I was a former first string Beater, it'll be nice if you're interested to join the team, they are all very great teammates (IC and OOC). And if you do join the Gryffindor Quidditch team, they actually have a broom fund thread where people can donate money to support the team getting the broom sooner.

Not sure if you already noticed, you can collect your scholarship money in your common room where it shows a silver coin 10 above.
