I'm probably not the one who should be relaying this information, but it was heavily discussed upon creating the sub accounts. They don't want players who have been on longer to have an extra income source simply because they have been on for longer, seeing as that would be an unfair advantage. Also, it really does help to prioritize and be smart with the stipend you do get.
I probably haven't encompassed it all, but that's really the main thing, as far as I was able to grasp.

WIS - 7 | AP - 5 | ACC - 7

To confirm: even adults don't have a daily stipend for the same reason inpc accounts do not. Plus, it'd be really easy to cheat and take advantage of the system and get stuff a lot faster just because you managed to make more money since you have a second account. I'm sure staff can correct me but I think Graci actually covered it pretty well imo.
*note I'm talking about non-staff adults/retired from staff adults

Graci is actually wholly correct.

I was thinking maybe we could have a mirror of Erised forum where people can roleplay what they see, or they accidentally discover the mirror. To make it more restricted, there could be a year limit (only above year 3? something like that), or we need some object, like the bus pass or fake permission form.

I don't create the forums here but to create more forums is to add another forum onto the responsibilities of the moderators. What I could counter-propose is...
the mirror of erised is an item, it, according to the fandom wiki, is found in the Room of Requirements, Disused Classroom and in the Underground Chambers. You could probably use it in the Classroom forum, or in the also-year-locked (or item locked) room of requirements.

I admittedly don't know if we would've really moved it from the Underground Chambers after 1992 but given that the mirror's only "power" is showing you what you most want- like Albus holding a sock, or Harry standing alongside his parents, it isn't going to show you a guaranteed future, just what you want.

So, I don't think it's something we're barred from using, like the timeturners, so I think you can probably find it in the Room of Requirements or in a random room somewhere in this large large castle.

Maybe we could do a grouped mention. So if I want to mention @Person1, @Person2, @Person3, and @Person4, but if it takes up too much space wecould do something like

Code: Select all

The Group
I'm not sure if this already exists but maybe we could add it if it doesn't.

I am fairly new here, so pardon my suggestion if it has come up before.

I do not wish in any way to make this site closer to a form of social media. But some days I wish there was a «like» button of sorts on posts. This could contribute to decluttering in some threads to keep 5-10 people from responding «I agree» or something similar. If I rp with one ore more people it could be used to let them know I loved their post, without filling up my own reply with hidden OOC notes. For me it does not have to gather the liked posts somewhere, similar to how marked favorites are easy to find. It does not even necessarily have to show who has liked a particular post. I don’t know wether the person whose post it is should be able to see whom has liked the post or not. I believe with a bit of etiquette and normal decency we can keep it from being any kind of «popularity contest»

What do you think?

I like it, if the site coder pops in, this would be worth a beg.
