i think part of it is that both scout and zyair are easy characters to write for~ maybe it's just because im their creator so therefor i know everything about them (mwahaha) but i feel like responses and thoughts configured by them come naturally 2 me lol
scout is an extension of myself and how i was when i was younger, so her sudden bursts of emotions or flickering feelings r easy to write because thats how i felt when i was her age!!! and zyair was written to be "what scout needs", so by proxy what i thought i needed when i was a kid lolol

but it also helps when ur writing with ur friends and theyve got fun characters and scenarios to bounce off of!!!

And yeah, friends are always fun to write with! they make everything more clear and solos are just hard

They really are! This summer Lya and I will hopefully get to work together on more lore about Avery's crazy family problems!

That idea had been brewing ever since Casey was first approved. In a way, I guess you could call it his raison d'étre. If it doesn't work out, it practically goes against a good chunk of what's written in Casey's backstory and nearly every thread that's got to do with Casey himself.

I'm not prepared to go through a whole series of retcons and rewrites if the idea comes back as a thumbs down. I don't mind altering it slightly to suit the site universe its contained in, but then again... This has been inspired and drafted by a franchise that's notorious for its MC being protected by plot armour
