Halfway across the circle, Bloom had moved in on Angelique. She was unsure of what was going to happen. Was she going to kiss her? Luckily, a hug was asked from her rather than a kiss. Bloom shrugged and gave the girl from Beauxbatons a hug. She smiled at Angelique and moved back to her place.

It wasn't long that something started from the other side of the circle. It looked to involve Falantra, Serena, the hawt tan boy and from the mentions, Howard. Bloom listened in on their argument and it seemed to be a little more than she bargained for. Luckily, she was not in this argument, however, it then became a bit more physical. Bloom covered her mouth with her hand and winced when she saw Falantra becoming violent.

She couldn't just watch any longer. Serena was fighting back and the first instinct Bloom had was the same as the boy she had eyes for. It was to hold Serena back from continuing fighting. He had tried but she casted a spell. "Serena, forget about her. She has issues," she said, trying to calm her friend down from. "I mean, just look at her," Bloom realized what she had said and in a way felt rebellious, but also felt bad. She probably stirred the pot even more when all she wanted to do was to end the fight and kiss boys. She had yet to kiss one and here they all go getting into drama. Oh well.
ACTION: Bloom unsuccessfully tried to die down the fight.

Moderation Post - Round 4 End of Game
As expected, when you put a bunch of hormonal teens in one area, things go crazy. The non-stop flirting, the self-doubt and the crazy jealous finally became too much for some in the group.

Annie Morgan was perhaps the wisest of the lot. She might have felt a lot of emotions - regret, anger, embarrassment or something else that she did not fully understand - but she had made the smart decision of just leaving. She would not realise the chaos she left behind her. She likely thought that her actions were the most embarrassing or chaotic in the group but, oh there was quite the scene left in her trail. Unfortunately, Dale Kurt was left very confused by her actions.

The crown of the most oblivious surely had to go to him. Though, there were some definite competitors for such a crown in this group... He accepted the kiss that Elena Jangleton had offered. Elena did not know how to react to the bottle landing on him again at first. She was pretty convinced it was rigged but nonetheless, she opted to give him a kiss anyway.

Serena Towers sat there, very confused. Like Annie, she was full of emotions. The difference was that she had not been smart enough to get up and leave in time. Howard White approached her, shooting a look towards his ex-girlfriend that was bound to cause her to rage. Despite the look - and rather close actions, his intentions had been to attempt to mend his friendship with Serena by offering a hug. Falentra Black was having none of it. With a fierce determination - and insatiable rage - she went into attack mode and launched herself at Serena. Successfully punching her in the face, who knows how many times, Falentra was marking who was hers. Serena might have been retrained by her older brother but she still attempted to stop Falentra from getting her way by casting Impedimenta [Falentra to determine if it hits or not].

Phaedra Stavrou wanted to spin the bottle again, with the hopes of not going another round without a kiss. She just needed to catch a break. She was happy to stay out of the way of Howard and Falentra's relationship drama... till it landed on her seeing her former best friend injured. Auto-pilot kicked in, whether or not she understood the reasoning behind her actions and she went for Falentra, attempting to grab the girl's hair. [Falentra to decide success or not]

Glen Pope was attempting to jump in too but the others had gotten there quicker. Still, he tried to be the voice of reason within the chaos. Nonetheless, he was armed and ready for it to potentially escalate.

Angélique de Clairmont just wanted to have a bit of fun, kiss a few cute boys. So far, this plan did not seem to be going well. But she did offer the Ravenclaw she had been paired up with a hug and Bloom accepted. Bloom Silverton worked up the courage to get halfway to kissing the cute foreign boy from Durmstrang. Though, she did seem to be really interested in that 'hawt tan boy'. At least, her eyes seemed to be interested in him. She had yet to work up the courage to talk to him. Whatever happened between her and Johannes was lost quickly. She returned Angel's hug. When the fight broke out, she had the same intention as the 'hawt tan boy' to try and hold Serena back from the fight.

Like the Beauxbatons beauty he was flirting with, Arjan Oberoi just wanted to have a bit of fun too and kiss a few girls, in his case. He managed to flirt his way into scoring another longer kiss out of Irina Afanasyeva, who was trying very hard not to roll her eyes at him. Arjan jumped into the fight, restraining Serena to prevent her from escalating the situation further by hitting Falentra back. He did not realise she the ability to cast wandlessly, unfortunately.

This Round's Pairings

Is anyone even spinning the bottle anymore? Who knows! (Certainly not this moderator). Angélique Colette de Clairmont (@Santario Martin), Irina Afanasyeva (@Lavinia Cloven) and @Elena Jangleton might still be playing.

Those interested in continuing the game of spin the bottle, you can continue to play and roll between yours. If you prefer to have your character 'step away' from the chaos, I'd recommend moving to the Slumber Party thread that takes place in the same area + time (so you can still see and react to the fight) but you don't need to be right next to it.

Currently in the fight (but welcome to continue/leave/move to the Slumber Party thread) are: @Bloom Silverton, @Glen Pope, @Falentra Black, Arjan Oberoi, @Serena Towers, @Howard White and @Phaedra Stavrou .

This thread will no longer be moderated for spin the bottle rolls.
@Astrea Soleil Neptune - did not post
@Annie Morgan and @Dale Kurt - left thread

Howard stood with arms wide, the corners of his mouth raised slightly as a smile crossed his face to match Serena's. It seemed that finally they would be able to put some of that awkwardness behind them. To share an embrace that would not only signal the repairing of a friendship, but also a changing Howard White. For so long he had allowed his anger to control him and to guide his actions. Now, about to enter his fifth year at Hogwarts, what did he have to show for it? The fews friends he had gained now looked at him in disappointment. Even Falentra, his ex-girlfriend, the one that had truly understood him and accepted him the most had not been spared from his wrath. This moment now was proof of what he could potentially become. That the two natures had been at constant war within him could possibly coexist in peace. That using his power to dominate and control wouldn't get him nearly as far as allowing friendship and community into his life. The tides of change were rising around him. Would they be strong enough to alter the course of his life? Could they spare him from that dark path he had set down long ago? Time would tell.

Although the currents may be shifting for Howard, some things would remain constant. Just as he was about to embrace Serena someone would knock into his side. The unexpected force caused him to stumble to the side, his arms flailing to keep his balance. As a shout rung out into the air it became no mystery to who had shoved him aside. His red eyes would bulge with shock as Falentra tackled Serena to the ground, her fist rising into the air before smashing down into her face. Howard's brain would be one step behind. Like watching a wreck about to unfold all he could do was stand there and watch it happen, but as her fist rose again he would not allow her to continue.

"FAL, NO!" Howard shouted as he lunged forward, but he was not the only one that would come to Serena's aid. Phaedra's hands would find Falentra's hair as she yanked her back. He would take the opportunity to jump in between them all. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? SHE'S JUST MY FRIEND!!" He bellowed as he held his long arms wide to act as barrier, but Arjan would use his strength to keep Serena from continuing the fight. If Phaedra could not contain Fal he would prevent her from moving forward. Howard's heart raced as his red eyes locked with Falentra's. First they would burn with rage. Who the hell was she to claim possession of him? And to attack a friend he was just about to make amends with! He was no dog to put a collar on. No toy to stamp with your initials! However as he continued to lock his gaze with hers the anger would shift to sorrow. An understanding of why she would act in such a way. He too was driven by his emotions and controlling them was often the hardest thing for him to do. Her actions were wrong, but somewhere in his heart he knew it was because they still cared for each other. He understood that rage better than anyone, but still it pained him to see it. Not because he was embarrassed by her or much cared what the others thought, but because he was seeing a reflection of his own past actions lived out before him. Howard could clearly see how he must have looked when he let his anger blindly lead him. Just how destructive it could be. "Falentra..." He began.

Impedimenta!

The flash of a spell would interrupt him as Serena lashed back at her attacker. Although he could not blame her for wanting to defend and stand up for herself, for the first time perhaps ever he just wanted the chaos to stop. Several people would also begin to raise their voices as they called out Falentra for her brutish ways. Howard's eyes would bounce around as they surrounded them. His heart continued to race, but there was no rage left in it. Only a sadness and a rising sense of panic. "STOP!! JUST STOP!!" He shouted but his voice would carry a plea and was thick with emotion. "Phaedra, please. Just let her go." He would plead if she still held onto Falentra, if not he would grab Fal by the shoulders. His eyes would be laced with bloody tears as he looked down to her. "Fal. I love you, but I can't keep doing this." Howard would hit her with two admissions. One, that he was no longer willing to keep hiding from his feelings for her. That his pride would no longer stand in his way, but that came with admission two. "I don't want...I don't want to be alone anymore." Not only in a romantic way, but also in a sense that he could no longer allow his dark tendencies to keep him as an outcast of their society. That he was ready to try and better himself. One like him may never fully integrate into the magical community, but if he strove to find a balance between his two natures he was sure to live a more peaceful life. If he could master those tendencies and use them for good he may just find purpose in a life that had for so long felt aimless. With an exhale his eyes would fall away from her.

Turning he would cast his gaze to the others before landing on Serena. Howard's eyes would carry a sadness, but also a tiredness that he often never let be present. "Sorry..." He said barely above a whisper. There was so much more that he would have liked to say, but the feeling of defeat was too overwhelming and the anger in her eye made it feel like she was not ready for another apology from him. With a sudden shift in movement Howard would turn and let his long legs carry him away.

Angél gave Arjan an od and a grin. “Deal!” Not that she had worried about getting kissed by him. Angél would receive her hug from Bloom, a pleasant and quick encounter before things very quickly devolved into chaos. Punches were being thrown, and wands were being drawn. She scoffed and rolled her eyes as she started to walk away. She hated the yelling and fighting and just wanted to be far away from it while she could be. How was it that Hogwarts still even stood with all of these trigger happy undisciplined students.

Three more days, that was all she had to wait before she could portkey back to school. When Howard yelled, Angél visibly flinched. Yell? No, it was more like a roar, and it would have the blonde making haste to leave the group. At first, she eyed the food and the rest of the area where the other students were hanging out, but she decided against it. If a simple spin the bottle got this out of hand, who knows where it would carry over too? No, she would probably take a short walk for herself, let herself get calm, observe if any fighting overlayed to the other area, and decide if she wanted to join in or go back to her cabin.
Angél Leaves Topic.

The poor Hufflepuff literally had no idea what had hit her. There was no time for her to defend herself or take in what was happening, or why for that matter. She had only been sat there, if anything more awkward and puzzled at what Howard was trying to do- which was only a friendly hug. Of course, Falentra didn't have any time to register that. She had no patience when it came to seeing, what in her eyes was a red flag before her.

The attempt in defense from Falentras target went a miss. A poor swing was made straight back at her noodle arms really hadn't been in her favour. The frustration and automatic had surely kicked in, but the experience in throwing the odd punch here could be seen. The Slytherin would go to laugh and tighten her hand round the weaklings arm, but a sudden body caught her off guard. She had no time to react or prepare for what was to come. It was that damn Ravenclaw... She had some nerve. ''Hey! Wha-!!'' A sharp pain that had started from her scalp had quickly traveled down her spin. Had she really just took a handful of her hair like that? This was not her fight! ''What the hell are you doin'! Get off me you bitch!''

By this time, Falentras gaze and attention had completely rearranged itself on Phaedra. Her body had been pulled off from the Huffle and was now left staggering on her own two feet, attempting to gather herself in time to get some sort of defensive in there. ''Get your damn hand off me!'' She shouted, before her eyes tried their best to shoot to her side. Howard had piped up. Well, he had done from the moment she made contact with Serena, but it was only now she had paid attention properly after the majority of her anger had been taken out.

Thankfully Arjan had stepped in and took a hold of his sister in time. Was she really going to attempt to throw another fist while she was held by the hair like this? That was to be an unfair fight, but nonetheless, she would still give it her all. But since that wasn't the case, Fal was to let out a laugh at Serena's poor state and her hateful words that spewed with it. It wouldn't pleasure her for too long, as Phaedra still had her by the hair. A grunt or two would follow and her hand would rest on her wrists tightly, letting her nails finally sink into her skin, the other reaching for Phae's hair now too. Howard was pleading for her to release Falentra and who knows if she ever would have. She could have probably yanked her head away, but it would have surely resulted in loosing a handful of hair in the process and that really wasn't worth it.

If Phaedra was to let go or not, a spell that was to follow was to knock Falentra back and onto the floor, her body stiff and unable to move. She felt like she had frozen right there on the spot. Though she was unable to scream out, her eyes would be sure to show her anger. They shifted from Serena, to her brother. How the hell... how did she do that when he had a firm hold on her. This was.. embarrassing. Nobody had knocked her down like this before and.. and.. it was cheating! This wasn't a fair fight!

What seemed to be the worst, antagonizing minute or so of her life, Falentra would slowly start to feel her toes, then her legs, and then her fingers. She could just about move; her body taking a moment to gather itself. Staggering to her feet, her eyes was to set themselves on Serena, wanting to go back for round two, but Howard would stand between the pair. Was he siding with her? She wasn't sure? Maybe the spell had knocked less sense into her than she already had right now. He spoke on loving her and not wanting to be alone and with his expressions that came with it, Falentra felt a weight of guilt sink to her stomach.

Two other voices had perked up in between Howard's words. One from the boy she had kissed early, and another from a girl she wasn't too sure she had seen before. They made it clear that they sided with Serena, as did everyone except Arjan in the situation. If it wasn't for Howard's approach, Falentra was surely to give them some of her own medicine. She'd of took them all on if she had to. Loosing was to be the only option, sure.. even she knew that but to hell with backing down. She'd go out with a fight. That was thankfully not the case. A few glares were given to the pair, but then they would set back on Howard, softening at the same time. ''I-... Howard!'' He had turned away, a look of defeat or tiredness setting on his face. Those red tears made her weak to the knees and she just wanted to cry with him. To go from a raging psychopath to a timid thing when it came to Howard really made her seem to be bipolar. Though her expression hadn't matched her ex's, her brows did furrow and her eyes held a glimpse of concern for him.
Unfortunately, whilst Howard hated to see the chaos that had just taken place, Falentra couldn't help but enjoy it. She had always thought Howard was like her, but it seemed he had a change of heart and that worried her. Not for his own sake, but what if that meant he couldn't put up with her anger, or her dark cravings that he once showed. Maybe he could change her-- he was the only one she would listen to after all.

All those judging eyes that were set on her was the only thing that kept her guard up and her emotions somewhat hidden. No tears were to come from her, but it seemed defeat were. She hated it, that she had to walk away from this, but Howard meant more to her that fighting. There was always another time for her to finish off what she had started, and she was at least going to make that clear to them all before she left. Turning to face the crowd before her, she would eye each individual whilst walking backwards slowly in the direction of Howard. ''I'm not done with you, Serena. And you...'' Her eyes set on Phae. ''Keep an eye on your office.'' With that, she turned and walked off. She was to thank Arjan separately for his loyalty.

''Howard!'' Falentra would call out and follow after him.

She winced as the grip on her arms tightened as soon as she cast the spell. She had intentionally chosen one to stop the girl, rather than hurt her but that did not seem to matter to him. One of her arms was suddenly twisted behind her back, causing her to arch backwards whilst tiptoeing in an attempt to reduce the pain. It was not enough to break her arm by any means but it hurt and it clearly was meant to be restrictive. She heard a voice, threatening to break her arm if she tried anything else against these precious friends of him.

Her head snapped to look over her shoulder, throwing daggers at the idiot holding her back. He was busy looking elsewhere but the realisation surged through her mind. As though for the first time, it dawned on her that Desmond was holding her back. Of course, she knew that the entire time but... in her rage, she kind of failed to process the information fully and what it actually meant. Her brother was siding with some random girl that he barely knew over her? She did nothing wrong!

Her eyes water out of anger. The angrier she got, the more they would do so. He really did not care about her, did he? All he cared about was the family reputation, how he looked, about his stupid friend, about himself. "Let. Me. Go." She whispered, practically begging him. When his grip tightened, she knew he was refusing. She stared at him with water in her eyes, exasperated by the whole situation.

The one bloody time she needed him and he was not on her side. He could have stayed out of it but no. He chose to intervene, just... against her. Serena clenched her jaw shut, angry and confused by the whole thing. She was fuming. She wanted to punch the stupid guy in his stupid face.

Bloom told her to forget about Black, claiming the latter had issues. A reasonable Serena would have agreed, she would have held back and dropped it. But this was not a reasonable Serena. Why did she have to be the one to drop it when the other started it? Why was she always the one left crying or hurt? She was not about to let go.

At least... until she heard Howard's words. What got her to suddenly snap out of her rage was the emotion in his voice, practically begging them all to stop. Wait - did he just declare his love for Black? Wait - were they dating, are they breaking up now, are they still together? WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON? She had no idea but the pain in his voice made her chest hurt.

But more than that... the look on his face as he mouthed a 'sorry' to her stung. It hit her heart more painfully than being whacked in the face hurt her body. He might have said it, she did not really hear the word but she did not need to. She could read as much from his lips and it broke her spirit. A part of her was still angry, but more so at herself. Serena knew, deep down, that she should not have made the whole thing worse but in the moment, she could not help it. Something snapped inside of her as soon as she heard the words Black was saying about him.

"It's fine..." Serena managed to mumble out as a response in a defeated tone of voice as her body went kind of limp, no longer struggling. It was loud enough for him to hear it but she had no idea if he did, as he had already turned to walk away by this point. She would have apologised for unintentionally getting in the way of their relationship or... whatever she did wrong - she was not entirely sure how she was involved at this point, in all honesty. All she knew was that she was, somehow - and she hated the fact that she had caused him pain as a result. But he was already leaving and she was still confused as to what she actually did wrong. Was it because she was going to hug him? She'd apologise for that and never do it if that was what the issue was. But if it was the fact that she considered him a friend, then she was not entirely sure she could apologise. She was not sorry for that.

Black threatened her, claiming this was not over. But Serena was done. She had no intention fighting her. Seeing Howard cry yet again was fucking heartbreaking. Somehow, this time, it was her fault and she hated that even more. She was done with Falentra, she was done with the whole thing.

She had stopped struggling against her brother's grip as soon as the willpower dissipated from her. Despite that, he had not released her. "WILL YOU BLOODY GET OFF ME?" She snapped at him, clearly exasperated by the fact he seemed to have absolutely no regard to the situation or her feelings, "Relashio!" She snapped her fingers, glaring at him, pretty much done with everything. He might have stopped her from grabbing her wand and threatened her not to attack people but she was just done. She did not want to be here anymore and more than that, she was not about to allow herself to be restrained like this.

Finally free, she grabbed her right shoulder in her left hand as it ached from being twisted so much. Circling it a little, she massaged it a bit whilst raising her aching right arm and wiping her mouth on the back of her hand just in case there was any blood lingering there. She could not tell. Right now, all she felt was hurt. Physically and mentally. Her face ached. The lack of support from her own brother hurt. She was confused, she was angry but more than that, she was done. So done.

"I'm sorry for ruining everyone's evening with this... I'm just... going to go. Thanks though..." She mumbled to the remaining people - namely towards Glen, Bloom and also, surprisingly, Phaedra. The three of them had stepped in to try and help. Serena looked at the Ravenclaw she used to be best friends with for a moment before turning away and marching off. There was no desire to be here and right now, a part of her was still far too mad to actually have a proper conversation. Besides, she did not want to be anywhere near stupid Desmond and his stupid self.

Ugh. She felt so bloody foolish. Her face hurt. Her arms hurt. Her chest hurt. She was such an idiot.

Wait. What?

Falentra seemed to get hit by a spell. There was no way. He stared at Falentra in confusion. There was absolutely no way that that spell came from Serena. He refused. He outright refused to believe it, it was unfathomable. Damn it. Arjan gripped Serena's wrist tighter, twisting it behind her back to stop her from doing anything. How the hell... It was impossible, "Don't think about trying anything against either of them," He warned her in a whisper in her ear, referring to both of the girls fighting, "I will break your arm if you do," He continued, making sure she knew as he twisted it a bit more till he heard her hiss in pain.

This was getting out of hand, quite literally. Everything would have been a lot easier if Phaedra was not literally trying to fight Fal too. The two of them were his friends and Serena was getting in the way of ruining everything he had worked so hard for.

Phaedra must have done something, that was the only explanation. She was smart, right? She had to have done cast the spell. Perhaps he was restraining the wrong person. Maybe he needed to calm Phaedra down, though he did not expect her to jump in when he stood up. In an ideal world though, he would not be between these two ladies - both people he considered to be friends.

As he was thinking, Serena muttered something towards him but he just tightened his grip on her, giving Fal a chance to leave after that annoying ex of hers - who was being, oh so dramatic. This was just meant to be a fun little game but, geesh, everyone went chaotic.

Within moments, he heard his sister's voice screaming and quickly found himself pushed back, his grip suddenly loosening from her wrists as he looked at Serena shocked. He felt forced to release her arms, as though he had been hit by a spell forcing him to do it... There was no way. Serena... couldn't have. She was so weak and useless. But... He stared at her for a moment, baffled. She seemed to have expected the result, saying something before she marched off, causing him to mutter something along the lines of 'dammit Serena'. How did she...? The unfathomable idea that she had cast the spell originally started to seem more likely and he was shocked by the whole thing. It took him a moment or two to recover before he glanced over to Phaedra, running his hand over his hair to try and compose himself again.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked as he approached her, clearly surprised she had gotten involved in the first place. As far as he knew, Phaedra did not get along with his sister. Her jumping in surprised him. Then again, he had started to notice the tension between her and Fal beforehand too - that much was evident from Fal's earlier display. Concern fell on his face. It definitely looked like she could handle herself in a fight - or at least, a catfight - but he did not actually want her to get hurt, "Do... you need to talk?" Arjan offered, though he fully expected the answer to be a resounding 'no'. He figured he would ask anyway. If she wanted the company, he would gladly lend his ear.

The boy was tempted to make a joke about how they were fighting over him or something very... him. He had to cheer Phae up, right? That was his only job now. Saying something ridiculous seemed very appropriate. But for once, he was still kind of baffled as to what had happened and was just being sincere for now.

What just happened?

Everyone was having a blast feeling uncomfortable wondering the results of spinning a bottle, and here everyone had ended in such a rut. Howard, a new friend of Bloom's had run out with a couple people behind him. She was definitely not in the loop of what was happening between her peers. Bloom could guess, however, that there was something going on between Howard, Serena and Falantra.

One thing was for certain, Bloom was not a fan of Falantra from how rude she was to Serena. Serena wasn't Bloom's best friend, but she had enough friendship and mutual respect for her.

Sitting criss-cross on the floor, Bloom watched some of her peers leave the scene. All that was left was Phaedra, Arjan and a few others. Well now the game is over, she thought to herself and began to get up from the floor. Bloom kissed and hugged more girls than she would have liked in this game. Shrugging at her thoughts, she smoothed out her outfit, fixed her hair and waved goodbye at the last people left in the room and ventured towards the door, leaving the room unsure of where she as going to go to next.
