The groups in the address book is only for those who require it - i.e. Parseltongues get access to chamber of secrets so they require a group that gives them access to this. Giants don't get "access" to anything so they don't need it.

Edit: I finished my application - is there anything else I can do while I wait to get validated? I signed up for summer camp threads, mentors, and I've got my trunk pending - what else can I do?

Dueling has a few members I believe.
