As she looked around at the sea of students that were present at the game, many of them which were taking part in different conversations, Heather smiled contently, munching on some chocolate frogs she'd bought before. While she came alone here (when she woke up none of her tentmates were to be found- something which surprised the tall girl), she was going to enjoy her time just as much! After all, she was watching her first real Quidditch game!
Between the Hufflepuffs and Durmstrang, Heather was obviously inclined to support the former; she'd always had a soft spot for the badgers, as her own father was one, back in his days as a Hogwarts student. Though, the girl wasn't blindsided by her preferences: the other team had a great technique too, and not a few were the moments when Heather raised her eyebrows in awe, as the foreign students were skilfully flying on their brooms... At very high heights, that is.
Swallowing, the Ravenclaw had to look down at her lap, focusing on her yellow attire- a small tribute for her dear badgers. Her fear of heights, which almost no one knew about, was making the girl get sick to her stomach even just by watching other wizards, quite the paradox considering how much she loved Quidditch. Straightening up, she scolded herself: she would never have to fly at such high heights, so what was she worried about?
Heather was slowly starting to get better, her eyes wandering in the crowd, looking for familiar faces, when a sudden chant in a foreign language, a Slavic one it seemed, startled her quite badly. "Oh, Santo Cielo! Stavo per avere un infarto!" Putting a hand over her chest, she exclaimed quite loudly in Italian; since she wasn't talking to anyone in particular, she reverted back to speaking in her mother tongue. Turning around to see the source of the noise, she noticed a dark-skinned boy with curly short hair- Heather assumed that he was the one who cheered before, as he was gesturing and waving his hands: while he seemed to be pretty invested into the game, his eyes were looking around the crowd, as if he was searching for something. When his gaze suddenly fell on the blonde girl, Heather felt her cheeks darken a bit as she was caught staring; in an attempt to show that she didn't have any ill intentions, she smiled a bit sheepishly, raising her hand and waving; while she didn't think that she would get the chance of meeting someone new, she wasn't going to complain if she struck up a conversation with the boy.
'Oh, Santo Cielo! Penso che avrò un infarto!' = 'Oh, my God! I was about to have a heart attack!

The irrelevant did not want to move. It was warned, that was enough. She unceremoniously sat down on the small girl. Erin, while not a large girl, she was significantly larger than the tiny girl that was crushed beneath her muscular posterior. His gratitude was short-lived. A swig of the butter beer and he would realize the disappointing truth, it was hot. There was this muffled voice from behind her, she was saying something but Erin was not much for listening. "Oh please, aren't people warm anyways?" He was a fangy-boy, "Speaking of, got one right here," she motioned her head back slightly towards Opeila. To her, the girl was just an uncomfortable, complaining chair. To Howard, lunch probably.
"Playing Durmstrang right?" Refusing to fixate on the noisy piece of furniture. It did not involve her or anyone she cared about so she did not care deeply enough to do the research. She was there just to watch Quinn and Reid get their asses handed to them. "I hope they are as brutal as rumored," she added as she watched the teams make their way onto the field and make their loop.
Just a trick of the lighting they said...

Cash let out a small laugh when Mars replied it with cheeky pout. Cash rise one of their eyebrow. "That cheeky pout does not suit you, dear Mars"Cash laugh a little but their laughter drown with how loud their surrounding are. The other wix laid their hand upon the green eyes shoulder to keep them balance.
Passing Miranda then the young Serpent, the short hair Raven sit beside the purple hair girl. They folded one ankle up to rest on their knee. They leaned back in the seat, crossing their arms over their chest to look out into the stadium beyond. Cash tried to follow Mars peripheral but shrug it. Their short course much more important then what is going on at the moment.
Cash continue their 'lesson' all about Quidditch that they know. Cash love the game and it is important that Miranda could understand the game so she can enjoys it. After Cash long speeches about Quidditch they ask Miranda if she has any question about it. "Not really. Although, how many points does someone get for scoring with the, ah, Quaffle?"
Cash need to strain their ears to hear what Mirandas ask the Slytherin girl with how loud the roaring inside the stadium. "Is it just one per score? Or do you get a different amount depending on which hoop you score in?"Miranda continued. Cash squinting their eyes. Trying to remember about that. Either their father or mother had told them before about it.
"Uh,"They sounded unsure. "The ball worth ten points. It does not matter which hoops you score in, I think"Cash tried to remember what their parents told them. Sometimes having a set of parents as a Quidditch players way back when they attended Hogwarts has its own perks.
Then Cash look upon the field just for the sake of knowing what's going on. All of their peers cheered when one of the Chaser from Hufflepuff successfully score into the Durmstrang hoops. Their eyes wonder again. Usually Qudditch make them excited but today is different. The sun slowly goes down but the euphoria from both of the team and both side of spectators intensified.
When Cash spotted someone familiar Cash shout her name. "Yo Verdine!"Cash cupped their mouth with both of their hands hoping their voice loud enough for their best friend to hear it. They raise their hand so the other girl can spotted them. Cash did not know Quidditch is in the song writer forte.
Therefore they are hoping by Lizzie appearance inside the stadium, they could share their love for the game to their best friend. The question from Mars pull them from to the present. "Have either of you played on a Quidditch team?"Mars glanced at Miranda. "Or wanted to play?"Mars added.
"I already sign up for my House,"The green eyes girl smile with pride. "But I am still waiting for them to tell me whether I am cut out for team or not"Cash inform their companions.

As Flash delighted in Syl’s grateful expression, the seats around them began to fill. Not even with Flash’s own many acquaintances, by Syl’s. First, a girl aglow with a paleness and an owl perched on her shoulder. She introduced herself through association with Syl-- a Ravenclaw named Aida-- as her owl stared at him. Flash was fond of most birds, and owls were no exception. He had to commend the familiar for being so unstirred by the common around her, seeming instead to have taken interest in Flash himself. Of course, he had never heard of owls liking to be stroked or pet, he didn’t want to knock the combs out of place and make Zaza have to preen herself anew because of him.
”Hello Miss Aida, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” Flash smiled at her graciously, the seating arrangement not being conducive to a handshake.
Next, another girl approached Sylvain. Had he started these friendships recently, or had he completely mistaken Syl’s shy nature? The girl herself didn’t attempt to ease herself into the conversation, instead embarrassedly calling out to Syl and asking if she could sit nearby despite the seats to either side of him being taken.
”Perhaps you would like to sit just behind us, you’ll still be able to lean in and talk. Or, next to Miss Aida.” Flash offered a few suggestions after Syl’s acknowledgement and corrections.
He continued to talk to her, explaining the rules of Quidditch with a booklet he had. Had he been studying up because of Willow? If so, it was quite sweet of him. He already knew Syl was very attentive to things like that. Probably why it seemed so many girls were drawn to him, Flash was a bit the same way. He knew at his last school, at least, the girls and the boys tended to stay completely separate once they started hitting puberty. The same couldn’t be said for boys like Syl and Flash, who remained open and sympathetic to everyone even after hormones started telling them to act out.
Syl had turned to Flash, his growing emotional distance apparently evident given that they were sitting so close. Flash tended not to speak unless spoken to, so once a crowd gathered and started talking, he was more likely than not to simply mute himself and let others enjoy each other's company. Given Syl’s question to him, Flash piped up.
”Well, I don’t know much about Durmstrang. I don’t know what to expect. Naturally, I want Hufflepuff to win, but as far as how it will really go, I have no data to draw from.” It was a bit of a bland answer, but he didn’t know how else to answer. What was Syl asking for, anyway, didn’t he know Flash didn’t like giving an opinion on things he hadn’t researched?
Speaking of female friends, Flash’s attention was drawn away from Syl at the arrival of Bridget Collins, his relatively new acquaintance. Flash sighed with a smile, he didn’t want to admit it, but he was starting to feel a bit like a third wheel around the two girls surrounding Syl.
”It’s good to see you too Bridget.” He really meant it, which was likely obvious by the way he looked at her. One could say there were few greater joys to the Slytherin than being sought out. ”No, believe it or not, I hadn’t even seen a single game until this year. I only ever just heard my brothers talking about it.”
Syl chiming in to answer the question himself made Flash realize he didn’t actually know anything at all about Syl’s home life. The two of them mostly talked about academia. Homework, books, studying… Flash was actually honestly bad at learning small personal details like that. He generally asked after whatever information was most useful at the time. He did, however, happen to know that Bridget had muggle parents.
As Syl turned back to give the mystery girl more direction on Quidditch rules, Flash rummaged through his bag and pulled out one of the snacks he brought. He hadn’t brought enough for five people… perhaps he should have expected to get an entourage. Flash held a chocolate bar up in front of Bridget.
”Do you like sweets?” Flash asked, a small inquisitive smile on his face.

"Aida, what's with the bird?" said Mars to Aida as they passed. It was the fair wix that Aida knew from Ravenclaw house gatherings. Aida waved gently in greetings.
"Mars. Hi! This is Scheherazade, or ZaZa for short. We met when I first reached London. ZaZa dislikes tight spaces just as much as I do, so we both like this huge stadium. We’re partners in crime now.” Then, Aida smiled at Mars as they politely excused themselves. Aida waved as Bridget introduced herself. Then, with a smirk, Aida replied to Flash with a humorous tone: "...And it is Sir Aida, not Miss Aida. You see, I am a knight now. A knight of Dealla Prince, one of two of her personal guards."
A girl then approached, clearly intending to sit next to Sylvain, and Flash suggested:
”Perhaps you would like to sit just behind us, you’ll still be able to lean in and talk. However, Aida was the chivalrous kind and so stood up, bowing to the newcomer and wordlessly moving over to vacate the seat next to Sylvain. Aida smiled back at the girl to reassure her that Aida wished her only the best. Then, settling her eyes onto the field Aida sat forward. If she was to become a good strategist for Team Ravenclaw, she would have to study this match well.
"Welcome to the Championship Game between Hogwarts and Durmstrang--" rang out the voice of the announcer, but it was hard to hear the details over the roar of the crowd. Aida felt a sense of excitement as she felt the thunder of several Durmstrang supporters pounding their feet on stadium floor boards. Aida joined in, and it was fun. Awash with the symphony of thousands of shouting voices, Aida was in awe at the crowd of such epic proportions. Then, as the teams began to pour out onto the field Aida focused her eyes as much as she could on each player.
The Durmstrang players in particular struck her as gallant and there were many attractive players among them. Then a telltale flash of white hair zoomed out with insane speed, marking Valentin “Der Niffler” Schnell’s entrance. A fellow albino, the Durmstrang seeker already had Aida as a fan. It was inspiring how fast he moved, and in no time he was circling the perimeter giving out high fives to people in the stands as he passed. Like lightning he moved into the area where Aida’s group was sitting and the white witch extended her hand as some others were doing, hoping to receive a high five as well… but he was out of range for poor Aida. There were simply too many people in the crowd. However, as he passed, Aida got a good glimpse of his face, radiant with an incredible smile. Then as the teams took up their positions, Aida sat back in her seat. Rubbing the golden snitch necklace she was wearing, Aida closed her eyes, wondering what Alexander was doing right now. Then, clasping her hands together and opening her eyes, she made a silent wish for Durmstrang’s victory.

"You fell in the lake?!" Rose exclaimed, her eyes wide. "Well, that's one way to meet someone. I was expecting, like, dormmates or class partners or something, but that is certainly unique." she laughed a little bit, not a make-fun laugh, but an amused laugh. It had caught her off guard.
"Oh, cool, I'm in Gryffindor too," Rose added.
Autumn, Scarlett had said. Oh, yes. Rose had used the American version of Autumn, Fall.
With a shrug, Rose said, "Psh, tomato, tomahto. They're the same thing." Rose became very aware of her American accent as she talked. "My mom was American and she raised me. My dad's extended family doesn't like us much... He was a muggle and they thought we were weird and bad influences and so on, so we spend holidays and stuff with my mom's family in America, I've been to America countless times." Rose finished her explaination. "I could talk like someone in the UK if I wanted to, but I... prefer to be myself, I guess."
Scarlett didn't seem to mind Alexi sitting with them, which was good to Rose. Rose wondered if Alexi had any male friends from Durmstrang or if he just preferred flirting with girls.

Aurelia's eyes nervously flitted from Rose to Scarlett and back. She really hoped her two friends would be able to get along otherwise things could get very uncomfortable very fast. It seemed like they were getting along just fine for the moment, and Aurelia prayed it would stay this way. She shrugged at Rose's question of where Mystery Anne was. Come to think of it, she hadn't seen or heard from the girl in weeks, she hoped that she was alright.
Shortly after a hot Durmstrang boy joined them and Aurelia blushed slightly. Then she remembered seeing him surrounded by girls and the bbq and his attractiveness seemed to fade. She already had enough experience with boys of that kind and she didn't want any more heartbreaks. She ignored him and turned to her other companions, while always shooting a glance at the boy, who previously introduced himself as Alexei. But somewhere she knew she was doing wrong. She shouldn't assume anything of him, and anyways, he seemed sweet and she really should give him a chance.
With a sigh, the lovely creature turned to introduce herself: "I'm Aurelia Roberts", she raised her brow, "I assume you'll be cheering for Durmstrang? What do they play like?" She was warming up to him, it really wasn't like her to reject the company of a extremely cute boy. And a plus was that she could get more of an insight into the team through him. "What is it like anyways?", she asked, "Durmstrand I mean. Are the teachers strict? What year are you in?" She hoped that he didn't feel overwhelmed by her bombarding him with so many questions, but she just needed to know him more before letting her walls down just yet. What would this day hold?

"Have either of you played on a Quidditch team?"At that Mars glanced at Miranda. "Or wanted to play?"
"I've signed up for my house team as well," Miranda replied with an amused glance in Cassandra's direction. "I mean, I know it's weird because I barely know how to play - well, until now - but I like team sports, so I thought it would be fun. And if I ever got accepted, I'd probably figure out the rules really fast."
She shrugged, conscious of the fact that it wasn't normal to rush into something so unprepared. She of all people should know that, and look where she was now. But Quiditch had seemed interesting, and Miranda had been busy reading other books at the time, so she hadn't bothered much with the ones of the wizarding sport. Although, most wizards would assume she already knew how it worked, seeing as she was a pure-blood and all, but her parents had never really been excited by that kind of thing, so they'd never seen fit to explain how it worked to their children. Which wasn't that surprising to Miranda, since it was rare that they bothered explaining anything other than their reasons to keep her and her brother away from the animals on their farm.

Katrina managed to get her panic attack in check. She still focused on her slow even breaths, not trusting herself to not spiral into a second one just yet. With the noise cancelling earmuffs, she was able to look up at the stars and not worry about the noise or her emotions. So she did so. For a while she sat, neck craned up, mind blank and simply just staring at the faint white dots.
The girl who Katrina assumed had ben the one to offer the earphones titled her bag of popcorn towards her. Katrina gave a thankful smile and snatched a couple of kernels, and popped them in her mouth. It was refreshing having a taste of something in your mouth. A not so talked about aspect of her panic attacks was everything going grey. Like the life was sucked out of everything around her. That was why she always listed things her senses were sensing. It forced herself to live reality. So when the girl offered popcorn, Katrina took it. Simply tasting something helped everything to calm down, as odd as that sounded.
Katrina sort of turned to Adonis. She was able to read his lips enough to take in that he was trying to talk to her. Katrina tentatively lifted one side of the earmuffs to her his stumble for words. I- why you- you look gorgeo-Good. You look good. She lowered them again and smiled, heart thumping so hard that she could hardly manage a smirk. She was thankful that she could hide a blush behind her auburn hair. She would have time to overthink the stumble later.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just--" Katrina stopped, hating to admit that she almost had a panic attack, "It's just pretty loud and I kind of freaked," Her words were obnoxiously loud in her own head. She could hear clearly the falter in her words. The pause where she almost made a fool of herself, or almost opened up. But this wasn't the right time or place to do that.
"Don't worry about me. It's not like I really know anyone on the team, or even how-- the game really works. That last part wasn't said. Katrina remembered that he was a big fan of Quidditch. They had talked about it when they had first met. But she never mentioned that she didn't really know how it worked. In fact, she had only been to one game. But that was beside the point. Katrina didn't know if he was even worried about her. Why did she say that? Anyway, she wanted him to enjoy the game. Why was she so weird today?
Katrina attempted to look at the people warming up. When her head began to spin instantly, Katrina decided it wasn't worth it anyway. She instead looked down at her hands, if only she had a book to curl up with...
