Ball Date PV Grace Mint Finished

Grace stared out the window across from her bed as she sat on the end of her neat bed, Grace took the most random book from her bedside table and read it randomly, not paying attention to anything, then a thought came into her head, it was about the ball, who was Grace gonna ask to it? It's not like Grace likes anyone at the school, she barely knew anybody or had many friends, she was an introvert. Grace stared at the Great Lake, somebody was there, "I wonder who's there..." Grace wondered out loud, not that anybody was in the dorm at the moment, Grace had no idea why, Grace got up and went out of the dorms, down the stairs and out the common room. Grace walked down the many stairs to the outside of the castle, she skipped on the grass and kicked a rock while skipping, the cold wind blew her ponytail as she walked, she noticed the person was Savannah Griffis once Grace got there, she noticed Savannah was staring out to the distance, Savannah then turned around “Grace! What are ye doing out here?” Savannah said, surprised "Oh uh, I saw you standing here..." Grace blushed and looked at Savannah "So um do you have um a date to the ball?" Grace asked.

Savannah blushed as Grace talked about the ball, she knew she had the guts to ask her to the ball somewhere, Savannah as the girls she was blurted out "Do ye want to go to the ball with me?" she blushed a bit more and then corrected herself a bit "Ye know as f-friends?" that word stung the young Slytherin, she had no idea why but it did, Annah looked at Grace, why did she come all the way out of her nice dorm into this weather just to talk to her embarrassed friend? Savannah stashed that thought into the back of her head and bit her lip, fortunately this time it didn't bleed, Savannah was happy something good happened in her day, she didn't have a great day, classes weren't very good but lunch was pretty good for her, Annah smiled a tiny bit and felt the wind blow, the wind was pretty strong, causing Savannah to move a bit closer, Savannah looked at the lake, the water splashed a bit of the corner of Savannah's robes, it was cold, she could tell because the corner kept hitting her ankle, Savannah ignored it, her eyes tried to look at anything, anything but Grace.

Grace blushed, her eyes widened, Savannah just asked her to the ball “Oh! Sure! We’re friends right?” Grace looked at Savannah, a bit embarrassed about the friendzone, Grace looked at Savannah, gritting her teeth, but stopped, smiling at Savannah. Grace remembered the dress she bought for the ball, it was in her trunk in the dorm, Grace looked at Savannah and blushed “So uh I’ve been hearing that the past balls were pretty much a fail” Grace told her, Grace only knew that because she heard people whisper it in the halls, Grace then remembered it was almost night, which meant they might get in trouble if their out at this time. “Listen, Annah, I’ll talk to you tomorrow, see you!” Grace said, waving as she walked away, the wind blew hard and cold, making Grace’s ponytail whip in the wind, covering Grace’s face as she walked up to the castle. Grace couldn’t make out where she was going, then she felt her leg hit something hard, as she tripped and fell, she felt something drip down her ankle, her face was flat on the ground, Grace cried out in pain, but everything she could hear or see or feel stopped as Grace was dissolved in darkness.

Savannah looked down at her feet, biting her lip as she heard Grace's answer, but she said yes, not no, so Savannah was extremely happy, she smiled at Grace, not caring that she just friendzoned her. "Really? Okay!" Savannah smiled brightly, then everything so really awkward again, Savannah remembered her mom packed Annah a dress just in case something like this happened "Thank ye mum" Savannah thought, Grace then said something but Savannah couldn't hear, she was thinking about how jealous her sister Emily would be, her sister always dreamed about going to a ball, and when they were little she would for Annah to play a fake ball, even though Savannah didn't want to, they would get the dolls to pretend to be other people, it annoyed Annah a lot. Savannah was too lost in her thoughts to notice that Grace had gotten hurt, but she heard her voice cry out in pain, all the thoughts poofed away just like in a cartoon and Savannah ran up to Grace, she had blood trickling down her ankle and she looked knocked out, Savannah's hands trembled but she called out "Help! She needs to go to the Hospital Wing!" but nobody answered, Annah sighed, alright, she had to take her there.
