For reasons Rafa can't share [to anyone, for any reason], the young Gryffindor needs to get more familiar with the English language. Specifically the accent and lingo. His vocals have always been…. More distinguished…. Between the members of the school. If he has any hope for maintaining anonymity If he wants to fit in better among his peers, he'll have to find and learn the social norms. Accent included. But how will he ask? Who will teach him? And will they keep their trap shut?

Your RPG storyline idea : Gossip, drama, he-said-she-said, spying, influencing, or covering up. Flash likes all of these greatly as long as he doesn't have to get his hands dirty. Also, any adventure, no matter the risk, as long as it raises his reputation. He is also willing to help anyone in need, so long as it doesn't hurt his reputation.

Person A
House Preference: None
Year: First

Person A and Ross meet in the library. Ross asks many questions out of pure curiosity of SOMETHING, of your choice of course, about Person A. Either that or they say something somewhat offensive by accident without checking what they are saying. Person A, for some reason of your choice, is not a fan of this and ends up saying something that manages to make Ross either uncomfortable or upset. They've gotten off on the wrong foot and start to work on their homework silently. One or the other notices they're struggling with Homework. (Ross struggles at potions and History, but excels in Charms and Transfiguration). They ask if they need help, and they end up assisting each other. They leave not on good terms, but certainly not on bad terms either. They end up meeting a couple more times to assist each other with homework, to the point they probably can call each other friends. They conflict in many ways, but work together nonetheless. This is the VERY BEGINNING of a friend group.

Additional info: This won't be as boring as it looks! It won't just be talking about homework, i just wanted to get the basic general info down. it'd take place over multiple RPs.



Person B
House Preference: None
Year: First

Ross has a rather friendly introduction to Person B. They meet by the Great Lake. Both had gone out for what they assumed would be alone time, but bumped into each other instead by accident. One could not simply leave, as it would make things rather awkward. On the other hand, talking to them would be awkward too. Even so, sitting in silence would be weird. Ross ends up breaking the ice and asking what is wrong. Person B explains how they're homesick, or something along those lines. Ross explains how he is not exactly homesick, but he understands the feeling. They go back and fourth opening up, as nobody is nearby. By the end, they realize they have much more in common than they had originally assumed. Though they originally agreed to not talk of it again, they still find themselves talking frequently of their lives.

Person B at some point meets Person A. They end up getting along with them quite well, of course if the owner of Person B or Person A decides that is okay is all! Again, I really do not wish for this to be really bland, so i'm totally fine if you guys talk about this.

Additional info: there is a lot more to this role! You can totally change this if you want. It is really a lot more of a set up than anything else.



Person C
House Preference: None
Year: First

Person C is some form of joker. They do not have to consistently be like this, but have them certainly willing to take a joke. One day, they go around the school pulling pranks on people (probably in the Great hall or on Grounds) Depending on who they are, these pranks can either be simple or really rough. At some point, they encounter Ross and decide to pull a prank on him. Ross declares he wants in, and Person C lets them in. Ross takes them to Person B and Person A, and they decide to prank them. Both decide they want in, and they go around deciding to pull pranks on other people. At this point onward, they become a group of friends of sorts.

Additional info: This character can be taken in multiple different ways, so don't think any of the pranks are supposed to be mean if you don't want them to be! There is a reason this is so vague, and it is so you can take it up to your own interpretation!



Person D
House Preference: None
Year: First

This person is a gossip obsessive. Not exactly a mean person, but they love to whisper of other people's deals. Somehow, they find out one of the secrets of one of people prior listed including Ross. We can discuss what this may be, but basically they have this secret now. Person A is likely uncomfortable with this, because as mentioned before they don't like much being known about them by strangers. One of the people above decides to confront them on the fact they know the secret in the corridors. They're hesitant to say they'll keep it a secret until one of them mentions they'll give them a favor later that can be discussed and also lead to a plot line. At this point, they agree.

Additional info: As mentioned above, This is VERY vague on purpose. They just need to have an interest in drama, as most kids do. Nothing much more.



Person E
House Preference: None
Year: First

This is just an empty slot, actually. I'm completely willing to fill out a thing for this, but I want to make sure at least one person is interested! As long as your character has flaws and a personality that is not too basic, i can easily write up a possible plot for them! It's a friend group, and I'm sure I'm missing something.

A plot idea

One of the first plots I was considering with these 4 - 5 people is one of them messing up a spell or a potion. This was going to originally belong to Person A, but I seriously would enjoy this a lot in a group setting too.

Basically, Ross or someone else would mess up a spell (likely outdoors) and the others have to clean up the mess. This would likely be Lumos, and involve one concentrating too hard. This would cause something to burst into flames after they drop the wand. They all have to assist in putting out the fire, or something along those lines. Perhaps it could also be the levitating charm as well, where one would cast something on their own clothes. There is a lot we could do with this, and I think it would be an interesting attempt! There is a lot more i have planned of course

EXTRA INFO

I'm looking for more than just characters. I'm looking for a group of people I can genuinely plan things out with. People that have ideas too, and want to contribute and help set up a plot. You have to be thinking long term for this, so it's a bit of a commitment. I really hope we can just make a group of 11 year olds who have an idea for a future for themselves, and want to work together to have fun in first year. It's okay to be busy, just make time for the occasional response once every week or so.

House Preference: I don't have any, but if I did it would probably be Gryffindor.

Storyline: So far, if not everyone he's met then most, are warm and somewhat welcoming. I want to spice that up and introduce a rival or frenemy. To do that, the other character would have to be annoying (to Sen) in some way, mainly loud and outgoing.

Information: Sen is quiet, not really shy but can get awkward easily. He is reclusive, but also curious and, though he won't admit it, prideful. He agrees with the concept of equivalent exchange but doesn't believe in its application to real life. His current self doesn't destest humanity, but does very much dislike it, but questions why it's so messed up.

Please note that the point of this is for Sen to meet someone that can give him a fresh perspective and challenge his ideals through actions (eg. Helping a bullied student or something) I know I said I wanted a frenemy/rival, but it's really just another character showing their perspective, possibly making Sen dislike them for one reason or another.

storyline : i’d like to start with just getting some relationships, whether positive or negative, but i love a good brainstorming. if you have a plot you’ve been wanting to try i’d love to see if it’s something i’m interested in! i will say that i’m steering away from romance (y’all this kid is eleven she’s a baby).
additional : i’m a pretty experienced roleplayer, and i can hit 200 words confidently. i sometimes take an hour or two to respond, or longer if i’m asleep or busy, but like ... c’mon. i’m really looking for roleplayers who are comfortable with hitting 200 words and can give me something to go off, but you should also know that if you write a full novel i may not respond with the same word count.
