Something New Everyday

Evie decided it was library time. She loved to immerse herself in the pages, learning new things, or just becoming a part of another world. She scanned shelves and stopped when she a title caught her eye.

Common Magical Ailments and Afflictions

Evie grabbed the book and found a table nearby, where no one was occupying, sat down, grabbed her parchment and a quill and opened the book. She jotted down notes from the book, starting with mange, and the symptoms, the causes, and the appropriate cures. She was particularly fascinated by Portkey sickness and Dragon Pox. She was looking through the book, in awe at the different types of ailments and illnesses and the different ways to cure them.

After writing all about 'Splinching' Evie realized she had run out of ink. "Oh no!" She looked around and went to the desk and asked if she could borrow some more. She would bring her other bottle up tomorrow to replace it and smiled and thanked Mr. Quarren when he handed the bottle to her.

She put her current book up and decided to find a book about Quidditch. She wanted to learn all about it, because she was interested in making the team next year. She knew she couldn't be Keeper, her favorite position, but she would try her hardest to make it. She sat down and started making notes and humming to herself while she did so.
Something New Everyday
After a long day filled with homework and assignments, Ella hurriedly walked down to the library, where she could peacefully read. Ella has been going to the library after school everyday for she had nothing to do. She was new at Hogwarts and didn't know anybody there. She had wanted to make friends ever since she set foot at Hogwarts but every time she tried to, she'd get anxiety and she'd chicken out.

Ella entered the library, there were more people than usual. She looked over to where she usually sat, near the back, and found her seat occupied by a girl. She didn't bother going up to her and telling the her that, that was her seat. It was rude. So she looked around the library to find another empty seat.

After minutes of walking around the library, she had found an empty seat, right next to a girl. She had red hair and pale skin. Her face was covered by her long curly red hair as she looked down on her book. reading.

There were no other seats available in the library. So, Ella walked up to the girl and asked her "Mind if I join you?" whilst she was clutching her book close to her chest.
