I have another question.
If my character were a werewolf, and I applied for being a werewolf in her 1st year, which years would she be able to apply for an ability? When would the alternating years begin?
Sorry if that is confusing. Here is a quote where I am getting the information, if that's helpful.

"The ability system is a system where each year a student either gains a skill associated with their race if they are a specialty race every other year alternating with picking a skill from the ability list OR if they are a normal human (that is not a Metamorphmagus, Parselmouth or Seer) they get to pick a skill every year."

First Year- Werewolf
Second Year- Free
Third Year- Werewolf
Fourth Year- Free
Fifth Year- Werewolf
Sixth Year- Free
Seventh Year- Werewolf
there may be another free one but that is unknown as of right now. This is exactly the same with every other race as well.
Also because you are still a first year you would HAVE to apply now. You can not apply in Third year. Only applications made one month after validation are approved.

You would type it in brackets when you're making the title. So like if I was doing that, it would be like

Can iNPCs have pets? I want my Beauxbatons iNPC to have a pygmy puff, but i don't have enough money to buy one and Lucia's getting a cat anyway when I can.

Your dNPC can't have anything in their trunk/inventory that your main character doesn't. This includes pets.

Pretty much what Elaine said regarding pets. Your iNPC can only have brooms you have access to. Spells you have access to. Their difference is their story, face claim, school, stats and abilities. It is a way for you to roleplay and explore a different persona to keep things fresh.
One thing I strongly recommend is making something different from your present one. A lot of people make the mistake of making an NPC that is overly interested in their player character. RPing with yourself gets dull fast. Nothing wrong with being friends/enemies, but use them as an opportunity to mingle with other people and have fresh outlooks.
