The Floo Network
COVID-19 has spread throughout the muggle world as we all well know and threatens the lives of thousands of muggles as this global pandemic has covered the globe in unprecedented speed. COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus quickly spreads from person to person with no presently known muggle treatment. However, among wizards there is a treatment -- The Grand Pepperup Potion taught year three in Potions here at Hogwarts. While the potion is readily accessible in the magical world, the same cannot be said of muggles unfortunately. We feel that as fellow humans we need to lend muggle-kind aid and therefore plan to produce an incredible amount of the Grand Pepperup Potion and administer it to the muggle public under the guise of a super-food, vitamin tonic. Unfortunately, we do not have enough supplies and we need every able bodied wizard to help, including you.

The Floo Network
Ruthie could not recall traveling by floo powder all that often. When traveling with her mother, it was usually via portkey to a Quidditch match. When traveling with her father, it was by a muggle method, usually one of the boats. Floo powder was remarkably simple to either of these. So, when she learned she would be supervising this part of the COVID-19 effort, she felt like she gotten lucky with the second years.
Speaking of whom, she really hoped the second years would show up ready and enthusiastic to help. That, after all, was why she was here. As a half-blood, she'd heard of the on-going pandemic from her muggle father, who was, for the moment, safe. But she did have older muggle grandparents that she worried about, even if they were tucked away in Arisaig. If there was anything the magical world could do to help the muggles, Ruthie was determined to do it. The variety of tasks associated with the Grand Pepper-Up Potion seemed like an excellent way for Hogwarts to help and she was sure the students would be up to the task.
She waited eagerly in the Headmaster's office for the second years to trickle in. It was a place she'd never visited before, and it felt kind of ominous with Lear missing, but she tried to brighten it up as best as she could. She had placed some flowers on the window sill, but what students probably cared most about where the stack of chocolate frogs that sat on a low table beneath the flowers. That was okay; help came in all forms.
As they came in, she would address them: "Okay, so for the second part of your task, you need to pick up one of these suitcases, fill it with Grand Pepper Up Potion, and use travel by floo powder to the Muggle Liasion Office in the Ministry." As she spoke, she gestured to the suitcases that laid up against the wall and a series of small bowls filled with a blackish-green powder that sat on a table near the fireplace. "For those that have never traveled by floo powder," she explained, running her hands through the powder, "you just want to pick some up, step in the fireplace, and throw the powder down as you say the name of the place you wish to go to. Just speak very clearly when you do it. I'll be here when you get back and you can have your chocolate frogs then."
And with a smile, she would let them go off to London and back, off to save the world.
As a reminder, to complete this task, you need two posts: one here and one in the Muggle Liaison Office. Each of these needs to be at least 400 words. Please note your word count in your posts, thank you!
