I have been informed that Denise hasn't been active recently, and I was wondering if anyone would like another role. (Max: 2 roles per person).

I think we'll start the thread. Okay, so how this is going to work is:
I'll start the thread in Diagon Alley. @Avis Marlong or Harry Potter will Roleplay as him shopping and telling the backstory of how he got his letter. Remember this is our own version of the 1st book so any of the characters can show up at any time. It can be totally different. (For example Draco Malfoy could secretly have a crush on Hermione. Or Hagrid is actually Harry Potter's undercover neighbor.) Make it fun!

At the beginning of each post please include which role you are playing.
Example:
Role: Dumbledore
Time: 1st of September
Location: Great Hall.
etc.

The characters will move around the school, and unless it isn't a significant location, owl me and I can create a new thread in the location you'd like. Here's what I mean:

I do ask to have the posts to be similar to the book. So Harry is still a Seeker in Quidditch and Ron and Hermione are still hid best friends and the Sorcerer's stone is still the key of the book.

I have one more question for you all. Because this is our version of Harry Potter, do you wanna pretend like Dudley (one of the roles you play) is also a wizard? His parents (Harry's uncle and aunt) could roleplay shopping for wizard clothing/school supplies. He will probably get sorted into Slytherin, or something like that and he'll torment Harry his whole time at Hogwarts, teaming up with Draco. You guys can also write flashbacks in the Rp's of how Dudley got his letter, etc.

Let me know what you guys think and this thread will become our 'brain-storming' thread.

Honestly, that seems like a cool idea! I was just wondering, since I'm playing Oliver Wood, would I have to wait to enter the roleplay?

Uhm yes, but while you wait you can play some background students with names you choose.
