Are the Prodigal ones worth it? I was thinking of Prodigal Transfiguration, but is that useful aside from just knowing more spells?

Dada and charms Prodigal is useful as a jumpstart if you're a duellist and first/second year. I'm not sure how many additional potions you can brew with prodigal potions (i think there is prodigal for potions) And if you actually actively apply to learn the spells/potions. Though it's not very useful if you're a 5th year like me because the mechanics for the spells aren't out and ready to use yet.

Transfiguration there are a few transfiguration spells that are used in duelling.

It's pretty useful in that you can get access to spells before others do - and you get them through a roleplay post, rather than having to do homework (which is harder, imo). You also get access to a restricted spell that no one gets, unless they have prodigal/use another ability to get it. So yeah, I think it can be useful if you want spells!
