Hello there,

I see you have made edits! However, I have noted an inconsistency with regards to your DOB. Please note that it should be match your profile card. On this note, your profile card says you were born on 12 September 2012 yet on your ency first page and registration, you clearly state that Hitsugaya was born on the 2 July 2012. Please ensure to fix this and choose the correct DOB.

Why is this character trying for this role?
Lydia had always just sort of assumed everyone else had trouble with their bodies too; she'd heard from countless sources that kids tripped over themselves constantly and were always growing and changing. She certainly wasn't the clumsiest kid she knew; there was that kid Thomas at the muggle primary, who tripped every time he got up from his chair and was constantly spilling during lunch and snack time. Sure, her brothers were perhaps a little bit more ... put together? than her, smoother somehow, but they were older, and had had much more time to practice and get used to their bodies.

At least that's what she always told herself. She knew from Mum that Mum's grandma (imagine! Mum having a grandma! Lydia actually couldn't imagine that, but assumed it must have happened, strange though it sounded) had been a metamorphagus, but Mum *really* hadn't gotten along with her grandma. It sounded like some sort of horrible drama from one of those too dramatic books, where her great-grandma had somehow thought she was better than the rest of them for having some talent, which really only meant she'd won out in the genetic lottery. Lydia didn't know the details, but Mum always seemed sad and withdrawn when she talked about great-grandma, and Lydia really didn't want to cause any more hurt by having the same talent. Mum had said she would love Lydia just the same if Lydia was a metamorphagus, but she'd also kept reiterating that sometimes accidental magic also surfaced as appearance changes, and she was sure it would fade after some time. Besides, as far as they all knew, Dad had had nobody magical in his family, ever, and as they understood it, metamorphagi had to have magical heritage on both sides.

There was also the matter of Ian -- as a middle brother without magic sandwiched between two siblings who had magic, she'd always felt he'd gotten rather unlucky. He said he didn't care, and was going to be an engineer just like Dad, and make more money than the rest of them put together, changing the world to boot. And it seemed somewhat true, at least. He was constantly tinkering, and making robots to "ease their life at home," but Lydia couldn't help but notice that he tensed up every time magic was mentioned or briefly performed. And as Sebastian was much older than her, and in more control of his magic, and their mum really only used boring household magic that didn't really even count as magic, Lydia really felt it was mostly her wild emotion driven magic that Ian was reacting to.

She couldn't really help herself when she was younger, she knew that -- her hair would shift colors based on her mood, and there was a while when she had gotten really into chameleons where her hair colour would subconsciously mimic her surroundings. These sorts of things still happened to her regularly, seemingly tied to particularly strong emotions, and, unfortunately, Lydia had always been someone of extremely strong conviction and moods.

Almost subconsciously, she'd tried to make the events less conspicuous, and as she'd gotten older, she thought she'd gotten a little more successful. At least now, sometimes it was her eyes changing color, or fingernails growing longer. And god bless muggle science -- with some help from Ian, they'd dyed the tips of her hair all different colours of the rainbow. It didn't quite mask the changing colours, but made it a little less obvious, and the colours did change less and less. By the end of year 2, she'd even got a little better at toning down her emotions, and the changes were less dramatic. And who knows, maybe Mum was right -- accidental magic could sometimes be appearance based. Dad wasn't a wizard. She might not be a metamorphagus after all, just a typical human girl, who also happened to be a witch, with a bit of a proclivity for hairstyles, but nothing more abnormal than that.

Physical description
Fairly active, normal, 11 year old. Lydia is a metamorphagus, so appearance shift, but typically eyes are brown, hair is red, freckles across face; medium height for age, somewhat stronger than most 11 year old girls. Hair color tends to change when she's stressed. Constant scrapes and bruises from climbing trees & generally being outside with minor disregard or understanding for her health/well being.

Mental description
Cheerful & sunny disposition, excited to learn more about the world. Curious and kind. Doesn't like doing things unless they make sense to her, so will sometimes disregard rules assuming they don't apply in specific situations. Very physically active, and reliant on physical activity as an extension of mental state; moods are often reflected in physical capability.

Character backstory:
Lydia grew up in Dundee, with her father, mother & two older brothers. Her mum and dad are married; her mum is a witch, who works with getting squibs placed in decent situations, and her dad works as a biomedical engineer. Lydia and her siblings always used to giggle about this -- imagine, spending all that time studying science, only to discover later that magic exists. Science must have huge knowledge gaps in it. But their marriage seems to work, and Lydia and her siblings have been relatively happy.

Having two siblings meant that Lydia has never been lonely. She had always had a playmate readily available, even if they were being stupid and wanted to avoid her; it turns out that spying on your boring playmate who is doing their homework is still a relatively viable game. All the Walsh's were fairly active -- Lydia's brothers had been playing football for a long time, but she'd always preferred the freedom of just running around, climbing trees, doing handstands, swimming, and racing geese in the park.

Things changed a bit when Lydia was six -- her oldest brother, Sebastian, was confirmed to be magical, and shipped off to boarding school. Lydia & her middle brother Ian, were brokenhearted, and spent a lot of time imagining what they would do when they too, could go to magic school. But Ian never showed any magical talent whatsoever; he kept thinking he would, but nothing ever happened. Ever. Ian said he didn't mind, and threw himself into maths & robotics, but Lydia always felt there was something just a little bit untrue about that declaration, and especially with the fervor which with Ian threw himself into muggle subjects. But Ian has always been there for her, so she's never mentioned that, and their relationship appears unchanged and is currently stable.

Lydia's scared their relationship will fade once she's at Hogwarts, and scared to be away from home, but extremely excited to meet new people and explore Hogwarts, and figures she can send *lots* of letters back home. (and perhaps mobile phones will even work at Hogwarts. She's unsure, her family hasn't kept the most up to date with how modern technology and magic fare together; typically at home, they tend towards a more muggle style of living)

First instance of magic:
There have been various instances of metamorphmagic back from when Lydia was a toddler (mostly in the form of hair colour changing), but her first instance of non-metamorphmagic was when she was five, and at a friend's birthday party. As per usual, Lydia was enthusiastically playing, this time on a trampoline; she got so caught up in the excitement of the trampoline that she bounced off it, heading straight for the hard pavement underneath and a certain broken arm at least. Fortunately, her magic kicked in at that point, and she safely bounced off the hard ground. Lydia, of course, didn't even really register the potentially extremely dangerous event, nor the oddness of her bouncing off the ground, and went right back to playing on the trampoline.

Bran, despite his earnest attempts to learn more, knew fairly little about his long-deceased mother or her life before she and his father had been married. She’d been estranged from her family, he’d eventually learned, leaning against the thin part of the wall and listening to the nanny and his father talk through the wood. There’d been some sort of falling out in her last year at Hogwarts, an escalation of a disagreement about her choice in career, and in the end, she’d spent the last eight years of her life without speaking with the Glynn family at all.

That meant, in turn, that he knew next to nothing at all about the maternal side of his family. He’d found out little details here and there, such as his grandfather’s name - Cadell - and that they lived on the outskirts of Cardiff, and maybe even found a record of a Seer with the Glynn surname who’d lived in the 1800s in a book about the history of divination in the British Isles.

For all he knew, though, his mother had been just another witch, and her family just another wizarding family.

And then, one day, watching his father working with a newly acquired barn owl, he’d been struck with such an intense feeling of dread he almost couldn’t stand to stay in the mews. When his father had noticed his nervousness and asked him what was wrong, Bran found himself struggling to put the feeling into words. Finally, though -

“That owl is going to hurt someone one day.”

His father, who’d been breeding and training owls for the wizarding world for years, had been quick to reassure him that the young bird would be fine. But Bran never could shake his hesitation.

Every time he saw that owl, its tawny feathers, the white dish of its face, the particular arrangement of black bars on its wings, that awful thought ran through his mind, that terrible feeling that that owl was going to hurt someone one day.

A month or so later, his father had stormed into the kitchen, one hand held tightly to his chest, the other pulling open the cabinet where they kept all their healing supplies. He grabbed one potion out of the mix, tore the cork out with his teeth, and finally pulled his hand away from his chest to dump the contents of the bottle over his palm.

“Da,” Bran gasped, seeing the bloody furrows torn across his hand. “What happened?” He jumped from his chair, abandoning the sandwich he'd been picking at, and ran closer. “Do you need me to get someone…?”

“No,” his father grunted. “The potion will take care of it. Damn that bird,” he growled under his breath, grimacing as his skin began to knit itself back together.

And Bran froze, that same strange feeling that had been haunting him from the mews stealing through his spine again, like when he'd almost taken a bad step on the stairs or when the water in the bath was too cold, shivery and cold and empty.

“Which bird?”

“Hmm?” His father was still focused on his hand, on the blood finally starting to slow.

“Which bird?”

“That damn barn owl. How you knew-” And his father…hesitated, his voice trailing off. “How you knew it would be aggressive.. is beyond me…?”

“I don't know, “ Bran said, curling into himself a bit at his father's questioning tone. And he didn't know, he'd just looked at it and thought… “I looked and it and thought it was dangerous.”

For a long moment, his father just looked at him, lost in thought. It took Bran passing him a towel to wipe off the blood and leftover potion to shake him out of it, and even then he was still quiet when he said “Well, let me know if you have any more thoughts of the sort.”

In hindsight, that hadn't even been his first feeling, just the most notable. Several times, when he'd been walking home or when he'd been meandering around the house he'd had moments where his stomach had dropped, when he'd pivoted and stepped to the left just before someone rushed through a door or when he’d hidden himself in the bushes just as his usual band of neighborhood tormentors had come howling and cackling down the lane. This was just the first he'd been able to put words to, and what it meant for him…

Well, he didn't know yet, but he had a feeling he was going to find out eventually, regardless of how many grey hairs it was going to give him.

Bran was born to new parents Eryr and Celyn one crisp November morning, becoming the latest addition to the old pureblooded Aderyn family. While he had a happy start in life, fate turned it into a sober affair soon enough. After his mother Celyn’s death following a spellcasting accident, his father Eryr largely withdrew into himself, losing himself in his work caring for his aviary. Oh, Bran had almost anything a wizarding child could want, toy brooms and enchanted candies and trips to all the big magical communities in Europe, but his day-to-day care was largely left to a succession of nannies, butlers, and tutors.

For all that, Bran’s childhood wasn't unhappy. He had the run of the house, and he made the most of it, curling up in the family library or taking adventures over the hill as he saw fit. It gave him an appreciation for his independence and for quiet solitude, and perhaps added to his reputation as an old soul. And, while their relationship is, perhaps, more strained than some other father-son bonds, Bran and his father Eryr still have a mutual respect for one another, and a more subtle sort of love.

His fascination with learning, and with his need to discover how things work, have left him with an eye for detail. When he’s left to his own devices, he turns that into a desire to create and experiment. Without a wand, and without a firm grasp of the basics, his creations - would-be wands and paintings he’d prod in an effort to inspire movement - were little more than half-finished ideas, but with...he can hardly wait to see what he can do with a wand and an education.

While Bran has few specific goals for his time at Hogwarts - with so much still to learn, how could he possibly plan now? - he knows he wants two things out of his experience: an understanding of the deepest forms of magic, and to find a way to make his mark on the world, however big or small.

Bran was never the most sociable child with others his age. His preference for quiet and his sharp tongue had alienated him early on with the wizarding peers he might have had, and his family's reputation as 'strange folk' among the Muggle community had taken care of anyone else his age who might have made overtures of friendship.

That's how he found himself alone and in frustrated tears one wintry day, only a month or so out from his fifth birthday. The other neighborhood children had seen him playing in the fresh snowbank and were taking turns pelting him with snowballs, one after another after another.

All it took to push him over the edge into true anger was for one last snowball to arc perfectly through the air, smashing against his glasses and blinding him with the white powder. He'd screamed something - 'Stop it!', maybe, or 'Quit!', he could never quite remember - and then it was the other children yelping and scrambling away.

Summoned by his shout, his father had jogged out into the yard, voice stern as he ordered the others away and gathered Bran up to carry him back inside.

Through his feeble attempts to clean his face and clear off his glasses, Bran caught one last glance at the neighborhood children as they ran for their own homes, and through his teary vision, he'd been able to see how each and every one of them looked as though they'd been the ones on the receiving end of the snowball volley.

On November 7th, 2013, Hemelyn and Edgar Ward merged names.

A squirmy child born at home, Edlyn was the first, and only, little Ward to be born above the diminutive jewelry shop at the edge of town, a building one might barely notice they are welcome in unless they leaned in close to the front door to read, in fine lettering, “Backwards Jewelers” – Hemelyn thought she was very clever for coming up with that one. This discretion was intentional, a far cry from the large signage and marketing tactics that define most other businesses, for the Wards didn’t make money from their jewelry. At least, not the jewelry they sold to people who could just walk into their store through the front door.

Down in the basement, Edgar welds and charms. Bracelets that pull you where you’d like to go. Self stirring spoons. Snitches for amateur Quidditch leagues. When Hemelyn comes back from her latest delivery, she hangs her coat on the rack, smooches husband and daughter, and swiftly runs off again, packaging up whatever items were bought recently and flying off to her next location. While Edlyn sits upstairs behind the counter, swinging her legs far above the floor and practicing her cursive using the guides her father made for her, Mr. and Mrs. Ward run their real business.

Despite the small living, a distinction from the elegance and aristocratic tendencies characteristic of wizards of their kind, the Wards identify as purebloods through and through. Muggle marriages are messy, their habits basic and uninspiring. When the clock strikes 5 and Edlyn locks the doors, the house hums with magic. Excitedly running to her room, flying up the runed stairs, passing by magical objects, portraits, omens, she runs into her dad’s arms, and storytime begins. The term storytime may be doing it a bit of a disservice – their library is diverse. Long novels following the adventures of witches and wizards living in witch-y and wizard-y worlds, magical instruction manuals, arithmancy textbooks, history of great wizarding battles, well-illustrated magazines of magical pets and companions. The next day, Edlyn would take what she learned with her to her desk downstairs, staring starry-eyed at mystical star charts in between times tables and standard English literature.

As Edlyn began to grow, lengthening legs shooting out of now-too-short skirts, she began to envy the seemingly robust wizarding communities that existed elsewhere. She saw places like London with magic seemingly bursting at the seams, and then had to go out into her predominantly muggle town to grab tomatoes from the grocer. Her father doused her in a traditional, magic-based education, teaching world history from the perspectives of wizards, teaching literature through wizard poetry, and math with the knowledge of 7’s magical properties. But whenever she left their little townhouse, there was a profound disconnect between the great wizarding world her parents let her peer into and her world, the world she had to face when a muggle walked in looking for a necklace for her girlfriend or one of her few muggle friends invited her over.

Edlyn was sitting at her windowsill, watching the last street dwellers find their way home, when her owl came. She knew it was coming. But watching the feathery friend land on the frame, sealed letter in beak, represented something more than her next step in life. It was a chance to be surrounded by wizards, by greatness. To immerse herself in a world she never got to indulge in beyond the confines of her home and sparse trips to London. To truly become a witch.

Being the one and only Ward born to a couple who, for the longest time, was assumed to not be having children makes family reunions very fun.

Grandma Sonja sat directly across from her, making it difficult to detach from the conversation. At her side, Aunt Esther and Uncle Rupert. One of their children, Florence, was in the kitchen helping herself to snacks. She was much older than Edlyn, working in something she knew brought in plenty of galleons and made Grandma Sonja very proud. The other, Thomas, was hiking in the Himalayas, or backpacking the Andes, or stargazing in the outback – “finding himself”, Florence would often put it. Sonja would often follow by asking when he’d search something other than mountains.

“What is Edlyn up to now?” Grandma tilted her head towards her. Edlyn’s eyes darted to her father as he started to detail how they were maintaining a rich, magical education, how she got out plenty, and how she was making friends with a young witch a few years younger and a few kilometers away. Edlyn didn’t bother to mention how they weren’t friends and how her hands are always slimy from collecting toads for her mother, and she will insist on hugging you and rubbing those sticky hands all over your nice outing clothes, but she knew dad didn’t like it when Sonja insinuated they move back in with family in London. It’s like seeing shark-infested waters and jumping back in, her mom often chimed when Edlyn pried as to why.

“And has she, you know…” Sonja started, “You both were pretty early. I’d expect her to be bursting at the seams by now.” She wagged her finger around in the air, keeping it pointed towards Edlyn.

“Well, no, not yet…” Hemelyn’s words drifted out, clear but drawn. As she was drawing out her words, Sonja cut in with a sharp hmm, before going on about how she knew it had to be coming soon, how she could feel it in her bones. She’s been feeling it in her bones since age 3 – Edlyn had just finished the 3rd grade. Both of her parents had clear signs since, essentially, the beginning. When their Hogwarts letters arrived, there was no mistake.

Edlyn’s face began to tighten, her jaw clenching. She hadn’t done much of a remarkable, well, anything. Was having a non-magical child much of a step-up over no child at all? Follow the family tree, trace your finger through the births and the deaths, the marriages and divorces, and you find Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hogwarts. Her parents reassured her that she must just be a very controlled witch, focused and intentional with her magic. Edlyn, despite their efforts, was still convinced she’d end up behind a Maccy’s stove making burgers by hand, the first non-witch to come out of the Ward family.

“Excuse me,” she said, voice firm but not overpowering. Her face was growing red now as thoughts flooded through, cascading through deeply entrenched valleys of worry in her mind. She just had to get away, somewhere less charged, somewhere a little more private.

Heading to the kitchen, she saw Florence leaning over her book, quill floating and writing lots and lots of sprawling notes in the margins as she finished off her food.

“What are you up to?” Edlyn asked.

“Work,” Florence responded curtly, before forking another spoonful into her mouth. Edlyn peered over her book and saw magical inscriptions she couldn’t come close to deciphering, nothing even her minimal knowledge of runes could make out. Another fantastically magical area of her life she’s left out of. What was she doing? Too magical to live in ignorance and embrace an ordinary life, too… incapable? dumb? to be a witch. Her eyes felt wet. To avoid embarrassing herself in front of Florence, she shut her eyes, just for a moment. She needed something to clear the lump in her throat.

Something cold, incredibly cold, entered her hand. A skinnier object, smooth to the touch and slightly less cold, entered her other hand. Startled, she opened her eyes, to see plates shoved out of the way, appetizers and magical herbs and stools pushed out of their way, pantry doors wide open and the food that was supposed to be being kept cold with the charms placed on the pantry was splayed on the floor. In her hands? Ice cream. In bowl, begging to be eaten. Florence stared, wide-eyed. Despite the mess, Edlyn couldn’t help but smile.

Ella Wang lived in a quiet household, with only her, her parents, and her little brother, Jayden. From a young age, she had loved to read books and write her own pieces sometimes. She also loved playing chess, and often played with her brother, even though she always won.

Ella Wang is a quiet and sensible girl, and even though she seemed like she wanted to be alone most of the time, she secretly loved company and wanted a friend who would understand her, not judge her, and make her feel welcomed and not nervous. Normally, her family are the only people she could freely talk to without overthinking her expression, voice, or words, but she was hoping to change that at Hogwarts.

Ella's little brother is 2 years younger than her, and their relationship could be described as the usual sibling relationship- annoying but in the playful type. Jayden loved to prank his big sister, and Ella would repay him by a playful swat.

Ella also liked having routines, and hung a schedule on her bedroom door to look at every day before breakfast. She was slightly panicking as she received her letter, as she didn't have a routine to follow at Hogwarts, and was worrying about all kinds of things, such as if she would go to the wrong class at the wrong time, or if she would forget where she was supposed to be. Fortunately, the students were all kind and mostly just as confused as she was, and she received a timetable.

Ella Wang always overthought things before she did them, and she was constantly worrying about things like studying or how other people would judge her. Over the years, she learnt she didn't need to overthink anything that much, but she still couldn't break out of the habit. Ella isn't really good at managing situations under pressure, or a time limit.

First instance of Magic:

Ella's first instance of accidental underage magic was when she was 7 years old. Her brother decided to scare her by lowering a fake spider onto the book she was reading, and Ella, alarmed, turned the spider into the paper and paint that Jayden used to make it. She was half-thrilled, half-annoyed at Jayden.

Character Backstory: With a Pureblooded Squib mother, and a Muggleborn father, Roman grew up with a foot in each world. He went to a private Muggle school (the same one as his mother), and would spend summers with his Pure-Blood grandparents, in the wizarding world. Despite his odd linage, his family didn’t care whether he grew up to be a Wizard or not, but he always hoped to gain magic. When his magic manifested, and his letter arrived, tears were shed on both sides.
His mother never got the chance to shop for her own Hogwarts supplies, or get her own letter, and she knew first hand how painful being left out could be. She might have lived slightly vicariously through her only child during the shopping trip to Diagon Alley. In fact, due to his grandparents’ seemingly endless doting, he was given more than just the list of supplies – even if he didn’t actually bring them with him to school.
Because of his inquisitive nature, his family knew he would end up in either Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, although his father did secretly hope for another Hufflepuff in the family… and maybe another Quittich player. However, despite his love of sports, such as soccer, Roman himself isn’t sure if he’d enjoy the Wizard game.
With his mother working as a Muggle doctor, and his father working for the Ministry of Magic, Roman had great role models right at home. When he was young, he had thought he’d go into healing, as his mother had, but overtime, his plans have changed. With an increased presence in the Wizarding World, he saw more and more discrimination and hate for Squibs, like his mother… Because of this he now wishes to work for the Ministry as well, changing the laws and increasing protections for the Squibs in the region. (WC: 304)
First Instance of Magic: 'He loves sports, playing soccer on his school team, yet also excelled in his classes, often spending time reading, learning about both worlds, both so filled with wonder. In fact, his first accidental magic was because of his reading! He was so engrossed in a book on magical creatures that he didn't even notice a volume across the room had begun to float; not until his mother walked in and nearly had a heart attack!'

Coming from a mixed-blood family, she received Muggle education before the age of eleven and performed quite well academically. She's well-adapted to both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, and understands the rules of both.

Her mother, Elowen Wrenford, is a highly skilled Auror. Though a bit strict with Rosaline growing up, she is nevertheless full of love for her. Her father, Julian Everhart, is a professor of English literature who has guided Rosaline into the world of books since she was little.

In their family moments, they watched old films, shared music, talked about everything and nothing, and cherished the time they had together. Rosaline has enjoyed a warm and nurturing family life.

Both Julian and Elowen believed that it was best for Rosaline to be familiar with both worlds. As a result, things like the internet, television, cars, and household appliances were a natural part of life at home. In addition to having a basic understanding of Muggle programs, art, and culture, Rosaline would also accompany Elowen on trips to Diagon Alley for shopping, and stayed in touch with Elowen’s side of the family. Through cousins who had already started school, she also learned a bit about what life at Hogwarts would be like.

First Instance of Magic:

When she was five, an accident revealed her magical powers for the first time. Trying to save the family’s black cat, Golden—who was chasing a bird outside an open second-floor window—Rosaline fell out of the window while trying to catch her. In that moment, her magic flared uncontrollably, and she found herself floating midair, holding tightly onto Golden.

Character Special Race/Talent: Applying For Part-Veela
Reducio
Born to a wizarding family in France, Rial’s Veela heritage comes from his mother, a Pure Veela, His parents met when his father was visiting his family in France, he was walking through one of the magical communities there when he met his mother, over time they grew closer and closer, before Rafeal finally asked her out and then proposed to her. When they got married Rafeal stayed in France until Rial was 3, the reason they didn't move back to London was because Cassiopeia didn't want to leave her family but after a while she finally agreed to move to London.

From early childhood, Rial exhibited subtle but unmistakable signs of a Veela. Rial’s presence has always had a charm. His beauty is not just physical, though his features and are hard to ignore, but is enhanced by a magical allure, a Veela gift that manifests as an entrancing aura. This often causes people to be drawn to him, and occasionally makes conversations with others awkward or intense, especially with those that are vulnerable to Veela charm.

Rial’s allure is not something he consciously wields; rather, it is a part of who he is. It mainly happens when he gets excited or gets into an intense moment like when hes debating a new Herbology theory, or defending a friend. His Veela magic also subtly amplifies his charm, people often finding themselves wanting to impress him or earn his approval. And while Rial has learned to lessen this effect with humor, he's aware that his allure can be overwhelming, and he tries to use it responsibly, never exploiting the effect for personal gain unless he has to.

Rial’s Veela heritage is evident in his striking appearance, his deep purple hair, warm brown eyes, and inviting smile are all tinged with an dreamy beauty. Even his casual, baggy clothing cannot disguise the graceful way he moves. However, Rial’s allure is not limited to looks; it is a magical presence, an entrancing effect that can cause others to lose focus or feel a strong desire to be near him. This has caused both admiration and envy in his classmates, and Rial has learned to tell when relationships are different because emotions may be intensified by magic rather than a true connection.

This is one of the reasons why Rial is so close to Felix, because Felix didn't become friends with Rial because of the allure but rather because he liked Rial in general. And Rial could tell that he was truly friends with him not because of the Veela allure but because of Rials personality. And Rial felt so good about that because Felix was such a nice person to him so it was a great relief knowing that.

Rial’s Veela bloodline is a source of both pride and struggle. Rial, is aware that Veela magic is often misunderstood by most and can be a source of prejudice in the Wizarding World. His family’s openness and warmth have helped him accept his heritage, encouraging him to embrace his heritage.

Early Life
Reducio
Rial Sol was born on October 15, 2013, in a manor at Plage d'Étretat in Normandy. He grew up in a lively, close knit wizarding family, before he moved back to London he and Tara would always play, well Tara would tickle him and he would flop around on the floor till he could walk, when Rial was 2 Zen was born, and about a year after that they were getting for the move back to London. He was the middle child between his older sister Tara, already making her mark at Hogwarts, and his younger brother Zen, who still attends primary school. Rial’s parents are respected Herbologists who run a small but thriving herbologist business from their home, which you could always hear laughter from, and the scent of fresh herbs, of course there the occasional magical mishap every now and then, but nothing to major.

Family
Reducio
Rials family is originally from France with his fathers family in Normandy and his mothers in Giverny. And when Rials father, Rafael, became of age he moved to London and started a herbology business. when he was 22 he moved back to France, where he met Rials mother, Cassiopeia. They grew closer over the year, until Rafael asked her out and then proposed, once they were married they had a baby whom they named Tara, when Tara was the age of 4 they had Rial, and then when Rial was 3 they had Zen, they then proceeded to move back to London because Rafael Finally managed to convince Cassiopeia.

Physical Traits and Style
Reducio
Rial stands out in a crowd, this is because of his hair, a deep royal purple, this was dyed by his sister, it was a bold choice that never fails to draw attention. His warm brown eyes and inviting smile make him approachable, while his round, wire-rimmed glasses and small silver stud earrings add a touch of originality. Rial prefers to wear comfortable, baggy clothes, that, obviously, were purple.

Personality and Values
Reducio
Rial can be quick-witted and quite snarky when he wants to, and is best known for his dry sense of humor and being calm under pressure. While he can be distant around strangers, often keeping to himself, he is extremely loyal to his friends and always stands up for what he believes is right, even if it makes others dislike or hate him. Hes great in problem solving, and he approaches life with curiosity. Even though Rial may seem like a well behaved person he is actually quite mischievous, a result of his friendship with Felix. When stressed, Rial finds peace in books, losing himself and track of time in stories and knowledge, something that he gained from spending hours in the library at home. And if you haven't already guessed his favorite color is purple.

Friendships and Social Life
Reducio
Although Rial never quite fit in at his local school, he maintained a close friendship with Felix, and they always seemed to get into trouble. When Felix was 7 His Parents were killed in a train crash, causing him to be orphaned. Felix then started to live with The Sols, who had become his legal guardian until he's seventeen. Rial’s circle is small but meaningful, he values actual meaningful friendships over the amount of friends in his friendship.

Motivations and Aspirations
Reducio
Rial’s upbringing in a family of Herbologists has instilled in him a love for nature and a respect for the Wizarding world’s mysteries. He is driven by a desire to learn everything there is about Magical nature. rial has always had a fascination with Unspeakables and one day hopes to be one. His loyalty, curiosity, and resilience make him a steadfast friend and a promising young wizard, ready to carve his own path while staying true to the values instilled by his family.

First Instance of Magic:
Reducio
Rial's first experience with magic was at the age of seven. He forgot his lines for the school play and, in a backstage panic, wished that he could remember his lines. The script pages then appeared in front of him, opening to the exact scene he needed. His classmates were amazed, thinking it was a clever trick, but Rial knew that something else had taken place. His parents celebrated by making him his favorite dinner.

Character Statistics: Stamina - 6, Evasion - 5, Strength - 7, Wisdom - 6, ArcPower - 6, Accuracy - 5

Character Special Race/Talent: None, only human.

Character Backstory: Brighton James Raphael Harper was born in London, England and is the only son of Hogwarts graduate James Harper and Beauxbatons graduate Francine Harper (née Bellecourt). After his birth, Brighton and his family moved to Aberfeldy, Scotland, an all wizarding community where Brighton grew up learning about magic from his pureblood family.

Brighton and his family lived in a small cottage on the outskirts of Aberfeldy. His father worked as a high ranking Ministry Auror who was stationed to monitor the region from dark witches and wizards. His mother owned a wizarding bookshop where Brighton would spend a lot of time meeting other fellow wizards and witches. Each year, Brighton and his family would travel to Paris, France to spend the summer and winter holidays with his mother’s side of the family. During the fall and spring, while both of his parents were hard at work with their careers, Brighton was tutored by their family friend, Michaela Nuvelle, a Hogwarts graduate that attended the same year as his father’s.

When Brighton received his Hogwarts letter, his family was very proud of him. On his father’s side, Brighton’s ancestors were either from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. There has not been a single Slytherin or Ravenclaw in the establishment of the Harper House. However, all that changed when Brighton stepped into the Great Hall, had the Sorting Hat placed on his head, and was the first in his family to be sorted into Ravenclaw. While his father would have enjoyed having another Gryffindor in the family, he was still proud of Brighton. His mother, of course, was thrilled to hear of his sorting into Ravenclaw.

First Instance of Magic: Just weeks after turning seven years old, Brighton went to help his mother at her bookshop to restock some shelves. Francine had just received a shipment of books that Brighton was looking forward to helping his mother. Brighton had enjoyed working at his mother's bookshop so when she had asked for him to assist with stocking the bookshelves, he was excited. Upon entering the store, his mother cleared a table for them to start stacking books. Brighton was responsible for placing the books upon the table and sorting them based on the title. Each book would have its own pile to inventory. Brighton was given the first few books, three to be exact of all different titles. When he would start the pile, he turned to get the next few copies but when he went back to the table, he noticed that the three books that Brighton had just placed had vanished! He blinked for a moment and wasn't sure what happened. He dropped the second set of books that were in his hands and when he turned to tell his mother and show him, the three original copies on the table reappeared on the table! Brighton rubbed his eyes, unable to believe what had happened.
