Perhaps I was too focused on what was going on around the pitch. This round I just sat there on my broom doing nothing. I don't know what came over me. I haven't been doing much and it seems that I'd joined audience cheering the two teams on. Good news though, the Hufflepuff's final seeker was knocked off her broom and Finnegan scored 3 more times to make the score 100-70. Whilst it was great to see Gryffindor winning, I need to get out of the audience and get back into the game.

No beaters! No beaters left on their team. This was bad. This was the worst. Now they had nobody to protect from the bludgers. Roxette cursed in her mind and on her heart. This couldn't get worsen, right? As she tried to mentioned to keep her head calm under pressure, but the worst was yet to come as Daphne was hitted and knocked off her broomstick. Nevermind! No seekers? No seekers left! No beaters and seekers were left on their team. She needed to keep it together as the only thing left was to either take out and/or keep the opponents too busy whilst they score like no tomorrow. That was the only thing she could think up for Hufflepuff to win by sheer points alone.

With more and more players falling with each passing moment, Atlas knew that the game was quickly getting away from them but she wasn't about to lose hope over it. As long as she still sat on her broom, she would do what she could to keep her team in the game. While she never liked abandoning her posts, they needed to get some pressure on the quaffle. If they could run up the score a bit, it might allow them enough time to figure out the snitch problem.

Atlas wouldn't have the luck of finding an abandoned quaffle, with each attempt to grab being contested she was only able to wrestle it away from Gryffindor a couple of times. While that gave them a couple of quick and easy scores, the other team was clearly getting the better of the exchange. While not in an ideal situation, Atlas refused to lose help as she continued to press forward.

Keepers Catch

Harder to hit on average, 10% on auto-dodge chance that anything that targets this wizard automatically misses. This is rolled separately from the attack roll.

The only saving grace to this game was the fact the rest of his team was making a killing, at least that’s what he could only assume as badgers were knocked out of the game and Gryffindor's points miraculously kept ahead.

Skill, luck or maybe a combination of both, it didn’t matter. They were doing good, but that could easily change. If only his luck with catching that blasted snitch would change-

“This is actually the worst…” Would he ever hear the end of it if he didn’t catch the snitch? He wasn’t sure he could bear Finn getting on his case again after he’d finally begun leaving Elsian be…

They were going to win. Erlea could feel it. Now that half of team Hufflepuff had been knocked out, it was time to claim victory. Erlea knew she shouldn't be counting her chickens before they hatched but she couldn't help it. Her first quidditch game and her first victory. She could just taste it .

Oogie's eyes searched for the guy who had called himself seeker. As she flew by him she rolled her eyes when he appeared to still fly around aimlessly. "Dae ye need glasses or whit?" she asked boldly, Scottish accent thick. To be fair regardless of it possibly being rude, she at least carried her weight in this championship. And could one really blame her for losing patience after the game had already gone on for so long?

CHASERS

Blips of yellow shot through the sky in an intimidating formation—the Hawkshead, of course! The young Gryffindor had snatched up the Quaffle, but Hufflepuff's Keeper blocked it easily, soaring towards Gryffindor's goalposts in a cruel twist of fate. She scored 10 points, a loud ding echoing through the pitch to signify his goal, but Hufflepuff wasn't about to have an easy run. Finnegan's next score attempt was not as easily blocked, and he scored 10 points for Gryffindor. Alyssea then managed to grab the Quaffle, but Erlea was ready this time, and she blocked it with an excellent execution of a Starfish-and-Stick. Finnegan, too, seemed to momentarily lose his streak of luck, with his next goal attempt being blocked by Atlas. He did manage to score again in the end.

SEEKERS

It must have been lonely for Elsian. No one would join him in his pursuit of the ever-elusive golden ball. He had found it, sure, but it seemed so determined to stay just out of reach—whenever he reached for it, it would nearly dart into his grasp and then pull back, as if goading him on, playing with him, doing whatever it could to draw this out. Who would have thought a ball could be rude.

BLUDGERS

Of course, the general lack of bludger activity from each team came with its own detriments. The bludgers were perhaps as rude as the Snitch, and certainly more bloodthirsty at that. One set its cold iron gaze on Atlas, the star Keeper of team Hufflepuff, and rammed into her with a surprising intensity given that no bat was behind its strike. She would be fine, of course, only slightly shaken, if that, but she would not be alone in her torment. Wren of team Gryffindor, who had been ferrying Ethan back to his broom, would not fare any better. A bludger hit her with a vengeance, and while she and Ethan remained on the broom, they, especially Wren, looked worse for wear.
