I see both you and Noah's point and agree with both of them.

For main rps where we have actual plots etc... I'd want the 200 w/c minimum because it's not that much to do. If you do less than that it seems as if you're missing something, if we had it lowered, I'd recommend 150 since writing any less than that always makes me feel as if you don't get enough information. Personally, I don't care how long it is, as long as my partner gives me something to respond to. A lot of people (not on this site) have responded to my post with just a reaction to what my character said/did and didn't move the story along at all. That's what annoys me the most.

But there are 2 other special circumstances where I feel that the w/c shouldn't have a minimum requirement at all to do. Mostly because it's a pain to do it and I don't think it's necessary.

1) When you're playing a game in a club such as T/D and you need quick rapidfire responses etc... For dares, 100% you need to meet the minimum w/c (200 words). But for truths, they are literally just questions. So therefore, you can do it OOC but IC if that makes sense. Currently, our T/D club does just that. It's a kind of OOC/IC and IC kind of club in that regard. Since the truths take place in a forum where the w/c doesn't apply as most of it is OOC, it works. And the dares usually take place in actual threads where you meet the w/c (200 words), or in the OOC Let's Chat thread.

Mafia is also a tactical game where it was originally designed to be OOC/IC where you don't write posts, you literally just write a few sentences and try and trick others into revealing who they are, or to manipulate others into voting for the people you want to vote for and get what you want so you can win in the end. But I made it into a posting game instead of that, so you actually write posts (200 words) for it, which is slightly different, although the majority of the game is exactly the same other than that. I had 1 other exception but since I'm on my meds and nothing is making sense to me I forgot what it was... ahahah this is why I can't do posts now. I won't make sense lol

I think the w/c should still be 200 in general for all rps. But when it comes to certain types of clubs, it should have the option of being lowered in certain cases to a small amount like how they do it in duels. In duels the w/c is 50 words. So I think for certain clubs that meet the requirement, w/c should also be 50 words. Such as T/D but only when it comes to the truth ones.

For actual posts that are RP related it should always be 200 w/c.

There should never be a maximum w/c because that would put too many limits on things. Some people have things to say in their posts and they might not be able to say it all if there's a max.
