A Once those damned monkeys had finally left, the arena presented them with what was probably the worst weather ever. A temperature in their section of the arena surged as a heatwave came. Whoever was manning this place really had it out for them.
Jada wasnβt the only one suffering, her companions, Dido, Poppy, Henry and Avery were having a hard time too. Dido and Avery seemed to be most affected, seemingly unable to do anything. Poor Dido, the girl really was going through everything today. The jaguar, seeing weird things and now this.
Seizing the distraction as an opportunity, Jada made use of her wand. A bush lit up behind Avery where her missed Incendio Duo had landed. Dang it! The girl thought, if only Avery had stood a bit more to the side or this horrible heat would stop digging up her brain. If it had hit Avery, she wouldnβt even had suffered much, right? I mean, somebody would have come and pulled her out of the arena and gotten her to a healer. In the absolute worst case, sheβd have put the girl out again. Once she was sure Avery would want revenge or anything like that, of course. Either way, she wouldnβt have been seriously injured. B

By the second go round of the sun exerting its wrath upon his person, Henry was fairly sure he could literally feel the already hardened mud in his hair baking into lumps of pottery. How delightful. I've never missed the rain more in my life... An odd thought, perhaps, for someone ever so slightly convinced that some Amazonian weather deity had heard his prayer for less rain and sent the initial heatwave to Zone 2 as he moved there, just to spite him.
While the heat was still manageable, the little brown haired boy was finding it hard to see properly with the especially bright sunshine. He'd always been more sensitive to bright lights than most of his peers, and this proved worse on certain days more-so than on others. This was one of those bad days. In fact, this morning had been one of those where he had to lay there with his eyes closed for about half an hour, occasionally peeking an eye open a fraction of a fraction of an inch - just to see if he could convince his pupils that the lantern light wasn't equivalent to staring directly at the sun through a telescope... only to try with the other eye once the first's lid slammed shut against his wishes. So, given that start to the day's activities, maybe it wasn't quite so surprising that - when actively trying to use those pesky cerulean orbs set into his noggin to look for something important - the sun would prove to be a far more dreadful opponent than those actively casting spells at him.
And it seemed like the others were also having a dreadful time with the burning ball of death glaring down at them from the heavens. Not only had his fellow Sloth wandered away... quite possibly back towards where they'd just come from if he wasn't mistaken... but the girl casting a spell he didn't recognize that was in all likelihood aimed at him manage to have the spell backfire in her face.
He would have cringed sympathetically, were it not for him hearing the incantation for a spell he definitely DID know. As he was very occasionally known to do, the Hufflepuff sprung out of the way just in the nick of time, and panted to catch his breath and try and quell a now rapidly beating heart. He then smirked to himself, the little pyro, "Pretty spry for a Sloth, aren't I?" He smirked, then narrowed his eyes at Jada, "That's the second time someone on your team has tried setting me on fire today, it's very rude. And dangerous. Especially with the sun being this bloody hot right now, you could set everybody on fire." Once he was done with his lecture, he glanced towards the underbrush and hightailed it into the greenery, hoping they wouldn't be so daft as to try that particular spell again.Action: As Strategized

Humphrey, the great and noble boy, was, of course, best suited of all his team to make their way to the enemyβs base and to find the flag. Ophelia, that sensible girl, seemed to realise this and Humphrey was proud to realise they both were making the attempt to get towards the danger-zone.
It was purely chivalry, an innate generosity, that caused Humphrey to decide he ought to stay a little further back. After all, Ophelia deserved some glory too and she had more than proven her loyalty and respect to the esteemed boy. His hesitation choice to retreat had obviously had nothing to do the large and fearsome jaguar that lept out at the pair, angling itself towards Humphrey.
Even if his actions had indeed been caused by the creature, they were only taken in order to be a more distracting target for the wild animal, in order to protect his team-mate from his attention.
FEEL FREE TO DESCRIBE HUMPHREY SHRIEKING AND RUSHING BACK
No matter the root cause for his decision, Humphrey chose to remain in the third zone and instead scan his enemies. There was-
One girl was staring at him. Dark, wavy hair, glasses and moony eyes. Of course. One of the many many fan-girls he had attracted over the years. Not that he had ever seen any until then. But that was because of his secret security service that not even he knew about, right?

Rupert glanced around him. Remarkably, despite the games apparent chaos, only very few of the six children in the space were actually doing all that much. He and one of the Hogwarts girls, Tina or something, were there and, though a boy and another girl ran further into the jungle, the boy came back screaming his head off. It reminded him for a moment like what one of the other Ilvermony kids had done when that bird looked at him wrong.
Both had reminded Rupert to pay more attention to his surroundings so, with a slightly tired grin, he looked at the trees around him, searching for any secret obstacles. Nothing was changing really. Perhaps it was getting slightly hotter?
βTina?β he asked, hoping that that was indeed her name, βYou think theyβll find the flag soon?β
He smiled apologetically at his opponents before adding in a cheerful yet distinctly sheepish voice, βI wanted to meet up with one of the other students again. Weβre going to exchange addresses and-β
What was he doing?
This was a competition, not his sisterβs little tea parties. He readied his wand and took a few steps back before crouching in a defensive position as he decided what to do.

Having made the momentous decision to actualy enjoy herself, Poppy was almost having as much fun as her brother. She skipped (not literally as the sheer embarrassment would never have let her face any of her fellow players again afterwards) into the first zone. Having joined her teammates, and her opponent, there, Poppy looked around.
Beside her, was a boy with short brown hair. He was probably their opponent? Jada, a girl she definitely knew was on their team because Dido had spoken about her, had shot a spell at him and⦠No! Just barely, the boy managed to dodge the spark of fire.
Poppy winced as the spell veered towards some greenery. Nothing had caught alight yet, but, given the tendency of these interschool events to go awry, that was very likely to change. She remembered the ball she and Rupert had attended- something about Wonderland? During that, a small fire had begun and the hundreds of Hogwarts students (there were so many in such a comparatively small courtyard!) had each taken their chance to be the hero, dousing the flames with storms, spells and even their drinks. Poppy herself had taken the far more sensible approach of hiding behind one of the drinks tables, praying nothing in there was alcoholic.
Rupert, of course, had extinguished some of the flames near a pretty French girl and, typically, he had managed to find her again at Castelobruxo. They, like so many other of Ruβs five-second-acquaintances had received their address and the secret password to give the family owl. Dido, one of the girls Poppy had spoken to, had not received this information.

Fawkes was at her core a duellist. She adored the sport and was one of it's captains for a reason. So if someone were to ask her which spell was she the most well versed in, or in other words her specialty spell, she would say the Metelojinx. Being as interested in astronomy as she was meant she had near perfected the spells.
She pointed her wand above the opposing team and shouted Metelojinx! Within seconds, the clouds began to form above the spider monkeys in zone 3. Fawkes grinned and lowered her wand. Finally she was able to do something. Her eyes dropped from the cloud back down to the boy infront of her.
She didn't know it had happened but her pupils had widened slightly. She was most definitely madly in love with the boy from his looks alone. Did she know it was love? No obviously not. What even was love? Was it simply a word associated with the feeling of caring for someone deeply? Was it simply a word people used to assure other people? Was it simply just a word? What if it was simply a word with no other meaning? Fawkes would not find out the answer. Not today anyways.Action: as strategised. Stats I know its in my rp code but for convinence:ReducioStamina: 6

Sloth NPC replacing Danielle: Tatsu Tatsumaki
Tatsu Tatsumaki. He was a dashing specimen who claimed to come from a far away land known as discord but in reality he was simply a random British 11 year old who had found himself in the middle of the vast jungle where CTF was being held. His appearance? Green hair. Green clothes. Green accessories. Honestly if he could, he would make his skin green as well. But he was not a metamorphmagus. He was simply something those muggle Ipad kids would call a 'bot'.
He stood there amongst the trees, blending in rather nicely thanks to all his green. His face? Stoic. Serious. Emotionless. Expressionless. Who needed emotions. What even were emotions? He didn't know what they were. He was simply a 'bot' after all. 'Bots' don't have feelings. They simply do what they were told to do. Nothing more. Nothing less. Simple and efficient.
Who needed to care about others? Why would he need to feel happy or sad or angry or glad? He just needed to do what he was told like a good boy, or rather a good 'bot'. He looked at his wand, raising his hand up and down methodically before turning around and staring at people. His eyes were empty and void. He just stared into their soul. He was just a normal person! What normal person didn't look into people's souls after all.

Spider Monkey vs. Sloth
NPC: Master Florence de la Flordininatian XI
Master Florence brushed an imaginary speck of dust off his sleeve. His opponents had sense after all, it seems. They knew better than to attack a pinnacle of creation such as himself. Even the elements had known better than to besmirch him with anything worse than a pleasant walk through the jungle. He was of the mighty Flordininatian family, after all, and when pitted against nobility such as his, it was only natural that the Fates groveled in the muck before him. In fact, in lieu of the embarrassment that would surely befall them were they to cause him even the smallest amount of strife, two of the three peasants who had previously been sharing his zone fled at the sight of his magnificence.
Indeed, only three things were imperfect about this moment. One was that he still had to put up with being with one member of the lowly rabble from that institute of such forgettable acclaim that its name refused to tarnish the gift to creation itself that was his mind. The second was that he could vaguely hear someone of noble birth - albeit decidedly less noble than himself - shrieking at the top of their lungs from one of the other zones. The audacity. The indignity. Did they fail to recognize how offensive that was to his delicate hearing? The third, he conceded with a sigh, was that the boy with whom he'd become so inexplicably obsessed was still not beside him. How was he supposed to dissect what this not-queer-awakening was if the object of his not-admiration was somewhere else? This wouldn't do at all.

As the monkeys departed, Dido flashed a grateful smile at Jada who seemed to have avoided their little thieving paws just as well as Dido had. While Dido still didnβt trust the girl in any environment outside of this game, she was surprised to feel that little warmth in her chest indicating she did trust Jada to watch her back in the forest. Looking at Jada, she realised how little she knew about her. She had been in Didoβs quidditch game, much to her annoyance given Jada had plenty of opportunities to practise quidditch with the actual Slytherin team, something Dido was still aiming for. Despite their shared interest, the two never interacted otherwise without Tes being there too, when Jada would seemingly back up Tesβ cruelty. Granted, in those few encounters, Dido had been far too focused on Tes herself to regard the slightly taller girl beside her.
βThanks, Jada,β she added aside, as she turned back to the boy before them. He had narrowly avoided Jadaβs spellwork and, despite the near miss, was apparently taking the opportunity to lecture them on their use of fire. Dido raised her wand and- Damn.
She felt the slowness start to spread from her right hand to the rest of her body. It skipped her elbow and jumped down to her legs, beginning to lock them in place. Dido would have trouble moving for the rest of the game. She winced as her knees started to tingle before schooling her features into a less disturbed expression. She couldnβt let Jada see the failure of her spell, especially not since they had begun to form some sort of camaraderie.
Instead, Dido looked at the boy, Henry, and interrupted his spiel about the heat- though it was getting quite warm where they were- from Jadaβs spell?
βAt least weβre doing something- Have you checked on your flag recently?β she asked playfully, hoping her teammates would be able to eventually back up her question by producing that stupid flag before any more wild animals appeared.
As she spoke, one of said team-mates, Poppy, a shy, American girl, appeared. Dido, who had asked Poppy to go on the offensive, immediately lit up, thinking her question to Henry would be answered sooner than she had expected. When she saw the girlβs hands, empty apart from her ebony wand, Didoβs smile drooped once more.
βWhereβs the flag?!β she hissed, before instantly covering her mouth and adding, βI mean- why are you back here, Poppy?!β in a softer tone.
