With their strategy in place, EmmaLee got ready to take make her move. Honestly, she had really wanted to stay back and defend. With her lack of previous athletic experience, she had absolutely no real confidence that she could do this, but this was what they had decided was the best course of action. Additionally, she was never one to back down from something that she had decided to do and she was determined to make the most of this camp experience.

As the moderator called out, EmmaLee burst forward in a run towards the Pink Parrots' ship. Not going to lie, once she got to her opponent's obstacle, she had to stop and catch her breath while trying to strategize her way through it. EmmaLee put one arm around her waist, her other elbow on top of her arm, and her knuckle to her bottom lip in thought as she observed the obstacle and watched others tackle it. If she didn't step on the right platform, she and anyone else on the wheel would fall. She let the wheel spin two more times before taking a deep breath and leaping onto her chosen platform.

Success! She threw her hands up in the air as she was propelled towards the deck of the ship. Apparently, she was a little more perceptive and agile than she previously thought, or it was dumb luck. Not sure which. Once she had reached the Pink Parrots' ship, she leaped onto solid ground, rather, solid deck.

Once on deck, she crouched down and tried to sneak past the Pink Parrot defenders, which consisted of two older girls and Bubba, her tentmate, while they were occupied with other players. Maaaaybe Bubba would be cool and just look the other way and not notice her. Alas, Bubba looking her way didn't even matter because the younger of the two girls had spotted her anyway. The girl lunged at EmmaLee to try and catch her but EmmaLee slipped on the wet deck and slid right past her towards the flags. She let out a laugh as she glided across the ship and collided with the pole holding the flags. She uselessly dusted water off of her dress as she jumped up to a standing position and snatched one of the pink flags.

Flag in hand she took off across the ship, back over her opponents obstacle, and on towards her own, skidding to a stop at the giant wall of water and leaning over to catch her breath again as her teammates passed her up and over the wall.

Ok. Let's go. She took a deep breath in and out and tackled the giant wall of water, running in head first. She yelped as the cold water hit her like a ton of bricks and jumped back out of the water, whining in a rather undignified fashion. She hadn't expected it to be that heavy or that cold. How had the others just charged through? Well....pretty much all of them were bigger than her and guaranteed more physically fit.

As she stepped back to attempt the water again, the end of the round was signaled. Ugh. She would have to tackle the wall next round. Well, at least she had gotten a flag. That in itself was a miracle.

The game was going fast, River was having a hard time keeping up with it, it seemed that everyone was attacking their ship. She was getting a little over whelmed, and her mind started to get flustered.
"Ahhh" she muttered as she seen one of their flags get stolen.
Her mind was starting to go crazy, why was this game so darn hard???
She shook her head as she focused on the next person, She chased at the girl, but no matter how hard she tried she seemed to fail to stop them.
She was getting annoyed that she had let so many people by, and sometimes when you are annoyed you forget your own strengths and weaknesses. Well River had forgotten how much strength she could give, because when she seen another girl coming up to most likely steal a flag -River was very much sure that the girl was not coming up just to say hello and have a nice chat- She did the first think that came to her mind, she reached out and pushed the other girl with more force then she had meant to.
She watched in surprise as the girl fell over.
She was filled with guilt for a few seconds, but then pushed it away, calming herself by saying that the girl had been asking for it, trying to steal the flag.

They were off with a bang, well. Everett was not quite off with a bang. He was gunning for the center, the golden flag. Perhaps it was his Quidditch instincts kicking in, despite him not being a seeker. But he knew that flag meant more points. There was strategy in waiting for someone else to grab it and steal it, but he wanted his hands on it. He noticed there was... no one else going for it. Perhaps it was his overzealous nature that made him mess up on the first obstacle. But he quickly knocked one of the poles, leaving him to return back to his base with a bit of a stomp.

Luckily he wasn't incompetent with returning to the ship, easily scaling the 6ft wall and meeting back up with his team. "How'd we turn out?" They had gotten 20 points, 2 flags. That wasn't bad. But he was sure the other team got more. They were also down two members so that didn't help. But, they were only down one flag so. That was good. "Take a second, I predict this is going to be a long game." He gazed around at the other obstacles, wondering what would be best to tackle next. Were they going to be a target being that they were left largely untouched? A sudden unease settled in his stomach as his brain cogs worked overtime to develop strategy.

The chaos that ensued unfolded in seconds. Like raiding pirates the other teams attempted to storm the opposing ships and steal their plunder. In this case the plunder would be the flags. The adrenaline in Oliver made it hard for him to get distracted by the others. He was feeling in the zone. With ease he leaped from platform to platform. It bought him back to the days he would jump from stone to stone in a creek bed near home.

Snatching a flag from the Coral Crossbones had been like stealing candy from a baby. (Although admittedly Oliver never stole candy from a baby.) With a grin plastered on his face the second year emerged back to his ship with the flag in hand.

"More flags to get" He said with a smirk.

Taking notice of the other flags his team had retrieved had given the badger an extra moral boost. He wasn't sure of how the other teams were doing, but he was liking his teams odd. As long as everything goes as planned things should hold up. He knew he had to continue doing his part as well. With that in mind Oliver was on the prowl once again. He had to prove to himself he didn't get lucky the first time. After all his competitive nature couldn't let him just enjoy the game for fun.

Most of her teammates ran off to steal flags from other ships but Eliza stayed, together with another girl, in their ship to protect the flags. The blonde watched as the other students ran away and thought of the great horrors they would face outside of their safe ship. In her mind, they turned into heroes who were on a mission to retrieve their long-lost treasure which was stolen many moons ago by horrible pirates and she had the extremely important job to protect their current treasures from falling into the hands of more evil people.

As the attackers tried to pass the obstacle course in front of the ship, Elizaveta had enough time to mentally prepare for the group. From all the people that stole a flag, she had been able to spot two, one of them she recognized from the last ball and the other unknown, but she was only able to stop one of the students from stealing a precious flag. Still, one was more than none. Absolutely horrified she watched as an unknown student attacked the teammate that had also stayed on the ship causing the latter to become unconscious. A little gasp escaped her mouth as she hurried towards her team mate who was soon carried away by the nurse.

The chaos began to ensue as the game truly got underway. Perhaps it was her own fault for asking about the strategy, but Olive would not be moving to attack this time. In fact, she wouldn’t even be leaving her team’s ship, as she was stuck with guarding the flag. She thought it was utterly ridiculous that she should be the one stuck watching the rest of the game take place and not be actually doing anything. She was a Quidditch chaser, not a keeper for god’s sake!

Caught up in her thoughts, she didn’t notice the boy trying to steal the flag until it was too late. ”Crap,” she muttered as she chased after him. She groaned and rolled her eyes in irritation as he made it off the ship with their flag in hand. As she watched him run off with the flag, Olive tapped her fingers against the wood of the railing. How could she have let that happen?

The rest of her team chose that moment to come back and Everett to ask how they had done. “We lost a flag,” she admitted. “We’ll do better this round though, I’m sure of it.” They would do better because Olive wouldn’t slack off this time, no matter what job she would be assigned to do. When you have a team counting on you, you shouldn’t just let them down if you aren’t happy with something.

"Good luck and skills Lilac Leviathans. Let us go and win!" Kamila called out as the game began to start. She hoped the other team had heard her. It made her team seem more confident, like they had all their actions planned out.

Once the game had officially started Kamila got prepared and ready. Kamila decided to stay behind and defend her team, The Lilac Leviathans. One other person stayed behind with her as well, The Lady of Eternal Silence (an excellent title in Kamila's opinion).

"I accidentally let them get away. As long as our other team members are successful, we can hopefully make up for my mistake. I will not fail again I promise." Kamila replied. "Good job getting two of them."

How was this possible? How had she not protected the flag? How could she have let that person slip away with her team's flag? Kamila was supposed to defend her team and she had failed. It is okay I will do better next time, Kamila thought. There was no other option she had to do better. Kamila could not let her team or herself down. This time Kamila was going to be successful at whatever she decided to do.

There was no hesitation from any of the players as they game began, everyone rushing to attempt to grab a flag for their team. And that is exactly what Vivienne was doing. Her first attack was at the Lilac Leviathan's, and she had easily gotten through the obstacle that had stood in her way. The cold water wall was honestly quite pleasant, especially during the summer, so she found she couldn't really complain about that particular obstacle.

Everything had been going great, until it hadn't. She had been spotted by one of the defenders. Cursing silently, she still attempted to get passed the girl in hopes of still being able to evade her and steal a flag. Unfortunately, that was not quite the outcome. She'd been hit, thus failing to steal a flag, and all she had to do now was retreat back to her team's ship and hope she'll be able to steal a flag next time.

At least Vivienne had successfully managed to traverse her team's own obstacle, safely making it back onto their ship. They'd managed to secure 20 points, which was good enough. As usual, Vivienne done her best to look on the bright side. Just because she didn't manage to secure points for her team this time, doesn't mean she won't be able to do it next time. She'll just need to try harder. "Mhm," she hummed in agreement, "it's definitely going to be a long game, but don't worry, we've got this," she said encouragingly, trying to boost her team's morale so they would feel confident once they get back out there.

And... go! Theo felt the adrenaline rush through his body as he left his ship and ran to that of the coral... what was the name again? The excitement was showing clearly on his face- this was like playing catch in primary school somehow, the constant anticipation of someone following to catch him- or in this scenario rather throw him into the water.

Not to mention that, if this game was anything like the tomato war, there would be a little Durmstrang girl waiting somewhere to strike when he got close enough. Where even was she? Not guarding her ship apparently.

The young Thunderbird took a few steps back and ran, then jumped. Right, left, right left, he jumped from one platform to the next, his arms extended to keep his balance.
Well, this wasn't so hard, was it?
Once he passed the obstacle, he looked around. A few more people had decided to attack this ship, and were passing the obstacles, only- was that Rett, who was falling into the water over there?

It most certainly was. Theo turned his head away to hide his grin from his friend and instead entered the Coral Crossbone's ship. So where now... There!
Theo reached out and grabbed one coral flag, the first triumph of the day.
