CL BROOM RACING - RAVENCLAW vs SLYTHERIN - WINTER 2023

Bubba was quite frankly flummoxed. He wasn't sure what the Ravenclaw team were doing but the Slytherins were certainly gaining ground and that wouldn't do. They were so close to the end now and they just had to get across the finish line. As he sat in the stands he let out a very loud cheers to encourage the team on. They were so close to the end now, he could almost taste the team's victory.

Hunter was unsure why, but he decided to stop, no, rather he needed to stop. The paranoia and fears were overtaking him, this win felt way too easy. Perhaps a group of cockatrice were up ahead, or maybe there's a bloody dragon lurking around the place. He wasn't sure what it was, but something urged him to stop and re-think his situation. He couldn't help but be a slave to the over demanding fear that overwhelmed him. Without a second to lose, stopped, and allowed Percival to venture ahead alone. Perhaps the snake would reveal whatever fear was overcoming the boy.

Now Ari was VERY worried. Harper was down for good, and everyone else decided to pause for the time being. A few choice four letter words crossed his mind, but he knew he needed to keep his head in the game to win this race back. They were so close, yet so far. This would be one of the closest races Ari had ever been in. That, he was certain of.

Apparently Slytherin's aim was to attempt and knock out the Ravenclaw team one at a time. Last time it was Harper and they seemed to be aiming for Clair this round, but the Ravenclaw was able to dodge some and only got away with a little bit of damage, definitely not enough to knock her out of the game. It was enough to keep her from being able to hit Colin with a projectile though as her's managed to miss by quite a bit.

How was it that some of the racers were unable to make it through the trees without take the littlest amount of damage, yet this Slytherin was able to make it through these ones with ease. These racers must have upped their game in the middle of the race because he had been no where near hitting any of them and went around them like it was nothing. It was either that or he had just gotten extremely lucky.

June had worked so hard on attempting to make it through this area the first time but a well aimed fFipendo was forcing her to have to do it all over again. Of course the Flipendo did not seem to slow her down any though as she was easily able to make it through the area without the slightest bit of difficulty. Clearly, these racers had gained some confidence in what they were doing.

Ravenclaw was catching up, making their way through the units as if nothing was stopping them. Whatever had caused them to freeze the previous bit had seemed to pass over them because it looked like they still had a chance to win this.

Okay so Hunter had been catching up but apparently he was not fast enough to evade the Devil's Snare was easily able to grab ahold of him. His fellow Ravenclaw was able to get through just ahead of him though, maybe the plant had been too focused on him to care about the first racer. It was unknown what the cause was though but Bloom was back in the race.

They were so close to the end of the race. Only a little bit farther and they would be able to make it. Slytherin and Ravenclaw both had near equal chanced of crossing the finish line. It seemed Percival might have run out of power though as Bloom was able to speed passed him like it was nothing and cross the finish line only a little bit ahead. "That is it! Ravenclaw Wins!" Logan made sure everyone was able to hear, but she doubted they would be able to over the cheering.
