Advancement Program has Closed
The advancement program which is a program that allows players that have been held back to advance to their appropriate (or closer to their appropriate) year, is now closed. There may be some minor clerical edits as we end this season but we are not accepting any new applications. We anticipate opening this again June 2025.

iNPC Deactivations Are Now Open
iNPC deactivations are now open from 1 September 2024 until 1 October 2024. This is a temporary, one-time program for players.
Please reference this thread for applications.
Make certain all threads involving your previous character are complete prior to deactivation, once your character has been deactivated, you will no longer have access to them. This means you may no longer roleplay with them at all. We will be locking their encyclopedia page from any further edits.
Once your deactivation has been approved, when character creation opens up on Sept 15, you will be able to create a new character.

iNPC - Validations Team
The team welcome 2 new members - Dorion Anderson and Rebecca Lark. Both members are well-known for the multiple roles that they presently maintain as well as their numerous contributions to the community past and present.
You may have noticed that we have only added 2 of the 4 members for this team, this is because the vote is still ongoing for the other members. There may be a multi-way tie that is ongoing as the votes are close. Dorion and Rebecca got an obvious majority so we are adding them to ensure a smooth onboarding process and to build up our team. There may be a delay in adding the final members due to the close vote.

Ravenclaw Prefect
For awareness, applications for Ravenclaw Prefect are now closed. All applicants should have gotten a receipt that we have received their applications. If you have not, please contact myself IN ADDITION TO your head of house so we can verify if your application has been received.
From here, we will be voting on the applicants and following up with an announcement of our newest Prefect. This normally takes about a week, but we have had cases where voting is very close so voting time can be extended.

We now have a complete iNPC Team, some terminology will be updating over the next few weeks and appropriate announcements will be concurrent regarding this new staff team. We welcome Emma Wynn, former Hufflepuff Prefect and Opeila Winters, former Slytherin Prefect to the iNPC Team. Both members are well known to us for their hard-work and dedication to the community.
This does mean that we will be opening up applications shortly for both Slytherin Prefect and Hufflepuff Prefect because both of these members will be leaving their former roles. Please congratulate them for this transition and thank them for their hard work.

Please remember when making iNPC moving forward and for all those that chose to keep yours, that iNPC is account-bound. We will not expel or kill your character to give you a new one and there is no anticipated deactivation offering for iNPCs.

iNPC Character Creation Form Update
In order to make it easier for our new team and to refer back to going forward, we've updated the iNPC form to include the following:
If special race/ability, how did they join the school? If they are a first year from Sept 2024, they would be accepted normally. If they are not a first year, please include 50 words on how they transferred into the school or hid their abilities.
This means that if you are applying for a special race or ability - and you are not a first year, please explain how they joined the school. They could have transferred from this year (Sept 2024) once they were accepted. Perhaps they were home-schooled or lived in a village / community for that special race (i.e. a giant tribe and were schooled there until this year). You can use the lore for ideas too. In some cases, they may be able to 'hide' their abilities. If you are claiming they did this, please explain how they did it and how no one noticed beforehand.
Remember that the lore for all of the schools previously did not allow special races until Sept 2024, so this would be the chance to explain how they are joining the school and what they were doing before this.
