There was also a price change for everything- the Silver Arrow used to be 60 galleons- and is now 100+ galleons

Usually they will get to you within 2 weeks but right now is very busy since the Fall Ball AND the Hexwizard Tournament are being prepared at the same time. So they might be too busy to take a look at other things right now. Give it another few weeks and if they still haven't approved, you can send another owl. That's just my opinion.

Yes... I remember those days too... it was horrible. It took FOREVER to get a galleon. I was so happy when they made it 10 sickles a day. I literally was saving up FOREVER at 1 sickle a day and felt like I was getting nowhere as everything was 50+ galleons that I wanted and it took me almost 1 full month to get 1 galleon. I was getting depressed over it. But then the new thing happened and we started to get 10 sickles a day and I got so happy about it!

Were things cheaper?

Technically yes they were cheaper. But if you look at it from a different perspective no they were not. Such as the Silver Arrow I'm saving up to get and have been since I started on HiO used to be 60 galleons to get and I got 1 sickle per day. Now the same Silver Arrow is 173 galleons and I get 10 sickles per day. So yes, the Silver Arrow was cheaper before at 60 galleons - whereas now it is 173 galleons. But I got 1 sickle per day then and now I get 10 sickles per day. So yes it was cheaper but no it was not at the same time.
