The owner requested the change due to non-PC navigation issues. I preferred the former navigation myself but there were issues with people accessing the forums on certain devices under a certain pixel screen width. We have attempted to make navigation more intuitive, in some ways we have seen some benefit but there continues to be opportunity.

As for OOC Gryffindor stuff, it is in with the other gryffindor stuff since the area is private to you guys. Also, I have limited pixel length vertically so I would only be able to fit 2 houses unless I made the Gryffindor OC areas 4 forums deep. We have a few areas that are such as Site Information and Announcements. It has been a long-term want to pull them up by one forum while also not requiring a scroll on the banner because that is again challenging on mobile devices.

Ahhh so it's an issue with mobile devices. Gotcha. I don't use mobile, I only use desktop computers. I can't for the life of me do mobile posts or mobile sites, drives me nuts bc I cannot navigate on phones...

Well, a lot of people could not navigate the site on phones... It was an unfortunate change. I liked the old way too, but I do not use my phone on the site unless it was an emergency.

I can't even use the site on my phone even if it was an emergency... unless its to write in ooc chat...

Just a suggestion but a switch or manage accounts button would be great for easier access to our sub-inpcs

Hio doesn't really have a sub account module. What we're currently doing is making another account unlike other sites which had dual account or several sub account modules.

idk if this is the right place for this but there's an error in Special Items under site rules that needs fixing. trenchcoat of sneak is sold at zonko's, not flourish and blotts. also think the list is missing map of the underground hogwarts which gives access to the potions room iirc?

Fixed the location of trenchcoat, thanks! As for the underground map, that used to grant access to forums (Basement area iirc), but it no longer does. However, I will double check this just in case!

Yes, I just confirmed that it does give access to Basements now, so I will readd the item to the special items section of the site rules!
