After being abandoned the last round, the quaffle was getting tons on tons of attention from both teams. Haley of Gryffindor and cheating chasers, Cecily and Lavinia, were all going for the little red ball, vying to earn points for their respective teams.

While Cecily seemed to have no fear when it came to knocking other players off their brooms, a sudden chill shot through her as she approached the quaffle. As Cecily hesitated, Lavinia and Haley both dove for the quaffle. Lavinia broke away with it, but the chill leapt from Cecily to Cloven and the younger of the Chasers shuddered. The quaffle bounced harmlessly off the goalpost, and the three Chasers dove for the quaffle once more. This time, Cecily would grab hold of it, and toss it through the unguarded hoops with little trouble. "10 to Ravenclaw!" And once more, the chasers would dive for the quaffle, and Lavinia would emerge victorious once more. This time, her quaffle soared through the still unguarded hoops. "Another 10 to Ravenclaw!"

REGARDING THE PLAYERS…

Once again, Jorah would aim to target Evelynn once more with a stunning backbeat, attempting to extend his streak of success to another game. Unfortunately for him, he caught sight of Anastasia's terrible visage, and he would swing and strike out, missing the bludger entirely with his bat.

Not long after, Griseldis was looking to get in on the action, and sent a bludger of her own toward the Ravenclaw seeker. Unlike Jorah's attempt, however, her bludger made bone-crunching contact with River, and the redhead fell from her broom in one fell swoop. On top of that, Rafael was would follow up on his teammate's attack to try and doubly-knock River out of the sky, but he would be too intimidated by River's gorgeous locks and still angry stare (despite her falling through the air, and all) and missed wide. But the real question is, what on earth was River herself doing through all this?

REGARDING THE SNITCH…

After feeling a bit behind on all the snitching-action, Evelynn decided to dedicate a few solitary minutes to searching for the little snitch. Finally, after some serious soul-searching, as well as sky-searching, she managed to spot it...

right before it got snatched up by River. Somehow, despite getting walloped by a bludger and nearly knocked off another broom, the flailing falling seeker managed to snatch the snitch up in her hand as she plummeted toward the ground. Luckily, Sylvain was there to save both River and the 150-point nugget from an earth-shattering fate, catching both of them safely on his broom. "River has caught the snitch, River Dewlight has caught the snitch!"
