Yes! Same! I had the chance to visit a bunch of Civil War sites a few summers back and it was so cool! I'm hoping to visit more though since we were too late in the day to see inside one of the old forts that still had cannons.Vladislav Liam Gunther wrote: 18 Feb 2026, 14:34 I wish I did, but we were too late! Yeah, that's all stuff I want to see! (Well that's not the only historical thing I want to see, I also want to see the Aon Tower (not necessarily historical, just significant to me as it had the same build as the twin towers), the Ocean Liners before they're all sunk. I think?? the SS United States is to sink this year, unless it was already sunk. I want to see stuff on war history, native american history, and all)
This summer I may get the chance to see a few of the World War 2 sites in Europe! (it's a big maybe though since we haven't decided if we're going to Europe or no this summer.)

One of my favorite places in the US is the Pacific Northwest. I think Colorado is the prettiest state. I live in the Midwest.

@Nick Jameson - ooo am I seeing it right, it's a museum?
@Avery Gray - Last time we visited civil war sites was like 2018. We actually came to one accidently, when driving around georgia without using a map, we wer eexploring places outside of atlanta.
lol I miss seeing these places. It's beautiful, sad but beautiful.

Mom and dad went to colorado one year without us and all dad could tell us is that mom tried driving up the side of one of those mountains and couldn't drive up it, had to switch with dad because mom was afraid she'd drive off the mountain and was having a panic attack and so they had to end up going back down.
In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind, we've gone too far. (Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles)

@Vladislav Liam Gunther, awesome! My family always goes on the unbeaten path and coome across things like that! (meaning randomly finding a cool place)
I understand how your mother felt! There's no way I could drive up a mountain. Especially with no guard rails.
