years, waiting for the sorting. After the hat sang it's song and they finally got to G. she got more and more scared. She was afraid that the hat would sense that she was a mistake and send her away. When she finally got to sit on the stool with the had on her head, it felt... very scary, having everyone look at her. It took her almost 10 minuets to be sorted, when the hat finally called out Ravenclaw, some of her anxiety fizzled away. She walked off stage, still terrified but happy to not be sent away. She sat at the very end of the table, all by herself and ate silently through the entire feast. After it, and with the prefects guiding her and the rest of the 1st years to the common room, she helped solve the riddle and made her way up to her room, and went to sleep.
