On January 12th, 2008, Allison was born in Canada to Aubin Wofford and Ramira Barrios-Wofford. As a child she was quite spontaneous and got into more than a handful of trouble because she couldn't sit still, but her charm outweighed the trouble most of the time. She was raised along with her older sister Karen and her younger sister Jenna.
Karen, who's fifteen, is someone who she looks up strongly to because of her perseverance and dedication. She works hard towards her goals and expects nothing less than the best in anyone, always pushing her sisters so they'll grow into strong women. Jeanne, nine, is the passive sister who has an extraordinary intelligence and imagination but her insecurities hold her back. She's often overcomed by self-doubt and fear of people, always considering the worst rather than anything else. Her sisters protect her relentlessly despite her usually irritating weakness because they believe in her, just as the believe in themselves and everyone else.
When Allison was four years old her father passed away. She doesn't speak of how, she'd rather push the thought to the back of her mind, but the impact was so detrimental that her mother broke mentally. Authorities didn't think she was deemed fit to take care of her children so Allison and her sisters were sent to live with their father's brother, Salomon, in Colburn, England, where they live currently. It was very hard at first but their uncle made sure to occupy their minds with as many things as possible, challenging them to think hard and to push past their supposed limits in sports, competitions, and school. Still, the death of their father and the lost of their mother left a deep impact on their lives.
In school Allison pushed herself to be better than others, always desiring to come out first. Sometimes her stubbornness landed her into fights, physically and mentally, but she was taught to never give up. She began taking higher-classes because of her academic achievements; inturn, she was exposed to students older than her and tried to act as mature as them. Although she tries to carry this seriousness Allison is very playful and thrill-seeking at heart, which landed her many friends.
While her sister Karen was sorted in Gryffindor, like their mother, Allison was sorted into Slytherin. Their father had been a Hufflepuff, carrying the same exuberant traits that she now possesses yet suppresses. Allison doesn't really understand why she was sorted in Slytherin, even though her uncle is an alumni of it, but she loves her house regardless, and will live up to it's name until the end.
Not long after her tenth birthday was when she experienced a peculiar event—surprise, she was the cause. She was at a sleepover with muggles and the host decided to light candles in the bathroom to relive the time when she met a fortune-teller. Allison began to daydream about something that involved candles and as a result the candles in the room began to float in the air. Luckily the children had a vivid imagination, or maybe because it was close to Halloween, so they weren't at all traumatized by the event, but they never remembered what happened at all so the ministry officials just gave Allison a friendly warning that she needed to begin focusing on controlling her magic, especially around those who couldn't know of it.
