Name of the skill you're applying for: Evasive Maneuvers
Describe why it's a good fit for your character (not why you, the player, want it)[/i]:
Kiara's gaze has always been very attentive, largely due to her very closed nature. She never limits herself to simply observing what happens, but tends to linger on details that people always ignore but which prove essential to understanding what they are about to do or what they are thinking in that moment, such as the small movements of their hands, the tension of their contracting muscles, the various changes and shifts in their gaze and posture.
Over time, these details began to connect in her mind, allowing her to foresee what was about to happen in advance. It's not like "seeing the future," but similar. This ability developed little by little, growing with her and increasing her experience over the years. Since she was a child, she has never been impulsive or inclined to direct confrontation, but when faced with conflict, her first instinct was to understand. She looked to understand who and what the people she encountered on her path were like... as the years passed, this attentiveness became almost automatic, allowing her to recognize the intentions of others in advance and prepare before anything even happened. At first, when she'd just discovered this skill, she used it to feel more confident, to stay in control of situations and avoid being made fun of again. She was always one step behind, able to better read what was happening around her, and this made her feel ahead of everyone else. Over time, this habit grew into something more: she began to truly understand people's intentions, she began to recognize patterns in behavior, and predict certain reactions before they even happened. It wasn't an instant process: it grew with her, experience after experience, and Kiara also tried to develop this skill every day, training primarily to dodge blows and attacks, but also participating in various duels. Over time, this has made her increasingly difficult to hit because she now reacts with short, precise, and almost silent movements. No one would expect such a minimal movement to dodge a blow. For example, if someone tries to grab her by surprise, Kiara doesn't let herself be caught the moment the gesture ends, but lowers her shoulder, rotates her torso slightly, and takes a step, just enough to avoid the grab without losing her balance and forcing the other person to misplace their move. Even the most difficult moments played an important role. Situations in which she felt under pressure or uncomfortable pushed her to rely on this very skill, and the more she found herself in these situations, the better she became at reading what was happening around her. For example, one day she was in a crowded hallway. Amid the commotion, she noticed a boy nearby stiffen. She immediately noticed his tense shoulders, clenched jaw, and staring straight ahead. Nothing had happened yet, but those signals were enough for her. Indeed, a moment later, the boy moved suddenly, bumping into the person in front of him and creating a disturbance. Kiara, however, was no longer there. This constant attention also influenced her way of moving and thinking.

Landon had always been fast and pretty good at dodging things. Even when he was a kid and he was running around playing tag with his sister, Landon was able to dodge out of the way quickly when she reached for him. This may have left Harper throwing a fit when it happened one too many times, but Landon enjoyed being quick to dodge her hands. Eventually, Landon would let Harper catch him, mostly because she would whine and threaten to quit playing if he kept dodging her so quickly.
As Landon joined the Quidditch team, he worked on honing this skill. This skill came in handy in Quidditch, especially as Landon watched his teammates and opponents get knocked off their brooms. It looked painful and embarrassing, and Landon wanted to do what he could to avoid that fate for himself. As a Keeper, he was less likely to be knocked off his broom, but he still wanted to prevent it from happening.
So Landon practiced hard, dodging bludgers and the like during Quidditch practice. While Landon could be distracted when it came to some things in life, he didn't allow himself to be distracted during Quidditch practices. He scanned the whole field, watching for things that he could possibly miss. He got better and better at dodging things.
Landon didn't just practice at school. Obviously, he couldn't play Quidditch at home as he didn't live in a wizarding village, but he had a friend outside of magic that didn't know he was magical. He would play football with his friend, dodging his attempts to steal the ball from him as he dribbled it toward the makeshift goal. This helped him grow stronger with his evasion, and he tried hard to keep building this skill. They played frequently and, thankfully, Landon was used to doing stuff without using magic, so his secret stayed secret.
Landon became good at evasive maneuvers, to the point where he could dodge almost anything more easily than he used to be able to. He was able to keep the ball away from his friend most of the time. He also got better in Quidditch practices when he was at the school. It was almost like he knew how to get out of the way of things instinctively. He performed better in Quidditch practices and hopes to apply this skill in a real game someday soon.

For years, Chloe Wade's "Quidditch" training took place on a mud stained Muggle hockey pitch.
While her older brother was swoping through the sky, she was encased in the foam and plastic of a goalie, standing against a torrent of speeding balls. She treated every save as a substitute for the flight denied by her older brother, the words: You're too young. The swing of a stick was her sanctuary, a place to escape from her siblings even as she longed to join them.
Over the years, she began to walk with a slight limp in her step, a hand held crooked against her chest, the fruits of agonising years training to join her brother as he swum infuriatingly across the sky. And she was stuck on the ground.
Every day, she lugged the heavy, sweat-stained kit to the hockey field. The dragging of the bottom of the bag became a melody to which her life was orientated, a song which embodied the countless years spent training on the ground while her twin smashed baseballs into the sky and her other brother caught them.
And while the pain stayed, as well as the bruises she sported like trophies, she could move faster, she was stronger, than anyone else she knew. She was a panther, a hunter, disguised under a limp, a hunch, and a helmet with a mask on.
She watched the Quidditch matches on wizard's TV with gusto. She could imaging the wind whipping across her face, the Chasers only blurs of colour, the stands soaring past her into the sky into a soaring spiral of people, cheering, cheering: cheering for her.
The keeper lauched the ball back into the melee. They dismantled the Hawkshead Attacking Formation, they screamed upwards into the melee and came out with the Quaffle, and hurled it to the other side of the pitch. And the beuty of it! She could hardly express her excitement, or keep it contained as her brother glanced quizzicaly at her as she slid back off the sofa, back on, and danced around the living room in a failed effort to calm down.
She imagined the cup in her hands, being lifted towards the screaming crowd, as she reveled in the victory of winning the Qudditch cup .
And she promised to make that dream become a reality.

Name of Ability that you are applying for: Calming Presence
Describe why this fits your character:
Amalie had never liked disorder, chaos, conflict, or basically anything that disrupted the peace.
As she grew up, she started to notice something unusual. Whenever she drew near, raised voices would lower, clenched fists would relax, and frowns would turn into small smiles. Any tension present just evaporated. People seemed to pause.
She never needed to raise her voice to be heard; somehow people quieted on their own, as if suddenly forgetting any disagreement. It was almost as if an aura of tranquility surrounded her, and people were compelled to bide to the call of peace, even without realising.
It was the same even with her family. Whenever her brother, Adrian, tried to provoke her, she rarely responded with anger, be it verbal or physical. It was funny how even her parents would come home and grumble, ranting about a bad day at work, or some annoying colleague not to their partner, but to Amalie. It was not often that Amalie returned this sharing. Even when her parents had small arguments, these would quickly vanish when Amalie entered the room. Even Adrian, nine years older than her, trusted Amalie with all his secrets, from his crushes to crashouts.
She was always the peacemaker, and even on the rare occasion she was in a fight, it would quickly dissolve. Where others would react on instinct, Amalie chose to stay restrained. She learned at a young age that fighting fire with fire only made it worse. She always thought this was because she was a person who definitely did not thrive under attention and just wanted her own space, but growing older, she realised it was something more.
Amalie had always been the listener, rather than the talker. She paid attention, not just to what people said, but also to how they said it; the emotions, the pauses, the breaks in voice. She had a remarkable knack for making people feel seen, heard and valued. And she would never ever betray their trust, and they somehow knew it. Because of this she was everyone's confidant, wearing their happiness and burdens, upon her shoulders, amongst her own.
She never asked for this trust, rather she subconsciously drew it towards her. But to Amalie, it was simply a matter of being there for others and maintaining the peace. To her, she had simply learned to be steady, restrained, and always lend a listening ear when others are not. And somehow, that had always been enough

Describe why this fits your character (not why you the player want it):
When does Cassie realize she is charming? She does not know for sure. Maybe she realizes this when she keeps noticing people looking at her when she is studying in the library, or when she regularly gets praises for her wit and her appearance. Little by little, she comes to realize that she may be a charmer.
Her beauty is something not to be questioned. She has soft long hazel hair that falls gently around her face and shoulders. Her skin is pale and smooth, delicate like fine porcelain. Her bright blue eyes are probably her most charming feature—they are clear, gentle and full of warmth, framed by thin dark lashes and neat soft brows. Her nose is straight, and her lips are soft with a natural light pink shade. Every part of her face looks soft and balanced, making her sweet and naturally beautiful. But she is more than just delicate and soft. In sports, she carries a sharp, heroic grace. She also has a perfect figure, with long legs and a slender neck.
Elegance radiates from within her. Practising Ballet ever since she was four, grace comes naturally to her. She always stands tall and poised. Whenever she dances, be it a difficult variation or just simple moves, elegance unfurls with every move she makes. When she is just standing still, grace still surrounds her as a soft glow.
When she stands under the spotlight, confidence bursts forth. Endowed with natural leadership, she seems to be glowing from within. Her heavenly voice and confident aura make listening to her a wonderful pleasure.
Her wisdom is not to be ignored. Her academic performance is near perfect, being able to answer nearly every question in class. Her neat handwriting makes reading her essays an unforgettable experience. Outside classes, she immerses herself in the library, expanding her knowledge and appreciating poetry. Deeply versed in classics, no wonder noble grace radiates from within.
Though her charm has attracted her a lot of attention, Cassie is proud of herself. It is her hard work that brings her extra charm, and she is ready to use it well.
Being her friend, one might be attracted by her beauty, grace and wisdom and then get used to it. But beware, being her enemy, a rival in academics or an opponent in sports, she is distracting, very distracting, the very second she appears in one's sight.

Ebony Vetra had always been well-versed in escaping things. Considering the relatively small stature of hers that made her slightly more nimble than average, she was evasive in nature. Physically, she was quite well-practiced in evading. From a young age, she had begun outrunning the childish neighbours who seemed to have taken great pleasure in chasing her around, and by extension escaped the gazes and jeers of the bullies. Back then, the chase always concluded in her fleeing, hiding in a shadowed corner, and the children losing interest. Her years of being trapped in a perpetuated cat-and-mouse game — as well as experience garnered from dodging shoes thrown at her from the same pesky children — had allowed her to develop a somewhat inherent instinct for evasion, a reflex constructed in reaction to any and all objects or individuals thrown at her. It had almost become something of a sense over the years — she found it ambiguous herself, but it was almost as though there was some underlying feeling that prompted evasion when danger is sensed to be near.
The girl also possessed tendencies to evade situations (rather than physical objects). This tendency held itself particularly prominent in social situations. Any environment that held an abundance of individuals was an immediate sign to abort and for evasion, a sign for her to retreat into secluded isolation where she could bathe in the pleasure of entertaining nobody but herself. Such also seemed to be the case when individuals desired to talk to her; Ebony would always search for excuses which would allow her to pardon herself from conversation, to evade interaction. In that sense, it was difficult to catch the brunette for verbal discussion.
The skill or sense that allowed Ebony to evade was not all inherent or natural, certainly, nor did it simply lie in her mental aversion to social situations. Throughout her years at Hogwarts, she had also become accustomed to physically evading objects — said object being a heavy metal ball, of course. The bludger. After having gone through years upon years of Quidditch, she had met her fair share of bludgers. She couldn’t count how many times she had been pelted by those bludgers; there simply weren’t enough fingers and toes to keep count. Whether she eventually became frustrated by her own incompetence in evading bludgers or whether she simply did not desire to come into contact with one again (ironic, given she was a beater and very much took pleasure in hitting the bludgers), she had spent a considerable amount of time in honing her evading skills. Through the countless official games, practice matches, and training sessions in which she had attended, she only became more and more nimble. And after so many years — built upon her inherent elusive tendencies — she dared say that she could maneuver more evasively than some others.

Describe why this fits your character:
"One, Two, Three— C'mon boy I don't see you moving! Four, Five..." This was considered a regular day for Fire, that is doing strenuous exercises at the crack of down every morning. "Twenty, twenty-one— That's not gonna do Sammy boy, we got to start over now, AH ! Don't let your chest can't touch the ground bow—" A scowl pulled and contorted the boy's face, sweat beading on his forehead and dropping onto the blades of grass below him, the strains of his muscles burning as he lowered he body down with as much discipline as he could.
This was part of the reality of being born the child of a former national athlete, constant training at dawns and evenings, slowly building his body so that no matter what, he was always in the best shape of his life. It only further made sense that the constant body-building and activities to push his physical health to the absolute max, and bordering it's limit.
"Don't let that maj-jumbo make you soft Samuel," Fire flinched slightly as the buzzing of the razor came close to the proximity of his ear, as his father twisted and turned his head. "Coz' magin all that disappeared today, you can't hide behind a little twig, remember this: brute force is the way— the only way to win boy, never play fair, ALWAYS fight dirty. Ain't nothin in this world fair, so you remember that."
Even though he grimaced and sneered at his father and the preposterous words that would leave his mouth, discriminatory remarks against the wizard-born race, or anything he deemed 'not-normal'. But he knew deep down, that his flesh-and-blood only meant the best for him in his own disgruntled, messed-up way. Even if Fire didn't always fully agree, some of the ideologies had become ingrained in him like second nature, slipping out like snake venom. He honestly didn't even think twice, working out in his dorm room, despite the dismay of his roommates who had to deal with the aftermath of sweaty socks.
It was just an average schedule, get up, train, shower, eat, go to class, do stupid stuff, and then go back to his dorm, if he felt bored train and then sleep. Fire though, began to find a new extreme interest in wizarding sports, something he was priory too exposed to due to his father's controversial beliefs, as the Hufflepuff would usually concentrate on muggle sports such as boxing, martial arts, basketball, track, and swimming. But now with the hyper fixation on the newfound grounds of wizardry athletics, Fire trained more to become up to par in attempt to become a better athlete in those fields, and actually in the fields on his broom. Me and my family tries so hard to be "normal," and not weird but there’s always been this weird and dark secret hanging over my mom’s side of the tree. Nobody even mentioned it until my Hogwarts letter showed up. It turns out my great-grandfather was this total recluse who lived out in the marshes. People call him "odd" because he liked hanging of snakes way more than people. Basically, he was a Parselmouth. The gift totally skipped my grandma and my mom, so I think everyone just assumed—or hoped—it was dead and buried.
My parents were honestly pretty freaked out when they realized I had it. We aren't even related to the Slytherins, as far as we know. It’s just this bizarre, ancient genetic thingy that decided to wake up in me. If you saw me walking through the halls at school, you’d just see another kid inside the hogwarts uniform. You wouldn't know I’ve got this s ecret language tucked inside my brain.
I’m actually counting the days until my third year so I can finally get a pet snake. I like, having a companion that actually gets what I’m saying sounds is way better than an owl that just hoots and drops mail. I figured out I could do it when I was ten. I was out by a woodpile in the garden when this big snake slithered out. Instead of running, I just felt like I should say something. I whispered for it to hide so my dad wouldn't come out with a shovel, and the snake actually hissed back, "These stones are warm." I understood it, like it was plain English. That’s the part that still creeps me out sometimes because how natural it felt.
My little brother, who is is a Muggle, saw the whole thing and ran to our parents. He ended up crying and sprinting inside because he thought I was making these "creepy spitting and hissing sounds." That’s when it hit me that what sounds like a conversation to me is just Parseltongue to everyone else. I keep it to myself now so I don't scare him. But sometimes at night, I can hear the tiny ssnakes inside the walls. They were whispering about tasty mice or the rain. It makes the world feel very huge and magical, but it’s a pretty sad and lonely secret to carry.
I’m hoping the library at school has some old, dusty books that can explain why I’m like this. I need to know if there are others who have this gift but aren't, you know, villains. I wonder if my great-grandfather felt this lonely, or if he finally found some peace out in those marshes. It’s a lot to carry, but it’s mine. I’m ready to get started at Hogwarts.

If you asked Kennedy who her favorite person was, it wouldn't take long for her to admit it was probably her dad. They had a special relationship and bonded over common interest of animals. However, James Cheek was promptly a muggle, and his abilities didn't reach as far as his children and wife. Her father had always been fascinated with magic, and admired the talent of his family with not even a trace of bitterness. But Kennedy noticed the sparkle in his eye whenever her mom would do simple charms around the house. The way he slightly mouthed the words to some of the incantations her brother made. All these things Kennedy took account of, and secretly devised a plan. Kennedy was naturally gifted at school, but charms was something she wanted to be even better at. She spent lots of free time reading over her book and paid extreme attention to detail in class. She tutored herself in her free time, getting ahead of the curriculum so that in class she had time to perfect the charms they learned. At first it was hard, she grew frustrated when she didn't get things right away, she expected herself to be perfect. However, things became easier with practice and routine and by the time winter holidays came around, she was ready. When her and her father sat in the living room with the fire blazing late at night, they began talking about her time at school. She grinned wide, knowing it was finally time to enact her plan. She stood out and drew her wands and put on a display for her father. All the charms she had learned and perfected that year so far she showed him, putting on a beautiful display of her knowledge. She made sure to enunciate and create fluid movement in clear patterns. As she ended, she saw her fathers eyes wet with tears, and she frowned wondering what she had done to upset him. When she asked, he only shook his head and said,
"I'm so proud of you"
Kennedy thought back to all the work she had put in the semester to do something nice for her dad. Maybe it wasn't all for him, but also a little bit for her, to prove to herself that she could do difficult things. She had grown to love the art of charms, and was sure she would keep of her study plan, because she had so much more to learn and was going to make herself proud.

Reducio
From a young age itself, Avery was quite vigilant, she noticed little things that most seemed to miss. She could hear the occasional light buzz from the gramophone. She would notice bees sitting on flowers. She could even easily predict weather change even if it didn't seem like it.
While playing in the woods behind her house, she'd spot bird nests that were camouflaged in the tall trees. She could differentiate different stones, which most people would claim as being the same, from one another. She could also tell apart different woodland creatures and birds. She never got lost in the woods, no matter how twisty the paths were. She would spot the right trees, or follow a bunch of ants towards the right path that led home.
While at home, she could tell apart her parents and friends just by hearing their approaching footsteps, or the way they knocked on her door. She would be the first one to notice if someone was blue, no matter how hard they tried to hide it. She loved to stargaze and knew the positions of the stars at different times by heart without ever memorising it by looking at charts.
She'd spend time at her dad's antique shop, looking at all the carvings and detailing on each piece. After coming home, she'd trace out the different patterns she saw for fun. She excelled at many games like- 'two truths and one lie', she'd easily find out the lie; 'Blind man's bluff', she took the least amount of time to tag someone, etc. She could feel the movement of people beside her and the shifting air easily.
She's also great and solving puzzles, riddles, and cracking clues and codes. She loved playing treasure hunt, and often set up the hunts too. She liked mazes and loved navigating them. She could also predict the weather. Once on a sunny day, she said that it was going to rain, everyone said that it was sunny and it couldn't possibly rain. But she thought otherwise, it was getting quite windy, and there were a few dark clouds in the sky, she noticed ants moving in large groups, and even some birds flying lower than usual. It was also unusually quiet, she couldn't hear the chirping of the birds, or the chittering of squirrels.
To everyone's surprise, an hour later it started raining heavily. When asked how she predicted it, she replied, " I don't know, I just felt some change in the surroundings and thought it'd rain." Similar incidents have happened multiple times.
She could also predict a person's behaviour or reaction to a certain incident. She's keen and observant of people's body language. She knew if someone would yell, or if they'd cry, or the different ways they'd showcase emotions like happiness, irritation, or fear, etc.
Since childhood, she's had many instances and behavioural patterns that make her lean towards having the ability of " Sixth Sense".

Reason for Pending:
- Please clarify the weather prediction example to ensure it aligns with her abilities. She would not be able to supernaturally predict the weather, but might have a feeling based on pressure and cloud patterns.
- Remove colors from trunk.
