I started planning my next character - even though it’s years away!

For Simon, I was wanting anything but slytherin since it didn’t work for his story. But ultimately he is Hufflepuff and Hufflepuff is Simon. It was the best house for him.

oh dude, gryffindor was always meant to be scouts house lol i dont think i wouldve continued her story if she ended up in another

shes like literally the embodiment of the gryffindor spirit

I've talked about it before briefly, but I envisioned Emily to be in Ravenclaw (this was back when I was still with the original vision for her pre-Hogwarts revamp)

But Hufflepuff ended up being such a better fit for her!

I was sooooo expecting Ravenclaw!

Uncle Colin and Colin's Da, Liam, were both Ravenclaws.

Colin's twin, Liam, is in Ravenclaw!

Colin carefully answered all the Sorting Hat's questions, fully expecting and desperately hoping to be fly high to the eagle's aerie!

But no.

That dratted Sorting Hat sent Colin down into the deepest, dankest, darkest, dampest, and dreariest dungeons that Hogwarts has to offer!

I was hoping for Gryffindor for my character and it ended up working out. She can be quick to anger and it actually works really well with the info on JK Rowling’s Wizarding World wand page for my Holly wand. 😁
