EST has been drilled into my mind since every tv show (back when cable was a thing :grandpa:) would say that a show would air at 8/9 Central.

Central is about an hour behind us. (plus my state is split between timezones so if we go to the middle of the state, we get hit with a time change from EST to CST)

I remember when you had to watch something when it was aired

I live in CST time, so I also see that same thing you do, Vlad. It’s been drilled into my mind to always look at the earlier time.

@Nick Jameson real, but for a while we got spoiled with the ability to record shows. I miss when I was like 7? 8? and monstober came on tv in october it was purely a magical experience I guess lol

@Avery Gray lol, and me the later. I haven't seen it on tv actually recently, and my guess is since we use subscription programs rather than cable, they just need to release it on a day than to get everyone amped for, and aware of, the time and day it is released so they don't miss it?

I don’t have streaming services anymore, but I believe so. I’ve seen before other subscriptions posting the show the next day or week depending on scheduling so the people that missed the show can watch later.

Haven't had a TV license in years No streaming subscriptions either...

I miss just having cable

I have cable TV, (thats where u have access to netflix, prime, etc. right?) tho its parent-sponsored (also have a PS 5 which is the only thing I use now...)

I don’t have a PS5, but I have a PS3 and a switch I play on besides my computer and phone.

Er, cable tv is the thing where you used to be able to access different channels (some you had to pay extra for...)


I am not sure how to describe it but prime is a subscription service, I'm not aware of it being on cable as a channel? It is its own app, it's own service.



I don't have a ps anything. I used to have the WII but my brother threw IT OUT >c when eh got mad. I had a xbox 360 but that broke. I had a playstation at one point around the same time as an xbox 360 but that also broke. I now have an xbox x|s or whatever. The thingy doesn't even take discs and it frustrates me lol how you'll have to pay for the games online and STILL not be able to keep them permanently if the game is ever revoked.
