I'd send a very friendly owl to that person! Especially if you know them. If there's something cool about that person's ency, feel free to compliment them before you hit em with the BUT...

Literally, "I was looking at your ency, it's totally cool & you've put a lot of work into it, but I noticed (insert problem here). Just wanted to bring to your attention that (so-and-so) requested credit for that coding."

No threats, no hints of threats, give them a fortnight or a month to fix it (depending on how active they are). It could be an oversight or a bit of forgetfulness. I find it's best to assume the best about people. If they don't take your hint, then quietly owl that persons HoH or one of their Prefects.
