I do not wish in any way to make this site closer to a form of social media. But some days I wish there was a «like» button of sorts on posts. This could contribute to decluttering in some threads to keep 5-10 people from responding «I agree» or something similar. If I rp with one ore more people it could be used to let them know I loved their post, without filling up my own reply with hidden OOC notes. For me it does not have to gather the liked posts somewhere, similar to how marked favorites are easy to find. It does not even necessarily have to show who has liked a particular post. I don’t know wether the person whose post it is should be able to see whom has liked the post or not. I believe with a bit of etiquette and normal decency we can keep it from being any kind of «popularity contest»

Unfortunately the last time we modified pets, it broke the entire site. I'm not sure if the site master will want to do this, but if he does we can add this to the list of wants.

I have an idea for a new book canon shop in Diagon Alley.
We know from book two, when Ginny is shopping for supplies, that there is at least one second hand store in Diagon Alley. It is not named, but it is very much there. I understand that adding such a store with the functionality of a shop would complicate the system already in place for selling items. I do not wish to change it in the slightest. I simply want the forum to RP. Could this be a possibility?

unrelated suggestion since I'm already here: separate spells from books in the trunk UI so that textbooks and spells are listed separately - it's not so bad year-one but I can imagine the longer both lists get the more annoying I'll find it to have them all together especially since now spells aren't maintained on your trunk character sheet in the encyclopedia

Lear can't modify the code in any way, that's the site coder's thing. Plus I get a feeling if we did that, Lear would have to manually edit where all those spells show up in the inventory one by one. (I have never been admin so my knowledge of the hio admin panel is limited) The easiest thing to do is ctrl+f and search for the spells.

If I was given additional folders by the site coder, I have a method I could organize spells better. I do a lot computer work so know all the tricks. I just need the organizational folders by the site owner.
