Strength:8
Wisdom: 2
Arcane Power:3
Accuracy: 8.
Race/Talent: no!
Story:
Born in London on March 15th 2014 at 2:40 am as a muggle-born, Archie didn't really know of magic, his younger days were spent playing around in free grass and a wide home, bothering his loving parents Delia and Hunter Hyde and was a only child but enjoyed play-dates with his cousins from his father's side of the family Jack and Emily. He had (and still has) a good family life, and thinks about his parents at night before bed. Due to his talkative nature, he had a massive friend group, including his best friend Rowan, and Rowan's sister Ella. He still misses them occasionally but can't wait to start this new chapter. Because of where he was brought up, Archie uses informal terms most of the time and dislikes the idea of being 'posh and proper'. Archie is in interested in crochet and writing but didn't think he could bring the tools to a magical school, he didn't really know what to expect from something with living paintings and owls delivering the post (if you ask him, that's kinda weird).
Archie didn't really understand the concept of 'wizards' with waving wands and pointy hats when the teacher showed up at his family's front door, but apparently he is one..and also a badger, according to that weird hat over there? Why a badger of all animals?
He went to a normal school before his admittance, nothing too fancy (which was right up Archie's street)
First Instance of Magic: 6 year old Archie had accidentally broken his mother's favourite vase when playing outside, his small brow creased in worry and tears started to bubble up in his green eyes..he had turned his back to wipe his eyes..and suddenly the vase started to repair itself? The boy ran inside, thinking he was having a weird dream.
School year or Adult level: First year student.

- Please include Archie's FIOM in the index application.
- We no longer require spells and potions to be in the trunk post, please remove this from the post and make a separate post if you wish.
- For a first year human, your total stat points must equal to 35, they currently equal to 27, please amend this.
STATUS: Pending, Jake, 27th September
Hi Archie, thank you for your edits so far.
1. Your stats have been updated but they now equal 30 - as a first year human, they should equal 35.
2. Please include at least 220 words of backstory, not including the first instance of magic. Please update that here and in your trunk, as those backstories should match. You can tell us more about his life, or tell us about his family, or about what happened when he learned he was magic - anything you'd like!
STATUS: Pending -- Ophelia, 01 October
Thank you for your continued edits, Archie! Your stats now add up to 33, but they should equal 35 as a first year human.

Talent/Race: Prodigal Herbology learner
Born on August 8, 2014 to Ammon Kahotep and Bahiti Kahotep in Dedham, England. Kafelé was born with a gentic mutation that made his hair void of pigment. This mutation caused his hair to be white from birth on into his childhood. When he was born his family held a private celebration after making it home from the hospital. They were still new to the area and hadnt made any friends yet to share the occation with.
Growing up even in his toddler years little Kafelé would never harm a fly. Always careful not to step on bugs in the garden and once he was old enough to, feeding the neighborhood strays. He was a kind child but his awkwardness towards social situations and white hair got him bullied on several occations by other kids. His mother Bahiti would always try to teach him about forgivness and his father Ammon would try to lighten the mood with his terrible jokes.
Kafelé was always fascinated by his parents careers as well. Part of his love for animals coming from his Mothers Vetenary career. His love for plants grew from his facination with the potion ingredients in the shop his father worked at. His enthusiasm hadn't gone unnoticed by his parents however. They decided to support his interests with a few books on plants and local wildlife. Kafelé would often take to the woods with the knowledge from his books and had a journal recording the things he would find in the woods.
After Kafelé discovered he was a wizard and recieved his letter he became extremely excited about going to Hogwarts. Although his nervousness was just as palpable as his excitement. He was especially excited to learn more about magical plants and animals.
First instance of magic: Around age 8 Kafelé was out playing on the edge of town. A group of bullies approached him and began poking fun at him knocking his cap off revealing his white hair. The bullies began making fun of his hair calling him names. In a fit of frustration he screams and the boys are blown back onto their butts. Frightened by what happened Kafelé runs home to his parents. When he arrived home he told his parents why he was afraid. His father celebrated the news that his son was a wizard, while his mother reminded him the importance of forgiveness and restraint.

Backstory:
Angel was born on October 6th into a magical family in Dublin Ireland. Her parents would often tell her all about their time at Hogwarts, which would always intrigue her. Taking after her parents, she had a great passion for both learning and adventures. When she was able to read, she would pick up a book and read for hours. she loved learning new things and always wanted to know more, especially with magic, and when she turned six years old and she developed her abilities, she was excited for the day she would be able to go to Hogwarts and start her own journey. When she turned 11 years old and got her acceptance letter, she was excited she would get to experience Hogwarts for herself. She had been amazed by the stories she heard and wanted to learn more of her magical abilities, make new friends, and make memories of her own she could share with people and do the very best she can be. She also hoped to follow in her parents' footsteps and be an Aurora to be able to help people and do good things. She was always both passionate about learning new things and had a very bubbly personality when she got her letter she had also been given her dads gobstones set as a comfort tool.
First Instance of Magic
When Angel was only six years old, she was quietly sitting in her room playing with her toys when she had a weird feeling she looked and not one of her blocks was levitating above the ground and knowing what that meant she run to her parents and told her what had happened that she had gotten her powers. Excitement was bubbling up already she was so excited for whatever came her way.

I am a 5'0 boy. I have a lean and simple body with a bit of muscles. I have black pearl like eyes with black hair. My skin is a bit brown like tan and my hair is silky and smooth.
I am very well mannered and smart. I am also a responsible with a high intellect. I am a extroverted person and prefer to make good friends. I am also a confident and well spoken person who believes in morals and priciples. I might have some bad things like anger issues as well. I can be witty and smart mouthed sometimes as well. I also have a teasing and roasting sense of humour which can often hurt people's feelings as well which I prefer not to use too often.
I am actually a half-blood. My father is a wizard while my mom is a muggle. My father worked in the Misuse of Muggle Artifects office and he met my mom in a research. Soon they fell in love, got married and had me. I have a very happy household where I already knew that I was wizard and my dad always told me about Hogwarts and how I will go their. I have always been very excited to go t Hogwarts. My family is a well-to-do family in both the magical world and muggle world.

Yash was 8, when the first incident of magic happened with him. Yash had a small friend group of 6 firends amoung whom, a particular boy never like Yash. He was always pushing and bullying Yash, despite not having a good control on his anger, Yash never said anything. On the 8th birthday, Yash was very excited. His mother espically baked and decorated a cake for him which is was showing to everyone proudly. During this time also, the boy was trying to push and bully Yash. To irritate Yash, the boy knocked the cake intentionally. As the cake was falling, Yash just closed this eyes in horror and out streched his arm. For a few minutes, when he didn't heard any thing, he slowly but hestiantly opened his eyes and saw that the cake was floating exactly where his hand was out streched. Before he could react or do something, his father shouted in excitement which scared him and cake fell followed by him getting fainted. The cake was still ruined but he got to know something new about himself. Later, his dad told him about the magic and how he just used magic but till date, he couldn't figure whether it was because of exhaustion or the horror, or the overwhelming amusment of witnessing magic by himself. Later, at the age of 11, he received his letter of Hogwarts.

- Please ensure that your backstory in your application and in your encyclopedia match 1:1. They currently do not.
- Your FIOM reads a bit too intentional with the cake following the movements of hand. Please make edits. First Instance Of Magic is unintentional and is mostly out of control for all.

Backstory:
ReducioClodagh was born and raised in a lovely muggle town in Ireland and lived with her family towards the suburbs of the area. She was taught at a muggle Irish school as to not raise any suspicion to the magical family. Clodagh had always been a quiet child, between trying to avoid conversations and preferring to stay in her room painting, you would probably call her an introvert. Now, she did have that odd connection with someone, which caused her to be very chatty when that person was around, her father and older brothers in particular. She had always been a good child, doing what she was asked and sometimes extra, but her mother seemed to get irritated with her quietness. Because of this she started to call out on her more, making Clodagh feel uncomfortable and put on the spot, a drift soon happened between the mother and daughter, seemingly making family dinners awkward. Clodagh had always been known for being to soft on people, which caused her to allow others to walk over her. Because of this softness she had, there weren’t many people she would call her friends, all but one girl called Síofra. The two girls had clicked together when they met, whether it being because both fathers were close or the fact that they had many similarities including art. When she received her Hogwarts letter Clodagh was beyond ecstatic but also felt sorrow, knowing she would have to leave Síofra behind. But as she was about to begin her new chapter in life, an excitement she had never experienced before, filled Clodagh up.
First instance of magic:
ReducioClodagh showed no signs of magic throughout the first few years of her life. After her ninth birthday, she and her family began to assume she was a squib. Disappointed, Clodagh began to separate herself from her family, knowing it wouldn’t take long for jealousy of the rest of the family to overtake her. One day, when Clodagh decided to take a walk out the backfield, she heard giggles from behind her. But when she had turned around and seen no one there, she began to believe it was her paranoia taken a toll of her. She tried to keep walking, pushing the thoughts that someone was following her to the back of her mind, key word being tried. Clodagh had finally had enough when there was a loud burst of laughter followed by a ‘shut-up’. She had recognised her sister’s voice straight away, to say Clodagh was peeved was an understatement. When her sister and her sister’s friend finally decided to come into view, Clodagh finally reaching her breaking point began shouting and pushing her sister, asking why they were following and if they did it just to have a laugh. When the friend finally spoke up, saying how at least they could go to Hogwarts, she finally lost it and let the rest of her frustration out. Clodagh only stopped ranting when the other two girls were pushed back by an invisible force, something that had frightened her at first. As realisation finally hit her, she began running towards home, excited to share the news with the rest of her family.

Biography
Reducio
Aisling was born to two museum curators, Aoife and Michael Doyle, in Limerick, Ireland, on the 10th of December in 2013. Being an only child to busy parents, she often cured her boredom by adventuring around the city. These explorations were often unsupervised, which sometimes got Aisling into trouble since she would find herself in places and situations she probably shouldn't have been. These adventures (and misadventures) opened her to the beauties of the natural and manmade world. And she made it her goal to learn as much as she could about the world around her, especially the little bit of wildlife and flora she did see in her urban community. She loved wildlife so much that she asked her parents to have a pet for three Christmases straight prior to her realizing she was a witch (it was unfortunately never fulfilled because there was no room in their apartment). In fact, before it came to light that Aisling was a witch, she wanted to grow up to be a veterinarian. Aoife and Michael loved that their daughter loved to learn and was always curious about the world around her. Before they realized she was a witch, they had begun to save enough money for Aisling to attend Trinity College after grade school because they knew she would succeed in and enjoy academics.
First Instance of Magic
Reducio
The first instance of magic was when she was ten years old. Aisling was adventuring throughout Limerick when she came across a beautiful bluebird that caught her attention. She had never seen a bird so vividly blue before, and while she loved every animal, she loved birds most of all. When Aisling got close to it, meaning to only get a better look, other birds started flocking to her, as if she was a friend of theirs. Aisling even brought one of them, a baby owl, home with her. This was a shock to her father, who had no wizard blood in him whatsoever. After this incident, Aisling's mother informed her that she had a great-great grandmother on her side who was also a witch (Aisling was considered "Muggle-born" because her magical ancestry had become distant enough).

Biography

My mother was a Muggle and worked as a school teacher, while my father was a pure-blood wizard who held a steady job at the Ministry of Magic. Together, they created a warm, balanced home for me, even though they came from very different worlds. We lived in a decently large house, not enormous but still big enough to feel spacious for just the three of us. It stood in the middle of an open field, surrounded by patches of forest and hills, a bit of a distance away from Hogsmeade. The location often felt private and quiet, which gave our family a sense of peace, though at times it could feel a little isolated as well.
I was free to explore the outdoors whenever I wanted, and I spent countless hours running through the fields, climbing trees, and wandering deep into the forest. I often imagined the trees and animals were watching me, part of some secret magical world only I could see. Even before I knew much about magic, being surrounded by nature gave me a feeling of connection to something greater. Our home also had a few animals, both magical and non-magical, and I adored spending time with them.
Although the area was remote and there weren’t many children living nearby, I did manage to make a decent amount of friends from nearby villages or when my parents visited Hogsmeade. The friendships I had were meaningful, though most days I entertained myself with adventures outdoors or quiet evenings at home with my family. Despite the distance from larger wizarding communities, I never felt truly lonely. My parents always encouraged me to be curious, to ask questions, and to enjoy the small moments of life. Surrounded by family, nature, and the gentle rhythm of a quiet countryside home, I grew up feeling both content and adventurous, eager for the world beyond our fields.

I was 9 or 10 years old, running through the forest, feeling the wind rush past me as the sunlight flickered through the branches overhead. Everything felt so free and alive — until my foot caught on a tree stump. I pitched forward, tumbling down a hill. The hill was small but it had lots of branches and pinecones on it. By the time I landed at the bottom, my arms and knees were scratched and bruised, and the sting of pain brought tears to my eyes.
As I sat there crying, the bright, sunny sky above me began to shift into these darker clouds, casting a shape of the forest as it started it pour violently within a couple minutes. The harder I cried, the harsher the rain seemed to fall, as if the storm itself was tied to me.
It wasn’t until my parents found me, breathless and worried, and probably wondering what happened and where I’ve been that things began to change. My mother wrapped me in a cozy blanket, while my father knelt beside me, brushing the wet hair from my face. Slowly, I began to calm down. The storm eased, changing from a violent downpour to a soft sprinkle. My parents helped me to my feet and carried me back home.
There, my mother carefully cleaned my cuts while my father gave me a bit of potion to soothe the pain — and before my eyes, the bruises and scratches vanished. Just as the last of my tears dried, the clouds outside parted. Sunlight streamed back across the fields and trees, as if nothing had ever happened.

Character Special Race/Talent: None.
Character Backstory: Fire, born as Samuel Johnathan Davies, was the eldest child of the 5 children in his family. This included a set of triplets (One Oscar, Sun Silas, Bear Daniel) and the youngest sibling, one sister (Cloudy Amelia). Fire was raised in a muggle predominant based home lifestyle, of course there had been the occasional talk of magic from his father of wizarding ancestry, but besides that it wasn't often brought up and was just considered a daily part of life that wasn't meant to be talked about as he and the rest of his siblings went to regular muggle public schools. He grew up with technology, being able to play games with his classmates and neighbor's kids, going to silly family reunions for holidays without having to care much for magic or the magical world that coexisted with them.
His parents, enjoyed giving them strange little nicknames that just sort of stuck through out their lives and were unique to little situations that happened with each and every one of them. His mother is of course of muggle-born descent and 1/2 Japanese, and his father is pure-blood and English descent. They had met at a small quaint Cafe that his mother had worked, his father had frequented the place before boarding the train every morning. Something you would imagine was out of a storybook you would read, and now they remain happily married with their ups and downs, and range in the lower middle class. (250 w/c)
First Instance of Magic: You might be wondering where Fire's nickname came from when his name is actually Samuel, well it actually came from his first instance of magic. It had happened around the age of 5 years old when Fire had taken a small bag of popcorn outside on a hot summer day, to prove that if he waited long enough the sun's heat would pop the corn inside. But yet of course after an hour of waiting and being proven wrong, when confronted he got frustrated and the popcorn bursted into flames.

Character Backstory: January 2000. That was his birth month. He was the middle child in a family with five boys, one father and one mother. The Break household was always loud, as the boys all shouted, stomped, slammed doors, banged pots and pans together, punched one another, pulled cruel and evil pranks that Elmo would later be subjected to under bullying at Hogwarts. His siblings might not have always meant to hurt him growing up while they were doing things, stupid things. But they did. Elmo would often find himself being teased for crying much too easily, for finding interest in a book, for not fighting back!
His mother was always tired, and while she loved her sons, she didn’t have time to be soft. She wanted her boys to be strong, to listen and follow orders, to be silent. That didn’t really happen, not with her eldest two picking on Elmo. His father was a bit distant in the sense that he was more interested in his own work than he was his own children. Elmo later learned that it would be hard to get affection out of his father, no matter how badly he wanted it. Not even an ‘I love you.’ was uttered.
He shared a room with two of his brothers. They took his things, mocked his drawings and clothes and hair. Called him ugly and said he was a disappointment, that he was nothing more to the family than a bag full of trash that had yet to be taken out. When he turned eight, he stopped asking his family for help as often as he did. At nine, it was hard to get a word out of Elmo. When he did speak, it was more or less an ‘okay’ rather than ‘I learned that…’ with an excited tone like most children around his age.
At ten, he had his first instance of magic and got his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts, and he told his family. That year, he began to talk a little more, tried to get a conversation going. But other than constant insults from his brothers, he didn’t get much out of his family than just ‘My day was fine. Thank you.’ And then awkward silence. Every time.
Yes, his family went to Hogwarts, and the fact that he was going to Hogwarts must be nice, at least, nice for his family to know about because then he wasn’t a complete disappointment, he wasn’t a squib.
First Instance of Magic: Age 10. May 19th 2010.
He cried. Secretly. He tried so hard not to call any attention to himself. But he cried and cried. Why did it feel like he was a reject? Why did he have to feel so put down? Why did his heart have to ache every night? His head laid on his arms crossed in front of him on the desk. The wilting plant he had on his desk began to grow and it was almost as if it had regained life as it was bright and inviting in comparison to what it was when it wilted, but it grew fast, it healed, somehow? Elmo, still crying, looked up at the sunflower he had on his desk and only got confused. He didn’t water it. No one came into his room, and especially not at the time he was in the room crying, everyone was out of the house. He had no idea what happened.

Before hogwarts, me and my family lived in the peaceful fields near the forest, outside of hogsmeade. My mother was a muggle and worked as a teacher, while my father was a pureblood that worked in the ministry. Because of this, I had a range of both magical and non-magical things around the house which I found interesting. My parents always had a good relationship and we’d all go into the forest and walk for a bit and explore areas we haven’t explored in the forest yet.
I always enjoyed roaming around the fields and forest around us. It was peaceful and roam around and watch the animals watching me in the shadows. I always enjoyed exploring, it always gave me a sense of thrill to explore the unknown and what could be lurking in the forest. I was always interested in animals so striving to find one in the forest never concerned me.
Friend-wise, I didn’t really have much because of where I lived, it was a pretty remote area. When I did have friends, we’d have fun exploring the forest and just doing whatever kids do, it would be significant but wouldn’t last too long because they’d always move. I did enjoy their company but I always did enjoy adventuring by myself because I could go above the limits I was stuck to with other people around

I was around 9 or 10 years old and it was like any other day, skies sunny, animals out and adventuring into the unknown because of my curiosity and need for exploring constantly. I was roaming around, glancing at the greenery around me, trying to find some sort of thrill for the day while being totally immersed in my surroundings. It wasn’t long until I tripped over a root in the ground from a tree and tumbled down a small hill.
Once I reached the bottom, I was all scratched up and bruised… it hurt. I started to cry and that’s when it happened- my very first instance of magic. The sky clouded with darkness, the wind was picking up as the downpour started. Why it connected to my emotions in a way? The sky was just clear and bright a moment ago before I fell and started to cry. It was raining heavily and I was sitting there, still cry in the cold until my parents came and found me. My mother wrapped me in a warm, heavy blanket before picking me up and bringing me back home in the pouring rain.
Once we got there, my father gave me some medicine and all the scratches and bruises on my body vanished in an instant and after a while I stopped crying, making the sky clear and the sun was out again with no clouds in sight.
I surely got the thrill I was searching for but not in the way I was expecting
