~History/Background Story~
Ava's father is descended from Welsh lineage while her mother is from New England. However, Ava's mother moved to America to be with her father only to discover that he was gone and left a letter saying he felt he was not ready to make that kind of commitment. (Ava is unaware of the letter.) So Ava grew up in wizard America with her mom for ten years and six months. While living with her mom the young girl was often taken to the muggle world to learn of its going on's so as to never be ignorant of the two worlds. However, this had not quite been perfected as the young child knows much more about the muggle world than the one she lives in.
When her mother started to fall ill she began sending owls to her cousin knowing that this would immobilize her soon and Ava would need care. There has been little information released on what the young girl's mom has, but Ava remembers what her mother had told her before sending her to her mom's homeland, "No matter what happens, you will find allies all around you. Don't let what's happening now stop you from being happy." From there Ava was sent to live with her Auntie May! A gorgeous woman with blonde locks and striking blue eyes. The next six months were the hardest for Ava as she came to terms with her mother's sickness and adjusting to an entirely new culture all while her aunt attempted to keep her mother's wishes for Ava. She has been home-schooled for the most part and has some experience with mythical creatures due to her aunt.
~Signs of Magic~
Ava's magic first showed signs when she was three when her mother had left her child alone in the kitchen, in her high chair. When she had returned Ava had two cookies on her tray with the jar askew on the kitchen floor far from its place on top of their fridge.
Again her magic appeared when she was five and some children of poor intent threw rocks at her only to have the rocks all seem to miss by marginal standards.
The last time Ava's magic was apparent was when she was nine camping in the woods far from civilization and she dreamed of a dark place that resulted in something she could not explain, something approached her when she was awake. It was dark and cold. It approached her and she felt like her life was being drained, memories became hard to recall until she didn't even remember forgetting them and it ended with her mother saying words she could not hear and the thing was gone. They went home that same night.

Properties of Wand (according to Pottermore)
Wood: This unusual and highly attractive wand wood was greatly in vogue in the nineteenth century. Demand outstripped supply, and unscrupulous wandmakers dyed substandard woods in an effort to fool purchasers into believing that they had purchased silver lime. The reasons for these wands’ desirability lay not only in their unusually handsome appearance, but also because they had a reputation for performing best for Seers and those skilled in Legilimency, mysterious arts both, which consequently gave the possessor of a silver lime wand considerable status. When demand was at its height, wandmaker Arturo Cephalopos claimed that the association between silver lime and clairvoyance was ‘a falsehood circulated by merchants like Gerbold Ollivander (my own grandfather), who have overstocked their workshops with silver lime and hope to shift their surplus’. But Cephalopos was a slipshod wandmaker and an ignoramus, and nobody, Seer or not, was surprised when he went out of business.
Core:This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike.
Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.
