And yeah, I honestly can't see HP without the mild threat and stuff. It's just IC consequences I need to be careful of and magic as a means of self defence outside of school (which is proving to be a lil difficult to confirm atm)

I think the general go is to not describe explicit torture of anyone or too much gore. That has to happen "off screen".

Ain't got any qualms with that The most I can compare what I'm thinking for my characters would be something out of Coraline or like the Lost Boys (without the over the top vampire kills)
