If you think about it terms of books or series, it's not bad at all.

Chronicles of Narnia is about 345k
LotR is about 575k (probably not counting the Appendices!)
HP is just over 1000k
The Bible is around 780k

Just read those four series and you've got half the challenge right there!

Seriously, picking a couple interesting storylines or writers here and you could probably get the other half!
