i decided to DIY my own chick starter feed because i didn't like the pet store's. so now its getting like 7 types of diff seeds/grains. i have to manually chop some of them up though. its growing quite fast. hasn't even been a week. pic is day 2nd with lilah.

im a hooman with a 1-2 week old chick at their heels convinced im their momma. i've kicked lilah a few times (not v hard but still) and felt very guilty. im sure momma birds do the same sometimes...
