New Arrivals and New Flair

Ava walked along King's Cross station with her mother's cousin who she called "Auntie" May. The pair were smiles and chuckles as her guardian told her all about the school she graduated from, "I was a Ravenclaw, you know. Ambitious reader and always seeking more knowledge, it's part of why I loved your mother's idea of keeping you in the know with this world."

"Well the train was certainly new. I have never been on a train before! Do all of them have soft seats?" Ava's aunt laughed a bit as they approached platform nine, "Perhaps, I know the next train you're getting on will! Just think: soft, luxurious velvet!" Ava laughed as her Auntie May did this whole little dance with blonde curls waving before stopping at a pillar and placing her hands on Ava's shoulders, "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" The young girl grinned and held nodded barely containing her excitement as she ran towards the pillar with her aunt giving her one last push whispering in her ear, "Don't forget to write."

Once the pale girl made it to the other side she gasped and laughed a bit at all the stalls adorning Platform 9 3/4! There were fizzy pops, joke stands, and even some food vendors! However, the money awarded to Ava was already eaten up with school supplies and she wanted to save it for when it would really matter, Ohhh! It sure looks good though... Ava shook her head to clear her mind of temptation walking by many families saying goodbye and placing her luggage down to look around this amazing world she was going to be apart of for several years to come! I mean, she had never stayed in a dormitory before!
