You can actually get your Patronus in fourth year now if you purchase the Patronus spell.

But lowk though, I'm not really going to have a use for the patronus other than for "showoffy" purposes because. (1) We aren't ever going up against lethifolds or dementors (and if we do, it's unlikely due to how dangerous they are and how you'd realistically die or whatever, idk), (2) There often isn't a situation that calls for patronus. But I do greatly appreciate the fact that we brought it down from 6th to 4th! That gives fourth years the ability to write something fun if they want to!

Oh cool! Also I have a very specific patronus and meaning in mind for Lotus Because he's either going to work with the dragons or something against the dark arts

NVM NVM I was mixing the restriction with animagus (animagus and patronus confuse me often when I think about prereqs and restrictions. Basically patronuses do no damages but you in your animagus form will, one requires changing your body (which Metamorph can already do) while the other is just a spell cast.)

I miss getting to upgrade potions/spells after graduating to a new year but I know the classes have gotten easier. I need to do some of them - after I finish off my OWLs
