You are allowed to make dNPCs (characters that you can't roleplay per se, but characters you can make to add to your story) - these can be family members, friends "before Hogwarts" and so on.

There has been "conflict" in the past with dNPCs but they should be within site lore and rules if that makes sense?

You can be your own antagonist (I had one, Clark Baird)

There's a few Lear npcs around, such as Gideon Athantos [I call him giddy boy ]

I have about 10 antagonist dNPCs and the urge to have them ram-sack Hogwarts is very strong

I ended up just giving up on dnpcs because I don't really have uses for them :hfdistorted: because it mostly has to be from your pc's pov

I'm honestly alright with that - each experience is different for everybody

I just have a whole load since much of them are good hurdles for Em's story - to have other players tag along for the ride adds to the fun

Understandable. I ended up making a dnpc (Octavius Baird) become a PC when I became professor so Clark's dad came to life and I could rp as both.

I suppose I'm right in saying that you can't go too mad with danger/conflict/life and death situations between PCs and dNPCs - as in having another Wizarding War or something that by in large affects the school even though it's only really a specific event to your own PC.
