Practice makes perfect

It was a warm spring day and Sean had decided that he would spend today practicing the Reparo charm in the courtyard. He had sent a request to Professor Vernatis, who kindly accepted and even procured him an object to practice with : a broken vase. Sean had learned this spell a week back and was looking forward to mastering it since he found it quite useful and pretty fun to watch. He got ready taking his charms book with him and made his way to the Great Hall where he had breakfast and then went to grab the vase in the charms classroom where Professor Vernatis had left it for him.
When arriving at the courtyard, Sean was a bit relieved to see that there wasn't too many people around most of them must have gone closer to the lake or around the grounds. He didn't want to draw too much attention since he had to concentrate, there were quieter places to practice but Sean had become found of the courtyard, he would come her often to read or study. He sat on the side and placed the broken vase in front of him, he then opened his book to the right page and started reading to himself. He knew most of it already but he wanted it to be perfect so he made sure to read the incantation, repeating it several times in the correct way and also practiced making the wand movement. He was determined to do this several times before even attempting to do the spell.
Sean at first wanted to practice on one of his books that had a thorn page from the travel but he was told that he would need to learn a variation of the Reparo spell called Papyrus Reparo to do this. But before trying to learn a variation of it he would have to master the original spell. He took out his wand, it still felt strange to him so he couldn't help but smile looking at it.

Usually one would rarely see the reclusive little Breana out and about in the courtyard, but lately, she's been going around the castle more. It's less than two months away until her first year is closing in, so it's no surprise that she had a spontaneous case of explorer's feet. She wanted to see and take in every nook and cranny before she gets back home to her parents. As she's headed out to the courtyard, she took in the lovely red and purple view as the sun is slowly setting. Breana has seen such a view from her windowsill before, but it was vastly different compared to seeing it in her tiny window. Here, the courtyard looked like it had its stone walls painted in orange and purple.
Breana took in a large breath, smiling as she walked over to a stone bench she can relax in. Then she heard some sharp clanging nearby. She turned her head, happy to know who the clanging culprit was. It's Sean, the Hufflepuff she met when she accidentally made a large mess back in the library. She's seen him in classes, of course, but they never got the chance to talk since that incident. Her eyes traveled down to the broken vase he was unraveling. She tilted her head with intrigue. Spell practice, perhaps? Her curiosity couldn't help but continue to observe what the brown-haired boy was doing. After a while, she recognized what spell he was studying for-- Reparo.
If this happened back in her early days, she would've mentally applauded to such studied and moved on. But now, she has grown a liking to Charms class, maybe even finding herself perusing more to such books over the Potions section. The more she observed the boy's studies, the more she couldn't help but want to help him with such endeavors. Soon enough, Breana stood up, one foot after another, and now she's slowly approaching Sean. "Hey! Uh... Sean, right?" She asked, careful to not scare him with her suddenly popping in. "It's me, Breana! Er... the library gal?" She said sheepishly. "Anyways," She craned her neck, looking over at the broken vase that he had. "You studying for Charms? Reparo, right? I-i mean, I can only deduce..."
