Astor is a big family that always involves planting, herbology, and magical beasts in the line of work. Skylar has two older sisters, Azalea and Hailey. They are twins who were already in their third year at Hogwarts, and all of the family members were in the Hufflepuff house.
The Astor manor located at London, England. It has a medium-yard outside and the big gardens on the inside. Her parents are barely at home because of work, so she used to run around the house, play alone in the gardens, and get lost like Alice in Wonderland. But Baxter, the house elf, always found her even when she was hiding from him. He may treat her with a harsh word, but takes care of the house perfectly.
Skylar’s only friends are the tree and the plants, and her aunt, Amelia Astor. She never really fit in with the rest of the Astor family either. She was weird as Skylar who was too curious, too stubborn, too fascinated with things that shouldn’t be studied, while the rest of her relatives chose respectable wizarding careers in the Ministry or academia. Amelia and her husband, Professor Charles Astor, dedicated their lives to researching the Acromantula, intelligent spiders native to the Forbidden Forest.
At first, their work was legitimate, but her husband's obsession grew darker over time. Amelia didn’t share his obsession, but she loved him enough to follow. Their last expedition ended in tragedy. The Ministry raided their lab after rumors spread and found Charles was experimenting with breeding charms banned under the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.
Amelia tried to take the blame, but Charles confessed everything to spare her. He was sentenced to Azkaban for unlawful magical experimentation and use of forbidden materials from the Dark Arts. Amelia was released on probation, stripped of her researcher’s license, but free under Ministry watch.
She’s now chosen a quieter life, living away from the city, often spending time with her niece who reminds her of the days before everything fell apart. She loves to sending Skylar to bed with stories from her ancestors’ book. Even though, their homeland are not sure, but they were definitely Irish-Americans who love to traveled all around the world and had many exciting stories.
Amelia knows that mysterious places, odd creatures, and strange languages can ignite the spark in Skylar's eyes, so she has been telling her tale to Skylar until the present day, and a girl never gets tired of hearing it. Now, she is even more alone and feel more like a fish out of water than ever she does.

When she was 5 years old, she received a present from her aunt. It is a flower pot with a beautiful young sprout. She was excited and suddenly slip dropped it on the ground. Before it went to break and hit her toe, she was scared and accidentally made the young sprout grow and break from the pot itself.

Character Backstory: Anthonie Christiaan Engelbrecht was born on the early morning of September 3rd, 2000, to Jacobus Engelbrecht and Elmarie Engelbrecht (née Wilde) and as the elder brother of Aneska, being two years her senior. With the current family patriarch being Anthonie’s grandfather and his namesake, Christiaan, the Engelbrecht family is treated with prestige among South African pureblood circles. However, they were unconventional and considered to be radicals, both in their ideologies of blood purity and their behaviours. And such thoughts were what Anthonie was raised on.
Jacobus worked as a professor while Elmarie was a lawyer. Both loved Anthonie dearly and treated him as the heir to his family. There was no doubt they groomed him into the person he was today, a young man carefully curated to carry on the Engelbrecht name. Yet there was genuine care beneath the tailored suits and specialised programmes, sometimes simply lacking a proper way of expression. Aneska, still being a student, is the closest to Anthonie among his family members. Blessed to have a sibling, of course there existed the love-hate rivalry that was inevitable among them, yet it was no question that Anthonie would take a bullet for her. Anthonie also has a crup since childhood by the name of Sonnetjie.
He was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and still lives there as his permanent address. Anthonie resides in the family manor in the countryside just outside the city.
Being an educator himself, Jacobus saw to it that Anthonie and his sister were told by the best of instructors. Before being sent to Uagadou and later to Hogwarts, Anthonie had private tutors for his subjects, which included aspects such as languages, magic theory, natural sciences, and others. Elmarie, on the other hand, oversaw his practical and social skills, signing him up for volunteering projects and pureblood gatherings. Due to his mother’s networking, Anthonie was never devoid of friends and playmates as a child. This outwardness carried into his schooling, leading to prominent friendships that developed easily.
Anthonie spent his public education at Uagadou. There, he was an overachiever. This extended far beyond an academic statement, for not only did he score high grades, but was also on sports teams and showed himself in various unofficial clubs. This, however, never meant he was a perfect student. After all, troublemaking and rebellion seemed to run in the family.
Shortly after Anthonie’s graduation, Christiaan passed away, plunging the family into chaos after the sudden death. Although Anthonie originally intended to return to his home country to pursue a career in law, his parents agreed that it would be better for him to step away for a bit to not get caught up in the family drama. Anthonie applied for a teaching position at Uagadou and in the autumn of 2025, was promoted to headmaster, much to his surprise.

Natasha was born on 18th May 2014 to Durga and Blake Jones. She has an older brother, Charlie, who is a squib. Natasha has always been a happy, fun-loving girl, who can be incredibly thoughtful/preceptive at times. She is stubborn about doing something once she sets her mind to it, but can get angry very easily. She was 7 years old when her parents told her and Charlie about magic. They waited this long as Charlie never showed any accidental magic, so they never had a reason to tell Charlie as he might tell someone, but after Natasha's magic started getting stronger, they decided to tell both of them, to avoid any Muggle suspicion. Natasha is bilingual and can speak, read and write both English and Hindi. Her favorite color is black, and her lucky number is 13. People often question her about her favorite color, as she has quite a colorful personality, but she always replies, "So what, Black is also a color only, no?". She is also aware that most people find the number 13 unlucky, and has no idea why she finds it lucky, she just does. When she got her Hogwarts letter on her 11th birthday, she was extremely excited, and Blake, Durga and Charlie were all proud of her. She was however, sad about leaving Gary (her childhood best friend and muggle) without any explanation.

A 4-year old Natasha's cookie was stolen by Charlie, who was being unnecessarily mean and running around the room. Soon, Natasha started crying and getting angry. She REALLY wanted that cookie. Her parents came in to check the commotion just in time to see the cookie fly out of Charlie's hand and towards Natasha, Both children were shocked and surprised and their parents explained magic to both of them. They hadn't done so before as they realized that Charlie hadn't inherited any magical abilities, and they didn't want the kids to tell any muggles as they were too young to know better.

Cane Gordon was born on 27th February 2014, and grew up in Southwater, West Sussex, in a home that balanced magic and muggle life in equal measure. At 11 years old, he’s quiet, thoughtful, and observant. He is the sort of kid who prefers to listen before speaking, and who’s always working something out in his head, whether it’s a puzzle, a story idea, or the next move in one of his made-up games.
He’s lean and a bit athletic, mostly from spending hours outside climbing trees, running through the woods, or just kicking a ball around. He doesn’t care much for fancy clothes, he will choose comfort every time.
Cane’s family is as blended as it gets. His dad, Albert, is a muggle from Scotland. He is the kind who proudly drinks Irn-Bru, eats haggis, and can name every player on the Montrose Magpies Quidditch team despite not having a drop of magic in him. Albert’s brother, Gregor, is a wizard and former Hufflepuff, and thanks to him, magic has always been on the edges of the Gordon family’s life, even before Cane was born.
Though Albert has no magic of his own, he’s made it a point to be fully involved in that side of the family’s life. He uses a very particular set of glasses to read the Daily Prophet (the moving pictures used to make him dizzy) and listens to Quidditch matches on a magical radio that Cane’s mum “just happened to buy”. It had nothing to do with the fact she was tired of hearing BBC Sussex every morning.
Cane’s mum, Lizzy, is a witch and a Ravenclaw who now works as an Auror in magical law enforcement. Clever, determined, and always two steps ahead, she’s a firm believer that magic doesn’t make anyone better than anyone else. This is a lesson she makes sure Cane and his younger sister, Alyx, understand well. She supports the Holyhead Harpies, a fact that often sparks loud (but playful) arguments in the house whenever her team faces off against Albert and Cane’s beloved Magpies.
Cane looks up to his mum, and although he wouldn’t admit it out loud (yet), part of him dreams of becoming an Auror too. That's if he can manage the grades.
The Gordon home is warm, lived-in, and full of personality. It's a comfortable, medium-sized house that somehow fits both Muggle technology and magical oddities without either feeling out of place.
Weekends might mean a family trip to a museum or a football match, or just as easily a magical event like a live Quidditch game (though it’s always a Harpies match, courtesy of Mum, not that anyone complains too much).

Zion is the son of Thomas and Vivian Davis. Thomas made a living as a car mechanic living in Detroit while Vivian worked diligently as a registered nurse. The two raised Zion with love, strength, and wisdom, making sure the boy was raised to stand up for himself while also being a decent human being.
A big opportunity overseas had Thomas open a successful mechanic business in Manchester. Vivian also, soon after became the Head Nurse of a local Manchester hospital. In a slight act of rebellion against his parents for making him leave everything he loved, Zion made no effort to make new friends in his new home. With his parents busier with work, Zion often just lifted weights at home or went to the local park to play basketball with strangers. Being around majority Black Americans growing up, Zion struggled to adjust well to a new culture where even people that looked like him seemed to have a hard time understanding his way of thinking. Things became complicated when he learned of his magic origins. When Thomas and Vivian learned of their boy's magic blood, they were worried at first but quickly became supportive. Zion however was not excited to be in a place he knew so little about. Hogwarts brought no excitement to the boy, for all he wanted was to be back in Detroit.

In a slight act of rebellion against his parents for making him leave everything he loved, Zion made no effort to make new friends in his new home. With his parents busier with work, Zion often just lifted weights at home or went to the local park to play basketball with strangers. Being around majority Black Americans growing up, Zion struggled to adjust well to a new culture where even people that looked like him seemed to have a hard time understanding his way of thinking. Things became complicated when he learned of his magic origins. When Thomas and Vivian learned of their boy's magic blood, they were worried at first but quickly became supportive. Zion however was not excited to be in a place he knew so little about. Hogwarts brought no excitement to the boy, for all he wanted was to be back in Detroit.

Sienna was born 17th May of 2014 in Melrose, Scotland to her father Edwin Miller who is a British wizard from the wild coast of Cornwall, and her mother Jo Miller who is a Muggle historian from New York with an unshakable fascination for myth and folklore. Their meeting had been a fortunate accident — or, as Edwin liked to say, the inevitable pull of destiny. Both of them had been immersing themselves in the roots of ancient European legends, unearthing stories, among others, of dragons, fae, and lost kingdoms. Very soon, what had been merely academic collaboration turned into the time of the day when they could argue over tea and parchment maps, neither getting the fact that the other’s “legends” might be just that … words. Once the truth was out, instead of fear, they got fascinated; Jo’s academic curiosity was at par with Edwin’s and with that they embarked on a journey which was a fragile balance of two different worlds.
The way Sienna was brought up was that her mum and dad were two different complements of one whole nature, historians who, in turn, were wizards at history. While the mother stocked the house with dusty tomes, and artifacts, and hand-drawn family trees linking forgotten things to the reality, father’s room was filled with enchanted atlases that could be read by opening them as they whispered the stories.

By seven, the unthinkable happened while was on holiday in cornwall with her family they were laughing and having fun, and then she accidentally brought a family photo to life. One moment, the picture showed everyone smiling stiffly on the beach; the next, the figures in the photograph began to move, waving and laughing as the sea breeze seemed to spill out of the frame.

ReducioLuka was born and brought up in one of the strict Pure-blood families in Queensbury, England. His parents, Ivan and Anya Egorov belonged to some old Russian wizarding families and services were with the Ministry of Magic. Being a purist in Pure-blood, he had absolutely no chance to be part of the Muggle world. He didn’t go to school, his whole universe was his family’s manor and the colossal library within it. His "lessons" were more like manners and history of the wizarding families rather any "use" of magic.
He has appropriate relations with parents but not as open as parents would have. They are fond of him but have laid the world at his feet as their only heir to carry on the family name. Most of the time it’s baring expectations rather than love.
Being brought up in isolation, he never got to learn the art of making friends. His "parties" were nothing more than old-fashioned tea-drinking occasions with other Pure-blood families, most of the children being as stuffy and close-mouthed as their parents. His taciturn habits and odd looks kept it hard for them to strike up a conversation with him. His only real, constant companion had been an aged tortoiseshell cat named Matryoshka. So, his early years were easy enough but pretty much cheerless, for the most part with books and cat for company.

ReducioLuka’s other first magical incident he was on when he was four and completely by accident. He’d been playing alone in the garden, trying to get his cat Matryoshka to come to him, she was laying scrunched up sunning herself under a tree..lazy cat. He waved his hand in her direction, frustrated at the cat’s laziness, and though: "Come here!"
In a flash, a dry twig lying nearby on the ground leaped into the air, tapping Matryoshka lightly on the rump. She gave a jump, and "Meow!" and shot straight at him, just as he had intended. At that moment Lukas chuckled, imagining he made a fortunate toss. He had no idea that it was irritation and a subconscious wish that had lifted the twig in the first place. Magic came and went within the twinkling of an eye, leaving behind nothing save a small boy pleased with himself and a somewhat bewildered cat.

FIOM:I once shrunk one of my siblings hats as it burst into flames by accident when I was having conflicting emotions during an argument with one of my siblings when I first found out that I had wizarding powers and I was aware I had powers but my family wasn’t aware of my powers until they first saw it they weren’t even mad at me at all I was around the age of 8 or 9 when it happened I used magic unintentionally by accident not meaning for it to come out I didn’t plan on it coming out it just happened out of the blue I felt bad about it but no one in my family was mad at me for it then a rainbow appeared out of nowhere too I don’t know how it even happened it just happened.

Eden is a sensitive child. She is very joyful and to this day, it is still unclear why the sorting hat would sort her into the Slytherin house. As she will grow up, she will evolve in an unexpected way. She will find great interests in classes that are less cartesian, such as divination and the study of ancient runes. She is an intuitive child and this trait will only grow to be a bigger part of her personality. She will find comfort in this side of her, and rely on it very often. This will guide her through life, especially as a teenager and young adult. This magical trait will become a great part of her identity as an adult, although she probably will not try to get a job as a seer. I doubt she will even openly say that she is one, as she will prefer to use it in private, for her own benefits. In the end, her being sorted in Slytherin is the most natural thing in the world and goes so well with her magical talent. Both elements of her story are complementary, and critical for her to become the witch she is destined to be.
This magical talent comes from her great-grand-mother on her father's side of the family, and from her grand-mother on her mother's side as well. It is not something that is well-known in the family, because most of them would simply not understand.
Eden's great-grand-mother, who is the mother of Eden's father's father, was a seer. She was highly misunderstood by her husband and her son, who considered her very eccentric and out of the reality of the world. My name is Eden Hazel Byrne. I am the third and last child of our family, and the last one to go to school at Hogwarts. My parents, Grayson and Cara, told me so many stories about this place, that it feels like I’ve already been there. My older siblings don’t talk much about it, at least not in a way I can understand. Ehan is the oldest: he is 16 years old and in 6th year in Hogwarts. Eunice is 14, studying in 4th year. Actually, we aren’t that close, so they just don’t tell me much at all. Maybe because they are so much older than me? It’s okay! Growing up, I could always count on my loving parents and on Maglee, the house-elf who works at our place. Sometimes I spend time with Seraph, my parents’ owl, but it scares me a little.
I learned the basis of different topics, such as numeracy, natural and social history so I feel ready to go to Hogwarts and I can’t wait! Mom taught us all at home. She used to be a private tutor and stopped working to raise us three. I think she will start working again once I leave for school. My dad works in a publishing agency as an editor. My first instance of magic happened when I was 7. I wanted to play with my siblings, whom brushed me off as usual. I am quite used to it since we were never close. But somehow, I felt sad, lonely and angry. As I let my frustration explode, the glasses on the tables cracked immediately. Everyone stayed quiet for a second, and my parents came to congratulate me, and to explain what happened.
