What a Keeper
@Ruthie Greer | @ Lark Flaer | @David Young
It was a surprisingly warm Sunday afternoon, most people chose this day to wind down and prepare for a new week of classes. On any other day, some people decided to either catch up on last-minute homework that was due the next day, some chose that time to hang out with friends but not Alan. Recently the young lad Alan had joined the Quidditch Team, with very little to no experience in the position he's decided to try out, is a Keeper. With no experience, Alan decided to reach out to his new friend Ruthie requesting they have a small training session together to get him familiar with the rules. Alan also asked another fellow player Lark Flaer, whom the young lad had met during a Quidditch match. The Second Year also mentioned to Lark and Ruthie in his request to bring anyone they think could spare the time to help the young lad who is just wanting to get familiar with the game. Arriving early at the training pitch sporting his Ravenclaw Quidditch Robes, followed by some flight goggles to keep the breeze out of his eyes and to his dismay at the request of his Nan had a piece of headgear held on his right hand.
Placing his leather headgear on the ground, the young lad looked around to see where the school brooms were kept. Alan muttered to himself "I do hope they show up; otherwise, this will be awkward..." returning to the pitch he placed on the ground a couple of school brooms for those who didn't have any(not too mention he didn't have his own either). Looking around at the empty training pitch, the young lad sat alone on the ground gazing over towards the broom he may be flying shortly. Alan collided his open palm towards his face, shaking his head as the young lad. Chuckled anxiously as he spoke out loud appearing a tad frustrated with his impulse decision "What the bloody hell is wrong with you, Al, why did you sign up for this?" The jitters kicked in as both legs despite laying flat on the ground were shaking both in anticipation and fear. Alan thought of all the negative outcomes as well as arguing with his inner thoughts "Al, you got nothing to worry about, as you said before you want to try new things." This line of thinking made the boy more anxious, wanting to rip the band-aid off he said out loud "let's just get this over with...maybe I can have some fun while I wait."
Stepping up off the grass leg still shaking, he held his hand over one of the brooms that lay on the ground and shouted: "Up!" The broomstick rolled on the ground for a moment, with a little more determination in his tone, he shouted once more "Up!". In that instant, the school broom rose from the ground flying into Alan's hand, with a nervous grin on his face he said: "Can't believe that worked..." He looked around the pitch hoping for someone to show up for the impromptu practice the young lad setup.

What a Keeper
David knew that the season of quidditch was over. He had a blast. Even though they lost the Quidditch game and the season, David couldn't help that he would be wanting to play more Quidditch. In the meantime, he got back to being a student of Hogwarts. This changed.
David was talking with his teammates one day and noticed that he was going to be at Quidditch practice or Quidditch bonding time. He had the chance to play Quidditch again, or maybe something else. Nonetheless, he got his stuff ready and of course, he brought the broom that was gifted to him by his friends and headed to the Quidditch pitch.
When he arrived at the Quidditch pitch, the noticed that someone was there. He saw one of his teammates on the pitch. He approached to his teammate. "Hey" He greeted him. David was in the mood the play more Quidditch. Yes, he played Quidditch in the last game. Yes, he lost the game, but he had a blast and didn't want to stop playing. He was in a calming state at the moment, just like what he always did for the time being. David then waited for the rest of his teammates to join in and come to the Quidditch Pitch to start this.
