Only for those who are on the team already though, not for people that aren't. I already asked awhile back and they said they only use the broom funds for the active players on the main roster.

You can sign up to be on the Broom Racing team whenever you want. It will be in your House's common room under 'Wanted Broom Racers' thread title. But that doesn't mean you'll get in. It means you'll get placed on the waitlist and whenever a spot opens up, you'll be slotted in. But you don't know when a spot will open up. If you are on the waitlist that means you aren't part of the official team/on the roster. And it goes by first come first serve on the waitlist.

But you can buy minor brooms that aren't that great compared to the high end brooms. They are only like 10-20 galleons I believe. So saving up for like 20 days gives you 10 galleons.
