So for Genshin Impact its a gacha game,
to unlock characters, u have to go to their character shop and basically buy i think what they call is fates? and you put it into a "banner" (which is either a standard one where its a set of characters all the time or an event banner which is a set of character that only appears for the month) and hope that your luck is good, if your lucky you'll get a 5 star event character, if not u get a 5 star event character.
There is something called soft pity, which means after 50 or so rolls, ur chance will increase, and by the 70-80ish rolls, its a guarantee 5 star character, if you only get the standard one then your next one is a guarantee event one (if your using the event banner).

i think some of them ye! tho they are all 4 stars (and its only a few, like maybe two? I only played up to the dendra archon)
