Caroline was not currently in the best mood.

For one, when being hit by that girl's balloon, little Carol yelled;

"SHIT."

for everyone to hear, and two, those random Hogwarts students wanted to shoot at her again, and again, and again.

"ONE TIME, I AIMED ONE TIME!"

Carol yelled back at the two, maybe the remark was petty at the most, and maybe she got a bit emotional, but hey, this serpent couldn't care less. All she wanted right now was for the two English annoyances to stop clinging onto her.

They had already taken one of her two lives, so why was there a reason to even go again.

In a very shocking turn of events, the two girls did not like Caroline's little comment, and in return aimed.at.her.again.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME"

Carol practically screamed back at them while running to take cover someplace else, maybe if she had tried to waste through another balloon at the pair some luck would come into play, though whatever the chances were, the serpent decided to skip entirely while making the decision to hide in the large box with a no.4 on it.

From what she could see the place had no significant occupants, so perhaps this could be a nice safe spot for the time being.

Offense and Defense
There was no big break in between the attacks aside from some casual chatter and the forming and betrayal of teams. The big group of students that was still left certainly showed some activity as they dodged and jumped out of the way as if their life depended on it, which in a minor sense was certainly true. At this point Alan was standing next to @Jake Morris in case the kid would need help re-loading all those water guns that must be empty by now, but he did not see any student who came their direction yet, both of the referees were watching what happened on the field intensely, so that neither would miss what happened. @Lucille Williams would start the round by switching the box she was hiding behind and was now hidden with Altair and Ariana.

Despite his mental pep talk and well thought out tactic there just seemed to be something about Greta that made her exceptional at dodging and with ease she would jump out of the way of yet another attack, this time from @Remi Yao who had already seemed intimidated by the girls sheer luck and skill. It almost seemed like revenge for the broken, new found bond between @Altair Cometnova and Henry, who had previously been hit out of the game by @Eyre Reeves. There was just no way for him to dodge out of the way when Altair took aim at him and made things even. Eyre was "Out!", the Gryffindor called, motioning over to @Eyre Reeves so that he would leave the field, but was welcome to watch and cheer people on. Altair however would need to re-load before she could do much more in this game.

Just as Caroline was about to jump out of the way of the water, @Amadea Campbell hit her by the side. This was an extremely lucky hit, as it had nearly missed the target, yet it did not. Caroline was hit for the second time and therefore was out of the game. Alan would have missed it, if it was not for Jake drawing his attention towards the two girls. "Oh-", he muttered quietly, before he coughed and raised his voice, "You are out of the game!"

In an attempt to hit Greta, @Autumn Ivy would drop the water gun by acciden and would have to spend one whole action to pick it up again. A little worried the near fourth year would shake his head but pulled his attention away to focus on the other students. At least she stayed dry during her fail and did not lose a life over this.

As @Serena Towers would attempt to hit Caroline, she would notice that her grip on the water gun was a little slippery and her hands slipped away as she tried to aim at Caroline. Nothing happened, except that this round was clearly wasted for the part goblin girl as the water hit the nearby ground rather than going even remotely close to the person she aimed for. She would also feel the lightness of the plastic, letting her know that she would have to re-load as soon as she could.

Not that it would change the game much as @Eyre Reeves had already been hit out of the game, but it did not seem to be enough. Right as he began to move to leave the field another water balloon would hit him in the back, completely soaking him with water by this point. If he were to turn around and look for the attacker, he would find it to be none other than Alexei from another school. Not only was Eyre out of the game but his shirt was soaked in water.

The aim of @Melissa Carson was lucky but spectacular as she hit Katrina before the girl could even realize that someone was aiming into her direction. She was hit and out of the game. That was no a worry of @Melissa Carson as she would feel the lightness of the plastic, in need to re-load the water within.

When @Autumn Ivy dodged the attack of Johannes, she did it with such ease that it almost seemed like she saw the attack coming. atching the stream of water hit his target was deeply satisfying to the Russian. It didn't stop him from rather wasting his shot to throw a water balloon at him, just to be certain. Alexei let out an uncharacteristically uncivilized whoop as the girly boy was deemed out. It seemed wonderfully ironic that the boy who had so rudely dumped his drink on Alexei was now dripping wet, almost like karma.

Alexei was so caught up in his celebration that he was unprepared for the attack that came in the form of a stream of water. His grin disappeared as he scanned the field to see who his attacker was. It was a very pretty girl with blue-tipped hair. Still, he was going to have to exact revenge for the life she had just taken from him. He took aim when he noticed another, far better target. A girl who had apparently dropped her water gun. A sitting duck. Now, Alexei was a strategist above all else, and he would have been a fool to ignore such a perfect target. About half the player remained and things were getting real. He wasn't going to waste such this opportunity. Besides, he wasn't actually that angry at the pretty girl with blue hair. It was a game and she had been playing it.

The effort expended to go on high alert seemed to have been utterly wasted. Although there had been two to take shots against her, neither had succeeded. The boy whom she had declared as her personal vendetta [Remi] seemed to have the aim of a five year old wix who had just taken up broom and quaffle for the first time. His shot went wide and she was easily able to duck to the side. And the girl [Autumn]... In all honesty, Greta wasn't sure why she had emerged from behind the box. For a moment, she was quite sure there would be a stream of water jetting her way, but then the girl's gun was on the ground. Perhaps the muggle artefact had malfunctioned for her as well and she, too, was discarding it, soon to be in search of a new weapon?

No matter. Greta was still facing three individuals, and now without a weapon. Fortunately, it seemed they all had problems of their own. As Greta had begun her retreat, she spied a water balloon flying in towards the boy [Remi]. Although she had noticed who had thrown the projectile, it was likely that since it had missed, there would soon be another to follow it up. Furthermore, there had been a stream of water coming in for Greta's own aggressor.

With them under fire, it seemed a good enough opportunity to take her own (temporary) leave. If she wanted to make any sort of impression and serve her school well in this -- albeit unusual -- physical contest, she would have to obtain new arms. There had been a boy whom she had seen filling up the water tanks of other weapons earlier. Perhaps he would be able to get her a new weapon? Clutching at her skirts in one hand so as not to trip herself in her haste, Greta hurried over to him [Jake].

"Ehm..." Never mind struggling with the translation, Greta didn't even know what these things were called. "Voda..." she called out ahead to him, announcing the Russian word for water, face scrunched uncertainly. "Wasser..." she said again, this time shifting to German as she used her free hand to mimic the motion of pulling a trigger. "Ehm.. Mine.. not okay..? New.. ehm... please?"

It seemed she wasn't the only one there in search of a refill on ammunition. An unfamiliar girl with brown and blue hair [Aurelia]-- she was probably American, then -- had also come, evidently in search of water. Greta eyed her warily, not quite certain if seeking refills meant that you were safe from attack or not. This could very well be an excellent place to ambush unsuspecting and defenseless players, after all.

As his aimed shot missed the girl as he sucked his teeth once again. How could this be? No matter, he'll aim this other shot and press on the trigger -

Remi said quietly to himself as he kept his gun aimed at her, realizing she couldn't be at Hogwarts. She must be from one of the other schools as her English was very sub-par.

Figuring that but not letting that stop his -

And she was about to reload? Dang, guilt was building up in his guts, and honestly, he was starting to get tired of this. Constantly looking over his back and seeing someone about to shoot you in your side.

Wait a minute, some girl was about to aim at him!

He uttered loudly at the Greta girl,

"Truce!"

He knew she might not understand what he was talking about and if she took this chance to shoot him in the back as he won't have any more water left in his gun if he reloads, he would understand! He lowered his aim at Greta.

Turning to face this new person who was aiming at him as he somersaulted on the ground, going forward and getting grass stains on his back, as the water went over his head and going elsewhere. Planting one knee onto the ground like a modern-day movie star action hero, as he closed one eye and stuck out his tongue again. He aimed at the girl and shooting his last charge of water at her, hoping it would hit.

Aurelia was depressed. She had just lost her teammate. Instead of protecting him as she should have, she rushed to get revenge on some stupid Durmstrang boy. She had gained an enemy and lost an ally, what a horrible trade. Nevertheless, a grin spread over her face when she hit him. But it promptly disappeared as she watched Eyre leave. "I'm sorry... you did great. Thank you a lot!"

Her gaze wandered and she thought of a plan. A lot of people that were left had already lost a life, and her best choice would be to find a new partner. She also had to get her water gun refilled. Didn't the boy from before mention a re-loading station? Her eyes swept the field and she quickly found the "refill station". But someone had beat her to it. A girl from the looks of it. Doesn't matter... I'll make a truce with them

Auri rushed past all the boxes, sprinting with all her might. Even if someone didn't necessarily aim at her, she didn't want to be caught in any crossfires. As soon as she reached the refill she threw her gun on the floor. Hoping the girl wouldn't be suspicious of her, as she didn't have time for that. "Peace? I won't fire at you... see? My water gun is on the floor", she bit her lip hoping this girl would understand, argh this would have been easier if she wasn't here. Wait a minute, this girl... maybe- maybe she could be on Auri's team?! "Umm, do you want to team up?", Aurelia said with rushed but clear words. The girl looked foreign... was she from Durmstrang?

Then, slowly she picked up her gun from the nozzle, so she could fire it, and gave it to "refill boy". "Can you refill this for me? Thanks", she told him. She glanced back at the foreign girl. Hopefully this would work out.

𝓣eamwork seemed to be paying off. Amadea's water gun skills paid off as she hit the intended target, which was the girl who Amadea didn't recognize. She felt a slight pang of sympathy after hearing her cries of "Why me?" but she quickly pushed them away. There was no time to feel sympathetic toward anyone at the moment, not in the middle of a competition. And to be fair, the girl was the one who had instigated this whole battle; she was the one who had thrown the water balloon toward Amadea.

Turning to look at Serena, Amadea noticed that the Hufflepuff had to reload her water gun, which meant that Amadea was left to defend both of them. Looking out at the field, Amadea tried to think of what she should do. At the moment it didn't seem like anyone was coming toward them, though Amadea knew that it could change in an instant. Because they were hiding behind the box, Amadea didn't want to bring any attention to the fact that they were there so they could use the element of surprise against opponents. It seemed like everyone else was fairly occupied with whatever scuffle they were into with other people and Amadea decided she wouldn't start shooting at anyone just yet. After all, it seemed like the defensive technique that Serena and Amadea had been using before was working quite well for them. One target had already been eliminated because of their teamwork.

Since Serena was busy reloading, Amadea decided she would focus on making sure to keep the two of them hidden from the rest of the playing field; maybe by staying within cover, they would become less of a target. Especially since Amadea was the only one with a working weapon at the moment, she figured this would be the best course of action. She ducked down even lower, hoping to hide the two girls from sight.

Melissa said, "Sorry!" quicky before the girl headed off the field. Mel had shot her twice, which meant she was out. She kind of felt bad, to be honest. That girl only shot her once and Melissa shot her twice. Now, her water gun was empty. She looked over at her teammate, Johannes, who missed another shot, had a water gun that was also empty. Great, now we both have to refill our guns, she thought. "Hey, so because we both have to refill our water guns, I was thinking that we could run at the same time but on the opposite sides so we have a better chance," she said to Johannes. Hoping he heard, Melissa braced herself. Then, she sprinted out towards the refill station.

Mel ran while also constantly checking her surroundings. Who knows if someone tries to shoot someone while they're out in the open, running. When Melissa finally reached the refilling station, she handed her water gun to the Hufflepuff kid, Jack, and said, "Hey, could you refill this, please?" Then, she added, "Thanks!" as the water gun overflowed and he handed it back to Melissa. She then ran away, still trying to not get hit. How in the world am I still in the game? she asked herself while running...

Ariana watched, rather disappointed, as her water balloon soared right past Remi’s head. Luck had played rather fairly on her side today so far. Why was it backing out now? The only thing she had possibly gained from that attempt was a new enemy. Oh shit. She internally groaned, kicking her loose shoelace over her grass-stained sneakers as she narrowed her eyes slightly.

Overall Ariana had to admire the stealth that had allowed Remi to duck out of the way rather quickly. After all it wasn't as though she hadn't been trying, and in her opinion, the balloon had been flying quite fast towards him. A few other opponents were hit, and Ariana waved farewell in response to the boy who she had been crouched behind the box with, feeling rather bad for what she had said to him and his friend earlier. A split second this would have taken, however as she turned back to the game she was met with a rather alarming sight. It seemed that in her minor state of distraction Remi had seen the opportunity to fire his water gun at her in retaliation. Oh dear.

Green hues caught a glimpse of him raising his gun before she panicked and dodged out of the way, grappling for a water balloon of her own. Her hands found one and before it slipped from her grasp, she fired one in his direction for the second time, hoping that it would place its target spot on. Whether luck would favour her this time round, she would not know.
