We welcome @Prat Pass as our new Slytherin prefect. He has done very well as a duelling captain and on the ball planning team, so we are thrilled to see him take on this new challenge. This does mean that @June Selwyn is departing and we are sad to see her go.

Welcome Lesmana Asmaralaya

We welcome Lesmana Asmaralaya, played by Zach Zaphiere, as our new Potions Professor. Zach is no stranger to staff, having served as Ravenclaw Prefect* since December 2023. We are excited to see his transition into a professor role and to work with him on the Potions system!

This also means that we will sadly be saying goodbye to Méabh Regan, also known as Dealla Prince. But we hope to see her around in a non-staff capacity, writing with her beloved characters!

*This does mean we will be choosing an additional Ravenclaw prefect (read: two total) from the current application batch.

Welcome to Ari Gwild and Dennis Tumberton

Please join the staff in congratulating our two new Ravenclaw Prefects: Ari Gwild and Dennis Tumberton! Ari has been a member of the community since May 2021. He served as one of the founding Broom Racing Captains until 2023, and has been an active member of the site and Discord. Dennis has been part of the community since December of 2023. Despite a hiatus during part of 2024, he has returned to site and Discord in the last few months with a lot of ideas and desire to contribute to the community!

We are excited to work with them both, so please send them your congratulations!

iNPCs from Ilvermorny, Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, Mahoutokoro, Koldovstoretz, Uagadou, Castelobruxo and Tenūsa are invited to join Hogwarts in April for the Spring ball. They will arrive at Hogwarts on Saturday March 29th. iNPCs will be leaving the morning of Sunday April 13th.

The spring ball will be happening IC Friday April 11th which means iNPCs will be able to attend. The Spring Soirée Details

During their visit, iNPCs will reside in the campgrounds as before. There are no specific tents or cabins but assume that each school stays in their own accommodation or cabin, and you can't visit inside other school's cabins.

Hogwarts' Easter break this year is IC from Sunday April 13th to Sunday April 27th (they leave on Sunday morning, arrive back Sunday evening). During this time, your character can stay at the castle without classes OR return home for the entire break. Please be consistent when writing your character during these dates.

Please remember our new forward-dating rules: you may forward date threads up to three months.

Also remember our rules regarding iNPC usage: you should not be roleplaying any unapproved iNPCs or unapproved application points, and you need to follow the posting guidelines outlined here: viewtopic.php?t=16915#inpc

We would like to welcome back Octavius Baird, former Professor of Astronomy and co-lead of Mentors to the staff team. He returns to us as the school nurse. When did he go to school for medicine, who knows? Thankfully as long as he knows the spells we need we should be fine, probably. He is better known by his student account Clark Baird of House Hufflepuff, he has been with us for many years and as I am destined to suffer, likely many more.

We would also like to welcome Matthew Campbell, a Slytherin. Matthew is best known by his housemates for his writing skill, speed and ability to moderate chaotic scenarios. Admittedly, he is the first person I have seen capable of handling the chaos with relative ease so I look forward to seeing what he will bring to Tenusa as their new headmaster, Lawrence Maynard.

Hello guys! I have something to announce. There have been some modifications to the Rules of the Hospital Wing, the Healer’s Internship, the Hospital Wing Forum Lore, and an addition of a new block of lore to the Hospital Wing; the Relaxation Canopy.

The Hospital Wing Rules
1. Changed who is considered “staff” or “in charge” of the hospital wing, or have some sort of status to qualify for their work they will do in the Wing.
2. Removed rules that copied ic rules that already existed for Hogwarts
3. Added subrules and modified rules
4. Removed Dusana Sabo’s discord and replaced with mine
5. Modified and added new questions to the FAQ section

1. Made additions to the lore with the mention of the Relaxation Canopy
2. Added stuff that Octavius has added since he took the position
3. Added that there are more options for blankets (more specifically, Comforters you’d find at walmart, like minecraft print.) than just the thin white sheets

Healer’s Internship
1. Open to ALL years under the Grouping System
2. Added groups to put students into; 1-2 into Group 1, 3-5 into Group 2, and 6-7 into Group 3
2a. With every group you’re in, you have a new responsibility or expectation like- Group 1, you’re learning about how to treat each case, Group 2, you’re treating wounds, Group 3, you can treat the same stuff Octavius can.
