Oh no it's fine!

I'm supposed to be a cleaner for student housing (so scrubbing down student bedrooms, living areas etc) but due to a "lack of work" (their words, not mine - not that I believe 'em) I've been doing a bunch of small jobs, including legionella inspections, kitchen inspections, replacing tap stickers and small essentials. Not all bad, just disorganised at times

Which is bizarre to me.
Imagine if you will - a building with three apartment blocks/divisions, each with eleven floors in each, with between 5-8 flats on each floor, and each flat up to 6 rooms... It sounds like a lot and even with our team (which is no more than 8, though there's another company that works with us and there's nearly an army of them...) it somehow still isn't enough to go round for everyone to clean *sigh*

At least there's some others to help! That's always a good thing!

Hehe yeah. As much as it annoys me to be told there's "not enough rooms to clean," (I'm a bit of a stickler for details in a way - If I'm assured something, I expect it. A bit uptight of me I know) there is something satisfying about being able to wander about and take my time with what I've been filling time with while watching everyone else clean hair and grime off manky showers

Ah, the "glamorous parts" of some jobs. We've all got them

Hopefully I'll find something a little more flexible... Something tells me a 5hr shift will collide with uni when I eventually go back
