Isadora Ashford grew up in the charming town of Livingston, England, in a stately country home that always seemed to hum with warmth and life. The house was neither grand nor humble, but the kind of place that immediately felt welcoming — its wide windows let in soft light during the day, and the sound of the wind in the nearby trees carried gently through the halls at night. The heart of the home was its garden, where her mother, Evelyn, a devoted botanist, spent long hours tending to plants of every variety. Flowers bloomed in careful rows alongside herbs she used for her work, and the scent of soil, lavender, and fresh greenery seemed to follow Isadora wherever she went.
Inside, her father, Thomas, kept a quiet study tucked away at the far end of the house. He was a magizoologist by trade, though his work took him away more often than not. When he returned, however, he brought with him stories of distant places and strange sights, told in the warm glow of the sitting room while Isadora stayed up late to listen, fighting sleep just to catch every word. Her home life was peaceful and close-knit, even if she was the only child. Much of her company came from Bramble, the family dog who seemed to shadow her every step. Bramble was playful, bounding across the garden with her at every chance, but also fiercely protective, always aware of her moods. Their bond gave her comfort on nights when her father was away, making her world feel full despite its quietness.
Isadora herself was a naturally curious and bright young witch, though shy with strangers. She carried a sweet smile, freckles across her nose, and a love for listening — a trait that seemed to grow out of those nights curled up with her father’s stories. The cozy rhythms of that house, with its gardens, books, and familiar warmth, shaped her earliest years and gave her a place where her dreams of magic first began to bloom

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
When Isadora was six years old, she had her first instance of accidental underage wandless magic in her mother’s garden. She had been sitting in the dirt, staring stubbornly at a stubborn flower that refused to bloom no matter how much she poked at it. In a sudden rush of frustration, the entire row of buds snapped open all at once, spilling bright petals and a wave of scent into the air. It was her earliest sign of magic.

History

Eloise Grew up in her family’s single level home located in eastern London, where she lived with Her Father, Seamus Whitmann, Her Mother, Bianca Rhett-Whitmann, and her older brother Phillip, who is just a year older than her. Growing up, Her parents believed that she and her brother would get the best education possible if they stayed homeschooled until they were old enough to attend wizarding school. So, from the time Eloise and Phillip were five, until they were eleven, they were taught the basic school curriculum by their mother , and when their father got home, he would teach them about the peculiar creatures being studied by magi zoologists, hence fueling Eloise’s desire to learn more about animals in the wizarding world and in the muggle world.

When the time came for Phillip to go begin his studies at hogwarts, Eloise was extremely envious of him. The entire trip to Diagon Alley, Eloise did what she did best, she talked to her brother continuously, asking him questions again and again. “ What classes are you most excited for? What house do you hope to get? Will you remember to write me about all the animals and ghosts you meet?” It was question after question, answer after answer. When they arrived at Diagon Alley, Eloise Pestered Her mother and father relentlessly, asking to look at the animals at the pet shop. Eventually, they caved, and they roamed and stared in awe at the variety of animals in the store.

Personality

Eloise is a very curious and optimistic young girl, always eager to learn more and meet new people. She has been known to stick with the shyer side of a crowd, talking up a storm with people like herself who believe that they need to keep themselves quiet in public, otherwise they fear losing the people they enjoy being around the most.

Whenever Eloise learns about a new topic that fascinates her, she will always be willing to chatter on about that topic for hours on end, and to anyone who is willing to listen. She once chattered to her brother about nifflers from the time they awoke until they went to bed the next day, only taking a break when they were asleep. Because of this, Eloise doesn’t have many friends. So, as if to protect herself from loneliness, she never says much in public. Because she knows if she starts talking, she’ll never stop.

When Eloise isn’t at home, researching animals in her father’s study, she can be found checking out books on muggles and/or animals in their world. If she isn’t there, she could be at a park or retail store with her charcoal pencil and sketchbook , doodling curious things she sees on her excursions.

FIOM

Eloise’s FIOM took place at the London Wizards Library with her mother and older brother Phillip, at the age of six. Upon arriving at the library, Eloise’s mother let her and Phillip to explore the children’s section of the library. Eloise, whose current interest was animals (fantastical or not), began the search for a book about forest animals. When she did finally, she skimmed the pages, finding that her favorite information was on raccoons and predatory birds. As She read, A group of boys her age came over and began questioning her. "What’s a girl doing reading boys books? Everyone knows that girls who read books about wild animals belong in the zoo with them!" One boy said. "Oh, wait, isn’t your dad a zoologist? I thought I smelled animal droppings. It’s a shock that your family can even be considered purebloods with all of the stench and shame you and your family brings!" Said another. Eloise didn’t care at first. But when they spoke ill of her family? That crossed a line. “Shut up you Monkey!” Yelled Eloise, throwing her book at the group of boys. Less than a moment later, a commotion of yelling and screaming, and the sound of books being thrown to the floor were heard all throughout the library as books began throwing themselves at the group of boys, as well as everyone else on the first floor. A woman’s voice crackled over the intercom; “Attention library guests, please take caution when roaming the first floor shelves, as the books appear to be flying off the shelves and diving at guests as they walk past. Again, take caution. Thank you.” The intercom shut off. Eloise ducked down as books flew past her, hitting any and everyone who dared enter the room. Within minutes , members of the ministry were summoned to the first floor library, and slowly but surely, the books began falling to the floor with a thump as the magic wore off.

Kael belonged to the Ashbourne family which was once respectable but had lost its standing. Before going to Hogwarts, he was living in a quaint and small village in Devon.

He grew up near forests, watching storm clouds roll over hills, collecting interesting stuff he can find, like pebbles or feathers. His trinkets would even come from here, giving them nostalgic meaning. His trinket collecting was more than a quirk - each object has a faint magical trace; like a button that vibrates when danger is near, and a marble that rolls toward hidden doors.

Kael had a "gentle defiance" - never rebellious but he quietly does what he believes is right even when people overlook him. He was a bit clumsy as a child - drops things, knocks over bottles, but it somehow always leads to something good or funny, like the dropped items always falling next to a different item.

As a child, he was more curious than privileged; he always collected odd little trinkets, a habit that carried through to Hogwarts, where he always has something random in his pocket.

Though he was rather inept in many subjects in school, Kael showed an early talent for charms. As a Hufflepuff, he was known to be loyal and quietly courageous. He also had a great sense of humor and surprising brilliance. Kael often does not get the credibility he deserves. However, he has a greater potential than he believes.

FIOM:
Reducio
At the age of seven, Kael fell off a tree trying to catch a kite. After falling, he floated nicely to the ground and landed in the grass without injury. He was terrified at first, but then amazed. His parents were pretty shocked. They exchanged a nervous look and quickly assured him it was a “lucky fall”.

Percival was born on the 23rd of May, 2014 in Kempston, England, to two wizard parents who raised him in a warm and supportive home. His younger brother, Brian, two and a half years his junior, was his closest friend growing up, so the two spent much of their time together. They would spend hours playing, pretending to be famous wizards or Quidditch players, and often tried to sneak into their parents' rooms to find magical items and artifacts they had brought home.

Early on, it were these little moments of mischief that began to spark his interest into the world of magic.

With wizards as parents, Percival also understood what was going to be asked of him when he grew up. His parents had gone to Hogwarts, where his Mother performed well as a Hufflepuff, and his father made a name for himself as a Gryffindor. So, to prepare himself for that life, he always did his best in school and performed just above average. Never the top of his class, but he always did well enough to satisfy his teachers and make his parents proud.

Now that his letter from Hogwarts has finally arrived, he eagerly awaits his first day and the famous journey to reach the castle. He has heard so much about it from his parents throughout the years, and simply can't wait to study where they once did.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio

His first use of magic happened when he was seven years old, during an argument with his younger brother over a simple broom they used to play pretend Quidditch with.

When his brother had taken the broom, Percival had shouted at him in frustration, and much to his surprise, the broomstick shot across the room straight into his hands. The two brothers had frozen for a moment, clearly startled by the sudden and unexpected use of magic, but they also understood what it meant.

And so did his parents.

This was the moment that Percival and his family realized that he was a wizard and that he was only a few years away from tapping into that potential. Just the way his parents once had.

Ronan was born June 11th at 6:31 pm, and he had exactly 5 minutes of peace before his sister was born. Almost immediately the competition between Ronan and Rowan began. First it was who cried more, then who crawled first, who walked first, who talked first. Once the firsts passed it became who was better at any given thing. Rowan quickly became the golden child as she naturally talented at most things, and had a sharp gifted mind. Ronan had to try hard for everything, immense effort and practice. While at times this led to his overcoming his sister far too often he found himself her lesser, and there was no second place in his household.

Ronan and his sister became more Rivals than siblings, always fighting and competing for everything. This led to Ronan having a strong competitive nature with everyone about everything, he needed to be the best at everything he ever tried and he would not rest until he was. While this helped him become a promising student it crippled his social life leading him to have few, if any friends.

The best moment of his childhood up till now was his first use of accidental magic. One summer day when he was seven, while working on cultivating their artistic skills Ronan's parents set him and his sister to painting the same vase with flowers. Attention to detail, and dexterity both being important skills for wizards to have. Ronan took his time, making sure it was as perfect as possible as he hated painting and was not as naturally good at it, while his sister Rowan was gifted with art. She finished well before him, and began to tease him about how she beat him at something again, and kept poking and prodding him as he grew more and more frustrated until finally he lost him composure and yelled at her, and in this moment his magical first manifested as he pulled the drying paint from Rowan's canvas and it splattered all over her. While he did get sent to his room for covering his sister in paint, he was congratulated for his display of magic and was allowed to name a gift he desired to mark the occasion, leading to a family outing to a Kenmare Kestrals (Despite his insistence that his sister be left at home, she was brought along.)

The Kestral's won, and he was able to get an emerald and gold wrist band that he is rarely ever without. While he wants to one day be a Duelist, perhaps an Auror he loves Quidditch and flying and has often thought that in a world without responsibilities and obligations he might have tried to go the route of Quidditch, but he knows such things are not in the cards for him. not with the expectations on his shoulders

For as far back as written records could recall, the Pentros lineage never deviated from their half-giant origins, refusing to form partnerships with any but their own kind. Their tumultuous relationship with nearby wizarding and muggle settlements was further strained by constant raids from the warmongering Pentros heirs that sought to grow their family's wealth and influence across the Mediterranean. As the ancient family grew to where they needed a base of operations, they settled on the island of Khardessa, which was conveniently obscured from both muggle and suspicious wizard onlookers. For centuries, the Pentros name sent shivers down the spines of wizard and half-giants alike, known for swaying allegiances with their horde of gold and brute strength. Their loyalty was won by gold and would quickly turn upon those who could not fulfill their demands. Even in the modern era, the Pentros still have an iron grip on Khardessa, though they've allowed other half-giant families to settle there...as long as they lined Pentros' coffers, of course. If there is a need for security or to sweep something under the metaphorical (sometimes literal) rug, there is a Pentros son or daughter that will take the helm. The current head of the Pentros clan is Vadran, Hera's grandfather, who exiled his last born son, Karesh, from Khardessa for attempting to steal from the family vault. Karesh was a pragmatic half-giant and was able to find stability working in the dark alleyways of wizarding villages hunting down wizards and others alike who were indebted to his employer while also presenting himself as a noble entrepreneur in the daylight.

The Thavros were a clan of half-giant nomadic merchants that made their fortune from passing secrets rather than enchanted jewelry and rare potion ingredients. Like their Pentros counterparts, the Thavros' half-giant bloodline goes back generations and has established themselves in almost all major wizarding ports. They are an elegant, graceful folk who carry themselves in high regards and are very concerned with image. Distinguishable by two sets of tusks and pale silver skin, they are a common sight in high courts and as ambassadors. They intertwine themselves with other half-giant families often through arranged marriages, bolstering their coffers and strengthening their trade of secrets. It was Valemira, Hera's mother, that was promised to the third Pentros son, Karesh, in exchange for access to well-guarded vaults and protection in the seedy wizarding underworld. There was no love born between the two half-giants and instead, they regarded their relationship as a means to a wealthy end. It was an amicable partnership, but one that was shrouded in mystery as the island itself. It was a common sight to see Karesh with women that were obviously not his betrothed and Valemira hardly present except for when a public appearance was necessary, spending her time in the courts of other half-giant nobility. It would be Karesh's attempt to raid the Khardessa's vaults that shattered the Thavros' carefully pieced together image and threatened to unravel connections that they Pentros held so dearly. Valemira's death has severed the partnership between the two families, leading to bitter accusations and unrest.
Character Backstory: Backstory changes in GREEN
Reducio
For as long as there has been magic coursing through the blood of ancient wixes, there has been a Pentros to exploit it. Yazhera is no exception, following in the formidable footsteps of her ancestors with grand leaps. Before her father's failed coup against her grandfather, the prolific half-giant Pentros family had dug their roots deep into the soil of an obscured Greek island, Khardessa. Hidden from muggle eyes and nestled upon unforgiving cliffs, Khardessa became the hub of those who meddled with unsavory dark arts and needed financing from the deep pockets of the Pentros family. Having stolen their fortune rather than earned it, those born under the heavy burden of the Pentros name like Hera's father, Karesh, often took up professions such as hitwizards, security, and proprietors to guard more than gold that lies deep within Khardessa's surface. Karesh's wife, Valemira, belonged to another ancient family that settled on the island. While their Pentros counterparts preferred to settle their disputes with fists, the half-giants born under the name Thavros flourished in courts and found their fortune in dealing information. As the last born, Karesh's inheritance would be stripped to its bare bones by the two eldest Pentros sons before it would land on his platter. It was no surprise that Hera's father met great resistance when he tried to pry secrets from the vault.

At the age of five, Hera fled with her father and mother from Khardessa's shores. The night sky was aglow with streaks of light as spells were flung between her father and his kin, indistinguishable from lightning to the muggle eye. With her hand cloistered in Valemira's iron grasp, Hera struggled to keep up with her mother's frantic pace, searching for Karesh amongst the chaos. As the volleys of spells grew more frequent, Hera and her mother could not outrun the onslaught. Just as a rogue spell was about to strike the young Pentros, a heavy shove by her mother saved her from a gruesome fate, at the cost of Valemira's life. Hera's heartbeat thrummed in her ears, drowning out the caterwaul that rose up from her throat. Crimson droplets splashed against the rocky shore from where the spell scorched across the bridge of her nose before colliding with her mother. With no time for grief to latch on with its claws, Karesh tore Hera away. The young girl was forced to watch her home shrink into the distance between the short bursts of apparitions.

Six years came and went as time began to meld together in an unintelligible blur. Hera and her father were left to pick up the shattered remains of their family name in Godric's Hollow. Honest work was difficult to come by, so dishonest had to do. Soon, the Pentros name became a familiar whisper in the dark alleys if there was a need for muscle who could turn a blind eye for a price. Their half-giant ancestry turned heads, sometimes with disdainful looks, but none were brave enough for a confrontation. The glances would continue throughout Hera's school days as curiosity would get the better of her classmates.
FIOM:
Reducio
A year after the unfortunate death of her mother and having to uproot all she had known up until that fateful day, the disgraced Pentros were able to find suitable quarters in the finer part of the village. Despite her father's efforts to recreate their home on Khardessa, it never felt more than a hollow shell. The only comfort of home was in the portrait of her mother, father, and her that sat in the long hallway, dimly lit by twin candles on either side. After a particular restless night, the seven year old half-giant slipped out of her bed to sit with her back against the wall where the portrait hung, their faces moving looking mockingly happy behind glass. In a rare outburst and a culmination of blame she placed upon her father, the young girl swung around and slammed a fist against the portrait. Glass flung across the floor from the impact of the portrait against the hardwood floors, falling facedown. Suddenly, tears welled up in her eyes like a heavy mist as she hurriedly tried to put the portrait back together, mashing the broken frame together. After multiple fruitless attempts, the girl had given up, clenching the shattered frame in her fists and wracked with sobs. Slowly, the pieces of the portrait began to come together like an invisible puppet master had plucked them from her hands and danced them across the floor. Wiping stinging tears and disbelief from her eyes, Hera saw as the portrait had become whole again, sitting against the wall as if it had been carefully placed there. Slipping back into her bed, Hera did not mention the incident to her father in the morning. The portrait had not been the only broken one that night and in the end, they both were just slightly more whole.

Cecilia was born to two ambitious aurors – a half-blood French witch determined to pave her own path and the golden child from a line of British purebloods. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when Cecilia was four as her parents died in the line of duty while pursuing a suspect who was later apprehended by hit wizards. The family went into mourning, and it was quickly revealed that Cecilia would be placed in the care of her uncle, Claude, and his wife, Lenore. This came as a shock to everyone, particularly the girl’s grandparents, who were preparing for her to move into the Merrick estate. They raised concerns as to whether Claude and Lenore were fit to become Cecilia’s guardians, but later dismissed them to respect the wishes of their deceased son.

Shortly after the funeral, Cecilia moved across the country to live with her new guardians. With the warmth and care Cecilia received, she eventually settled into her new home. Her uncle's job as a cursebreaker kept him busy, but he made an effort to be present during important events. After learning to write, Cecilia kept in touch with Claude through letters whenever he travelled. The promise of a new souvenir for her collection upon his return often alleviated her worries regarding his absence. Lenore's position as a magical tailor meant her time was flexible, allowing her to spend more time with Cecilia. The two grew rather close over the years, and Cecilia admires her carefully tailored garments. Outside of lessons, Cecilia occasionally shadowed Lenore in the kitchen to fulfil her self-appointed duties as 'head taste tester' – a blatant excuse to indulge in sweet treats.

Reputable tutors were arranged to meet Cecilia’s needs. They noted that although the girl showed great promise, she seemed to register information selectively – zoning out during discussions that did not appeal to her. This resulted in a great difference between her performance in athletics and etiquette, the latter being merely satisfactory.

A few months after the incident, Cecilia’s maternal grandparents reached out and offered their condolences. Due to their estranged relationship with the girl’s mother, little was known about them. Claude and Lenore were hesitant to connect with them, but noted that they were Cecilia's only connection to her mother. This marked the beginning of the family's frequent holidays in France. During these visits, Cecilia grew fond of fencing as well as ballroom dancing in France and pursued both back in England. While in France, she spent most of her time at the Lavergne manor, but accompanied her grandparents to Paris every now and then for events. Her grandfather, a skilled metal charmer, runs a family business that produces custom jewellery, while her grandmother is a muggle-born who was a principal dancer in her youth.

Her maternal grandparents maintain appearances as socialites, while her paternal grandparents continue to strengthen their connections as former foreign ambassadors. As a result, Cecilia has attended a variety of formal events in England and France. She adores the dancing but has grown to dislike the atmosphere, particularly at her grandparents' galas in London. The whispers about her parents, fake smiles and pity-filled remarks veiled as sympathy make her seethe. Due to this experience, Cecilia prefers to avoid discussions regarding her late parents.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
At seven years old, Cecilia found herself attending yet another of her grandparents’ dreary galas. As dessert was being served at her table, she was engaged in conversation with a young wizard when he made an unsavoury remark regarding Cecilia’s blood status. She bit her lip in an attempt to suppress the anger she felt in that moment, but her efforts were futile. When the boy brought his fork down to spear a piece of his cherry pie slice, the dessert exploded in his face. Although the physical impact was harmless, the boy’s clothes were stained by a thick red syrup. The table fell quiet as everyone processed what had happened. After overcoming their initial shock, some of the other children at the table burst out laughing, whilst others regained their composure and showed their disapproval. Cecilia was still startled, but soon found herself trying to hide her amusement (but she failed miserably). Of course, the boy and his parents were very upset and demanded an apology from Cecilia. Her uncle stepped in to sort out the situation, but to their annoyance, he seemed more delighted than apologetic – this was his niece’s first instance of magic. Cecilia’s grandparents apologised profusely to the disgruntled guests, then went on to give the girl and her uncle an earful that evening.

Madeline Faye Tomlinson was born as the only daughter to the Tomlinsons, she is also the youngest, having two older brothers.

She got her middle name (Faye) because that's the name her parents thought of when she was born. Simple and enchanting, like her. Her brother call her using her middle name, and she doesnt minds.

Her name (Madeline) means strong, her parents raised her to be independent and go for what she thinks, never to hold back her opinions.

She is a troublemaker by birth and I think the credit goes to her father, and brothers. She's always laughing about something and doesnt likes much girly stuff, probably because she only had her mother in her house as a female. The effect of being mostly with male population pays off right? She would rather climb trees and break her leg than go to balls, dress up and dance. People mostly make fun of her because of this but that is just her, and she wouldn't have it any other way!

Her family comes from a long line of Gryffindors, so when her eldest brother (Benedict) got sorted into Ravenclaw it did caused drama but family supported him fully, so no problem. But, Maddy had hoped she would follow (Louis) and the rest of her family and join the Gryffins as she had everything it takes to go there (atleast she thought). So when the hat sorted her in Hufflepuff she was torn, but Now its home. This was where she belonged and she would not be anywhere else.

For the majority of the De la Torre family, the talent of parselmouths in the family were common knowledge, a skill many have possessed since they first arrived in Venezuela in the 1700s. Through out this time the De la Torres did not escape the hunger of dark arts often associated with parselmouths, with many of them spending their later years honing the skill of dark magic. By Catalina's generation the family had mostly shied away from that part of their history, presenting as a simple noble family, keeping the generational talent of parselmouth a secret, with the last known parselmouth being Argenis de la Torre, Catalina's grandfather and famed philanthropist. That is, before Catalina’s talents were discovered.

The skill of Parseltongue was not one Argenis was ready to let go of, frankly the man had been vocal with his disappointment due to none of his children inheriting the ability. It soon became a sore spot for Eduardo. With the birth of Camilo there were once again no signs of Parselmouth, thus the family gave up by the time Catalina was born, though she would prove them wrong on a trip to Dublin, Ireland, where Argenis spent his retirement with his wife. It was New year’s eve, as most of the family were gathered in the dining room conversing, Catalina and Camilo went to look at Argenis’ snakes, as it was the first time the children has seen snakes this close by. One of the snakes slowly slithered towards the children, as Camilo backed away in fear Catalina was only intrigued by the animal, eventually reaching her hand into the large tank. It was a short conversation they exchanged, with Catalina simply asking about what kind of life the snake had lived, curious about what it had seen over the years. She did not even seen the moment as something significant until Argenis rushed over, a smile hanging on his face uncharacteristically. He led the siblings back to the dining room as dinner was set, announcing the news to the family mid way through the meal.

From then Catalina received more eyes from the rest of the family then she ever wanted, it was like they all were looking forward to her achieving some greatness. During her time at school Catalina was at least able to satisfy those expectations with her grades and her sports, the broom racing wins giving her something to flaunt at family gatherings, apart from the pet snake she was gifted at age sixteen, Perla. Catalina’s family did not hesitate to make their disappointment of her clear, the idea of their talented child running off to Europe for years then becoming a teacher was not one they liked. Especially in contrast to her brother, who went into research almost immediately after graduating. Catalina would not face her extended family for most of the time, not until she got her title as headmistress, it seemed only then did most of the De la Torres deemed her worthy of her talents. The weight of her talents often felt heavy, still Perla kept Catalina company. Eventually having her own enclosure in the headmistress’ office.

Character Backstory:
Reducio
The De la Torres are a Venezuelan pureblood family with an ancestral home just outside of Maracaibo, away from muggle eyes. As the first born son Eduardo de la Torre inherited the family manor, starting a family with his wife Milagro, the pair soon had two children, with Catalina being the youngest. Her older brother by four years, Camilo, was always the more obedient child despite Catalina's best effort. After the birth of both children Eduardo took a step away from the potion making business he started with Milagro in favor of educating the two children, wanting them to be the best they can be starting from early childhood. It was not until Camilo started attending Castelobruxo at age eleven that he returned to working full time with his wife. This meant from Catalina was seven until she was old enough to attend Castelobruxo at age eleven she had a Nanny hired by her parents. She was supposed to help Catalina advance in whatever area she decided she was passionate about, if only she found one.

Her lack of passion for any magical area would not change in the many years to come. As her brother advanced in school, eventually specializing in magical theory and becoming a researcher, Catalina moved along at Castelobruxo like a worker bee, working hard but solely for her parents wishes. She excelled in studies with a focus on potions and later Ritual Magic, assuming she would take over her parents business eventually as her brother had no interest in it. Her competitive spirit did lead her to join broom racing during her time at school, a move her brother disapproved of solely due to how it seemed dangerous to the older boy, as if duels don't have the same level of risk. Eventually Catalina graduated as one of the best and brightest in her year, yet choosing to spend her early twenties traveling aboard, mostly around Europe and Africa. In this time she took on many short term jobs, from simple research aide to tutoring, the latter she found a surprising enjoyment for.

At age twenty seven Catalina made the return back to Castelobruxo, this time as a teacher, a move that surprised her family as the Venezuelan had never show an interest in the path of education before, but it was a fitting choice. The idea of being able to help the young people around her and help them find their passion spoke to Catalina. She was a calm but friendly face in the classroom, her warm smile making her class just a bit more cheerful. Perhaps it wasn't too surprising that Catalina would eventually become the headmistress, the women cared deeply about her passions, once she found them.

First Instance of Magic: At age eight, when Catalina was spending time with her older brother, she took his wand when he wasn't noticing and refused to give it back. As her brother failed to convince her to give it back, the twelve year old boy tried to snatch the wand back. As a response Catalina yelped and jumped back, promoting all the windows in the house to open dramatically in the process.

Character Backstory: Leon Ravenscroft was a sincere man. He was charming and fun. He is also a wizard, from whom Harriet may or may not have inherited her powers. Barbara Grande, however, is a Muggle living an ordinary life on the outside, but inside, knowing about all her husband's magical secrets. That is why, when Leon told her, she was not a bit surprised. Barbara was also not very nice to other people, except for their neighbours. She often hid things about herself. She once had an affair but came running to Leon after the divorce. However, that little secret was the one thing she didn't tell her husband. Leon was too kind to question why Barbara was away for a week. A long while after Harriet was born in the historic city of Bath, with Leon assuming that Harriet was his, his suspicions died out when she did magic for the first time. Growing up, Harriet didn't have many friends, as everyone knew her as a tattle-tale. However, her neighbour/family friend stood by her side no matter how much she was going through. Harriet was very grateful for her. Harriet spent more time with her father than with her mother, as her mum was always out doing 'business'. Harriet didn't mind, though, as she always had fun when she was with her father. They would go out for walks in the parks or have ice cream.

First Instance of Magic: Harriet was drinking her favourite drink of all time, L and P (Lemon and Paeroa), when she accidentally knocked it over. She looked down to see a wet mess and went to find tissues to wipe it up. However, she came back to the mess with no luck with a tissue, so she went on to the floor and started wiping with her hands. But then, after one swipe, it was gone! Harriet looked at her hands and then the floor, perplexed at what had just happened. Hearing the noise of the crash, Harriet's dad came to investigate what the problem was. He arrived just in time to see Harriet clean up the mess with her hands. And it was then that he knew he had to tell his daughter the truth.
