Discord is a social media/chat type site. It's completely seperate from hio, but there is an official hio server on there which you can join if you want to. However, it does require making an account on a whole other site, so it's not obligatory. Personally, I don't have a discord account, but many people on here do

Homework won't be unlocked until you have (1) spent at least ten days on the site and (2) made at least 20 posts (an easy way to get your posts in is by joining in some games). When it is unlocked, though, you'll find a 'report card' option in the regular menu which you can click on to get homework.


There are a few ways to earn money, so I'll list them below:
• If you visit your dorm forum every day, you can get a sickle. This updates every twenty-three hours.
• If you have the species 'part-goblin', there is a sub-forum in Gringotts which you can enter, where you can get another sickle every twenty-three hours.
• Some errands will have money as a reward, so you might like to join some of those.
• If you're good at art, graphics, or basically anything which people might like, you could make a shop in this forum and ask people to donate money for your services. Shops aren't the best way to earn money though, in my opinion, because it all depends on how many customers you have.
• Members of staff (in student accounts, that would be prefects and (co)captains of house sport teams) are paid for their efforts.
